Lana Situ and the others were currently thrown into the Ice Palace, and not only that, there were some powerful snow beasts guarding them.
"Alliance Leader, what should we do now?" asked a Spirit-Wandering cultivator.
"They forced us here, but I don't know what they want," Lana Situ said suspiciously.
"What do you think? It's already clear—anyone who submits to them can leave, just like these snow beasts did," someone said.
"Submit? That's something only animals would do. I swear to follow the Alliance Leader to the death," an elder snorted coldly.
The rest naturally followed the Alliance Leader. Suddenly, a man walked out from the snow beast crowd, sneering, "So, what have you all decided?"
"Three Snow Eccentrics, you're shameless—actually teaming up with outsiders to trick us here," Lana Situ snorted coldly.
"Miss Situ, you're just a little girl, shouldn't you stay home instead of playing Alliance Leader? Still dreaming of defeating the big shots? Let me tell you, any one of their subordinates could crush you all." As a member of the Three Snow Eccentrics, he never got along with the group, and was willing to betray them for the outsiders' trust.
"We regret ever joining up with you Three Snow Eccentrics," Lana Situ snorted coldly.
"Regret won't help you now. You'd better worry about yourselves. Don't follow her lead, or you'll just be waiting for death," the fat man sneered.
"We're nothing like you. Hmph," someone snorted, and the others agreed.
"So be it, then stay here and wait to get chopped up. Plenty have already died—you know that. Ungrateful fools," the fat man snorted.
He turned to leave, but as he spun around, he saw something unbelievable: a man appeared before him—a man he'd recognize even if he were ashes. The three brothers had all been ruined by him.
"Here to join the fun too?" the fat man sneered.
The fat man's words drew attention from the crowd. When they saw Evan Yang, some who knew him showed shocked expressions—especially Lana Situ, who was overjoyed. She hadn't expected to see Evan after all these years.
After all, Evan Yang had disappeared for nearly a thousand years. Lana Situ had stayed in the Northsource Region, inheriting her master's mantle, but she still remembered Evan far away in the Eastern Continent.
The surrounding snow beasts saw someone arrive and swarmed forward. In their minds, Evan Yang held a special place—he had once stolen their treasure.
It was the Spirit-Draining Box Evan used, able to collect spiritual power and instantly recharge. Seeing Evan now, the snow beasts were desperate to subdue or kill him.
"It's you, damn human!" a snow beast roared.
Seeing the situation, Evan Yang smiled. "Three Snow Eccentrics? You're still alive? Good. Where are the other two? Last time I only destroyed your clones."
Mentioning clones made the fat man furious. Back then, of the three, two were crippled and killed by the beast horde, and the last one was thrown by Evan Yang into the beasts during an aerial fight, leaving all three ruined.
"Damn it, everyone, get him—kill him!" the fat man snorted.
The other snow beasts had been itching for a fight, so they quickly formed up to take down Evan Yang.
Evan Yang smiled helplessly. "You guys really don't care about your lives?"
"Kid, what's with the arrogance? Everyone, go—don't be afraid!" the fat man scoffed.
A few of the restless snow beasts charged forward, but with a wave of Evan Yang's hand, they collapsed, reverting to beast form and barely clinging to life.
"What—" Everyone was shocked. Even the snow beasts were stunned, as if seeing a monster, and retreated in terror, not daring to approach.
The fat man couldn't believe his eyes and muttered inwardly, "Could he have the same freakish strength as those people?"
He hurriedly took out a Transmission Stone and shakily sent a message. After finishing, Evan Yang smiled, "Well? Did you tell them?"
"That's right, you're dead. You may be strong now, but in front of them you're nothing," the fat man said angrily.
"Well, you're going to be disappointed. Just stay over there for now." With that, Evan Yang sealed the fat man who was about to speak and tossed him aside, then went to where Lana Situ and the others were trapped. All around was ice—the ice had formed an independent space, enclosing everyone inside.
Not only that, it was an ice array. Evan Yang smiled, "So it's an ice array."
Lana Situ asked from inside, "Why did you come?"
"I heard the Alliance Leader of Northsource Region was here, so I came to take a look—and deal with those people while I'm at it," Evan Yang said.
Evan's words made everyone feel his tone was too bold. They knew firsthand how powerful those people were—even combined, Lana's group wasn't a match. This time they'd risked everything, only to be lured here by the Three Snow Eccentrics and trapped by an ice array.
"You—" Lana Situ didn't know what to say, and the others looked at Evan Yang curiously.
Evan Yang smiled, "Step back, all of you."
Everyone did as Evan said and stepped back. Once they were all behind him, Evan punched the barrier, instantly shattering the ice. Everyone was shocked—how much power did that take? They had combined their strength countless times and couldn't break it.
So when everyone emerged, they all looked at Evan Yang with newfound respect.
Lana Situ slowly walked over. "Your strength..."
"I'll explain later—let's get out first, they're coming," Evan Yang said. He turned and led everyone away, while the remaining snow beasts watched in terror. The fat man was grabbed by someone—no way they'd let him just sit there.
At that moment, the fat man was utterly depressed, unable to move, desperately hoping those big shots would rescue him.
When Evan Yang and the others reached the exit, he saw a group—clearly from Sevenmile Peak, with the other two members of the Three Snow Eccentrics beside them.
"Who are you?" a Sevenmile Peak disciple asked Evan Yang.
"Which peak of Sevenmile Peak are you from?" Evan Yang asked.
