Two Dragons of Ice and Fire

The Timewheel Bracelet only rewinds time for ten seconds, but Evan Chu memorized everything. As the bracelet's glow faded, a set of instructions appeared in Evan's mind.

Like a storage ring, the Timewheel Bracelet can be activated with divine sense, but it has a strict time limit—only once per day. After each use, you must inject Stellar Power into it, or it can't be used again.

Evan Chu fastened it onto his wrist. It looked a bit odd, but as long as his sleeves were long, no one would notice—and even if someone saw it, almost nobody would recognize this heaven-defying Timewheel Bracelet.

"Evan, did you memorize all the coordinates and the method to break the restriction?" Luna asked.

"Yeah, I've got it all. Should we break the restriction right now?" Evan was getting impatient.

"No rush. This restriction can only be broken at night. First, find the places matching the coordinates you memorized. That'll take some time," Luna said.

Evan then called Jenny Sima and the others back. The distribution of coordinates was simple: within a fifty-meter radius, there were five spots arranged in a pentagram.

Evan said, "The restriction is built from energy stones at five points. If we destroy them, the seal will break and the real entrance will appear.

Now, let's each search for a point. Once you find one, stay there. We have four people, and I'll call Shadow out soon to make five. But when it's time to destroy the stones, we all have to strike at the exact same moment—otherwise, the restriction won't break. Don't forget that!"

Evan explained everything in detail. Everyone understood, but they still wondered how he knew about these spots and found it strange.

Evan spent ten minutes finding the first spot among some scattered rocks, and had Goldwing stand there.

The second spot took nearly half an hour to find, set on a patch of grass. Evan had Jenny Sima stand at that one.

The third took even longer—over an hour. Macy, the Violet Thunder Fox, stood at that point.

For the last two, Evan called Shadow out and explained the plan. After two more hours, Shadow was stationed at one of them.

The final spot didn't take long—just half an hour or so. It was blocked by a huge tree, so Evan chopped it down and took his place.

Once everything was ready, Evan didn't order everyone to attack yet. Instead, he had them quietly wait for nightfall.

They waited half a day, which made everyone a bit speechless. But seeing Evan standing there himself, no one complained much.

Time passed slowly, and darkness finally covered the land. When the first beam of moonlight appeared, Evan spoke: "Everyone, attack the spot one meter in front of you. An energy stone will appear soon—don't hit the wrong place!"

Immediately, everyone swung their swords and fists, striking hard at the ground one meter ahead.

Shadow's attack was the funniest—he used his mouth to suck at the spot, swallowing a bunch of dirt and rocks. But his method was the fastest, and he was the first to get the energy stone out.

Evan was second to finish, while Jenny Sima was last—her cultivation was the weakest.

Everyone stared at the energy stone in front of them. Each was a half-meter-long white pillar, glowing faintly in the moonlight. The energy ripples were obvious to all.

"Evan, have everyone inject Stellar Power into the white jade pillar. When it stops glowing, stop. Then, attack together. Only at night can you see the pillar's light." Luna instructed.

The white jade pillar was made from White Radiance Stone, which contains energy like Starstones—called moon power, or moon energy. But moon power condenses into ordinary jade when exposed to strong Stellar Power. That's why you need to inject it first.

Moon power can only be used to set up restrictions as energy stones; it can't be absorbed for cultivation. That's why few people know its properties." Luna explained carefully, worried Evan might make a mistake.

Evan relayed Luna's instructions word for word, and everyone began injecting Stellar Power into their white jade pillars.

Jenny Sima was, as expected, the last to finish. Once everyone was done, Evan said, "On my count of three, destroy the white jade pillars together. They're ordinary stone now—any hit will break them, but the timing has to be exact."

"Got it!" the four replied in unison.

Evan nodded, then called out, "One, two, three!" All five attacked their white jade pillars at once—a thunderous boom echoed across the cliff.

With the five white jade pillars destroyed, a violent tremor shook the ground. Evan and the others retreated as a red pentagram appeared in midair, hovered for about five seconds, then shot into the opposite cliff and vanished.

After the pentagram vanished, a rumbling sound echoed from the cliff once more. Then, a gigantic stone gate appeared before Evan and the others.

"Boss, could this stone gate be a teleportation portal?" Goldwing couldn't help but ask first.

"Probably not yet. I think the portal will only appear after we get the Ice Crystal inside. The gate's interior must be extremely dangerous, so I suggest you all stay here and let me go in alone," Evan said.

"No way. No matter how dangerous it is, we're going in with you. Besides, the earth-fire and Glacial Coldflame inside might be deadly, but for Shadow, that's rare food. What are you worried about?" Jenny Sima retorted.

Evan looked at their determined eyes, shining bright even in the night.

"Alright, but everyone needs to be careful. Let's open the gate first." Evan said, walking straight to the massive stone door.

The stone gate had two colors—red and white—with five stone holes on each side. Evan studied it and thought, "It must need energy crystals to open, but which kind?"

"Use your Ice Crystals and Fire Crystals. Put Ice Crystals in the white side and Fire Crystals in the red side. Evan, you're getting dumber," Luna immediately reminded him.

Evan took out his Ice Crystals and Fire Crystals, placed them as instructed, and the stone gate rose on its own, stopping when it was one person high.

"Let's go!" Evan said, stepping inside first. As he looked ahead, a gigantic fire dragon and an equally massive ice dragon glared at him, eyes full of menace...
