Stealing the Tiger Tally

Zara Yun stood tall, her voice defiant: "Oh? Let's see if they've got what it takes!"

Wendy Yun let out an angry laugh. "Who do you think you are? Someone—ruin her face for me!"

Zara Yun had just slipped a dagger from her sleeve, but before she could strike, a furious shout rang out from the doorway: "Stop!" It was Prince Adrian.

Zara Yun calmly tucked the dagger away and stepped back. Eyes brimming with tears, she gazed at Prince Adrian and said softly, "Yingniang never wanted to climb the ranks, nor fight anyone for a husband. Now that your wife is here, Yingniang will take her leave. Thank you for your kindness these days—Yingniang will never forget it."

With that, Zara Yun turned to leave.

Seeing Zara Yun really about to walk away, Prince Adrian panicked and grabbed her wrist. "Yingniang, hear me out!"

Wendy Yun saw Prince Adrian ignore her and refuse to let go of Zara Yun, and her anger flared even hotter.

Wendy Yun had been spoiled since she was little, always getting what she wanted—even stealing someone else's fiancé. When had she ever been treated like this?

Desperate, Wendy Yun rushed forward and grabbed Prince Adrian's arm, crying out, "Prince Adrian, don't let that woman fool you! She's obviously trying to stir up trouble between us. We're about to get married—if word gets out..."

"So what if they do?" Prince Adrian suddenly cut Wendy Yun off. "Do I need your permission to take a woman?"

That one line left Wendy Yun speechless.

Standing off to the side, Zara Yun watched Wendy Yun's face grow darker and couldn't help but let a tiny smirk slip through.

Karma really does come around.

Wendy Yun, feeling good? Surprised?

Prince Adrian glared coldly at Wendy Yun. "Being my woman is already the highest honor you could ask for! Wendy Yun, don't risk Yun Manor's future on your little games!"

Wendy Yun's face turned even paler. She instantly let go and dropped to her knees. "I wouldn't dare! Please forgive me, Prince Adrian!"

"Go back. If you cause trouble here again, this marriage is off." Prince Adrian continued coldly, "Yun Manor doesn't have only one daughter."

Suddenly, Wendy Yun remembered that Yun Manor had another daughter—Lana Yun, just fourteen years old.

Could that little brat have caught Prince Adrian's eye while she wasn't looking?

No way, she had to get back and find out the truth!
