"Kevin Qin, what are you staring at?"
Everyone saw Kevin Qin craning his neck to look up, so they all copied him and stared at the sky too.
But all they got was a faceful of thick white fog—there wasn’t even a hint of blue sky.
"Nothing."
Kevin Qin shook his head. For a second, he wasn’t sure if he was imagining things, but it felt like something up above was watching him. "Right now, the priority is to stomp this pillar all the way down."
Mitch Mi and the others are still stuck inside. We can’t afford to waste time—the longer we drag this out, the more dangerous it gets.
Kevin Qin took a deep breath, staring at the stone pillar still over three meters tall. Even for him, this was no easy feat.
"I’ll go first. When I’m done, you guys take turns—give it everything you’ve got, or this pillar won’t budge."
Kevin Qin gave the order, and everyone nodded seriously.
Yvette Ye stood there, snapping her focus back to the mission.
That was the urgent priority.
Jenna Jiang wasn’t wasting time thinking about that kid who supposedly didn’t even dare jump from the helicopter. She stood there, cycling her inner force, just waiting for her turn to step up.
"Kevin Qin can stomp the pillar down that much all by himself—his future’s gotta be crazy bright." Harvey Li sighed, saying it loud enough for Yvette Ye to hear.
Harvey Li was already plotting—if he helped Kevin Qin win over Yvette Ye, his own future would look a lot better.
As long as Kevin Qin got Yvette Ye, Harvey figured their relationship would get even closer.
For Harvey Li, that would mean nothing but benefits.
Just as Kevin Qin was charging up, about to leap onto the pillar for another round of stomping...
Suddenly, up in the sky, the thick white fog started rippling.
On top of that, a sharp wind-howling sound came from above the fog.
"What’s that sound?"
