"Try it!"
Elder Nathan Chen tossed the set of armor to Elder Bloodsun, who unceremoniously jabbed it with a finger. With a crisp ding, a faint white mark appeared on the armor. Satisfied, he nodded, "This armor's defense is excellent. Even most late Tribulation experts would struggle to break through!"
"This is a real treasure!"
The other elders all tested the armor's defense and expressed their satisfaction.
"This Flamefrost wall is massive. We could easily forge hundreds of thousands of sets of armor from it!"
"Indeed!"
"With this armor, Phoenix Heaven Church's strength will soar by at least severalfold. If late Combined‑Body experts wear it, even Tribulation attacks won't faze them!"
"That gourd you're holding is filled with Weakwater, isn't it?" Elder Faye Moon asked curiously, staring at the gourd in Ian Song's hand.
Ian Song smiled and nodded.
"Kid, you even managed to get your hands on something like that!" Faye Moon exclaimed.
"Ian, can you spare some for me? I'll pay with immortal stones!"
Elder Nathan Chen asked with a smile.
"Sure, but there's no need for payment!" Ian replied generously.
"No way. As your elder, I can't take advantage of you." Elder Nathan Chen insisted.
Seeing his firm attitude, Ian thought for a moment and said, "Alright, I'll give Elder Chen a thousand drops."
"A thousand drops? That's so much!" Elder Nathan Chen grimaced, then turned to the other elders. "Could I borrow some immortal stones?"
"I'll lend you a thousand!"
"I'll lend you a thousand too!"
...
The five elders pooled together and lent Elder Nathan Chen a total of five thousand immortal stones.
