Sean Xiao Breaks the Siege

"Selena, are you really the princess of the Demonic Realm?" Sean Xiao couldn't help but ask. This was a serious matter—if handled poorly, it could trigger a huge upheaval.

"That's right, I am the princess of the Demonic Realm. But my love for Evan Chu is real. He promised me he'd resolve the feud between the Demon Clan and the Human Clan. As for these traitors, do whatever you want—they're no concern of mine." Selena declared.

"Princess, that's not right! We endured humiliation for the Demon Clan's revival, but you forget the deep blood feud between us and the Humans, all for your own romance. Do you think you honor the late Demon Lord?"

"We fought to the death for the Demon Clan, but you tossed aside everything and now live in luxury among the Humans. Even if we're killed by these lowly Humans today, we'll die without peace!" the black-clad elder shouted.

"That's right! Die without peace!" "Die without peace!" The dark organization members shouted in unison, their emotions running wild. If they all self-destructed, the explosion would instantly flatten Cloudcrest Mountain.

No one inside the cavern would survive. Even Sean Xiao, strong as he was, might not escape—this was truly dangerous.

The others might not understand, but Selena knew exactly what was going on. She glared at the dark organization members and snapped, "You helped evil, siding with Demon Lord Solus. You don't deserve to call yourselves Demon Clan! Do you know how my father died? He was killed by your so-called master!"

"Nonsense! I was there when the Demon Lord was slain by Lord Frostbane on the Godfall Battleground. Stop twisting the truth! Your heart is already with the Humans—you don't deserve to be our princess. None of you will escape death today!" the elder roared.

Suddenly, the dark organization members radiated a terrifying aura—a readiness to die and take their enemies with them. Selena's face paled. "What do you want?" she cried.

The elder realized their fate hinged on Selena. As Evan Chu's beloved, no one dared touch her. If she let them go, they could escape the Azure Tide Ruins—there was always somewhere to hide in this vast world.

"Let us go. I swear, we'll never stay in the Azure Tide Ruins. We'll return to the Demonic Realm. Princess, surely you'll spare us for the sake of our Demon Clan blood. So many have died—don't let more perish, unless your heart truly belongs to the Humans," the elder pleaded.

The crowd erupted into heated debate. Many wanted to kill the dark organization members, but Selena's status as Evan Chu's woman held them back. If they angered her, the consequences could be disastrous.

Hearing the crowd, Selena felt the pressure mounting. She saw the gloating faces around her—one wrong move and Evan Chu's reputation would be ruined, or everyone here could die. She felt suffocated.

Evan Chu saw Selena's conflicted expression and realized he couldn't wait any longer. If he didn't step in, she might be crushed by the pressure. Demon Clan blood ran in her veins, and hiding her demonic aura all these years had been exhausting.

"Sel, don't worry—I'll handle everything!" Evan Chu flashed to Selena's side. Seeing him appear, Selena felt as if she'd grabbed a lifeline in the middle of a storm and threw herself into his arms.

"Evan, I don't know what to do. If I refuse, they might self-destruct and everyone here will die. I can't let that happen."

"But if I agree, you'll be doomed. I'm a demon princess, sworn enemy of the Humans—and you're the strongest Human. What does it mean that you love me?" Selena choked out.

"I understand. Don't worry, I'll take care of it." Evan Chu gently patted Selena's back, reassuring her.

Evan Chu's sudden appearance stunned everyone. Faces lit up with excitement, especially the women, who rushed over and fussed over him, their concern plain to see.

Evan Chu glanced at Sean Xiao and said, "Have everyone leave. I'll handle what's left myself!"

No one dared disobey Evan Chu. Even though some wondered why he'd make such a call, they had no choice but to leave. Those with deep grudges against the dark organization were especially frustrated.

But the elder shouted, "No one leaves! If anyone tries, we'll self-destruct and take you all with us. Dying alongside so many Humans is worth it!"

"Heh, you're the Bloodbane Demon General, aren't you? Only you would have such a bloody aura. But do you think I care about your threats? Self-destruction may be powerful, but it's nothing in my eyes," Evan Chu said coldly.

The elder was stunned. "So you know my name. I heard you're Lord Frostbane—was it you who killed our Demon Lord? Now you've married our princess. Quite the move!"

"That's right, I'm Lord Frostbane. Want revenge for your Demon Lord? Save your grand speeches. Let's see if your self-destruction can hurt us. By the way, your master, Demon Lord Solus, was killed by me at the Godfall Battleground. Your backing is gone—there's nowhere left for you in this world."

"Want to return to the Demon Clan? Even if I let you go, you can't. You're already traitors, and someone will deal with you. Also, your Demon Lord isn't dead—and your princess married me with his blessing. Your schemes won't work." Evan Chu declared.

The elder's face turned even uglier, his aura surging. Evan Chu turned to Sean Xiao and said, "Unleash your spatial domain. I want to see how they die today!"
