"First Peak Lord of Sevenmile Peak, do as I say. Otherwise, you know what the consequences will be." Evan Yang said.
"You—whoever you are—think you can capture me? No way!" The First Peak Lord shouted angrily, planning to escape, but before he could use Flash Step, Evan Yang subdued him.
"You actually tried to run? Hmph." Evan Yang snorted coldly.
Finding himself completely immobilized, the First Peak Lord cried out in fear, "What do you want?"
Watching from the side, Lana Situ was stunned. The man before them, who they thought was unbeatable, had just been subdued by Evan Yang.
"What happened to the original people in this cave?" Evan Yang wanted to know if Mad Wolf and the others were safe.
"They're hiding in another cave. That place can't be entered," the First Peak Lord replied.
Evan Yang asked suspiciously, "Which cave?"
So the First Peak Lord told Evan Yang where Mad Wolf was hiding. It turned out Mad Wolf was at the Snow Wraith's place—the same person who once taught Evan a strange restriction.
Evan Yang directly took the First Peak Lord and left that cave, heading for the Snow Wraith's location. Outside the cave, Evan inspected the restriction—it was still effective. Lana Situ and the First Peak Lord couldn't enter, so Evan had to leave the First Peak Lord outside and said to Lana, "He can't move now. Watch him. I'm going inside."
"Alright." Lana Situ replied.
Evan Yang strode inside. The First Peak Lord could only stare at Evan's back, secretly shocked: "How can he enter so easily?"
The First Peak Lord had no idea that Evan Yang wasn't afraid of this restriction at all. As Evan entered, before he reached the deepest part, voices from inside began to speak.
The Snow Wraith said, "A familiar person has arrived."
At the same time, Mad Wolf's curious voice sounded: "Who can come and go so freely?"
"Take a guess," the Snow Wraith said with a smile.
The woman beside Mad Wolf thought for a moment. "I've got it—it must be Brother Yang! He's the only one who can come and go here freely."
"You're the clever one," the Snow Wraith laughed.
The woman was overjoyed and rushed out, with Mad Wolf close behind. The Snow Wraith remained in the Ice Coffin.
Sure enough, when they saw Evan Yang's silhouette ahead, the woman exclaimed excitedly, "Brother Yang, you're here!"
After so many years, Evan Yang had met countless people, but he had never forgotten those from the past. Seeing that they were all safe, he smiled and said, "I thought something had happened to you."
"No, Aunt Snow helped us," the woman replied with a smile.
Evan Yang smiled, "Luckily the restriction outside can't be broken. Otherwise, we'd be in trouble."
At that moment, Mad Wolf felt an instinctive fear. He didn't know why, but seeing Evan Yang triggered a primal sense of dread, as if it was inborn.
Noticing Mad Wolf's reaction, Evan Yang withdrew his aura and smiled apologetically. "Sorry about that."
Mad Wolf gave an awkward smile. "Our race is naturally afraid of overwhelming power—the stronger someone is, the more intense the fear. Your cultivation must be terrifying now. I remember when you were just a little junior."
The Snow Wraith laughed from inside the coffin, "Don't just chat, I'm still in here."
Evan Yang smiled, "Let's go inside."
With Mad Wolf and the woman by his side, Evan Yang entered the area beside the Ice Coffin.
The Snow Wraith laughed, "Is it fun outside?"
Evan Yang answered, "The outside is fun, but it's dangerous too. For example, these people—they're outsiders."
The Snow Wraith nodded, "They're truly terrifying." She had witnessed the power of the First Peak Lord and others; if not for her restriction, they would have broken in already.
Evan Yang was curious how her restriction could be so powerful, able to block the First Peak Lord. After all, the Snow Wraith's cultivation was Spirit-Wandering Realm, which wouldn't be enough outside. He asked, "How did you stop him?"
The woman beside her said sadly, "Aunt Snow is using her own cultivation to sustain it now."
The Snow Wraith smiled, "My lifespan is almost up anyway. If I can save people, I'm already happy."
Evan Yang had known before that the Snow Wraith hid in the Ice Coffin because her body was aging. Now, she was using her last strength to keep the restriction going; otherwise, just setting up a restriction wouldn't be enough to resist the First Peak Lord's attacks for long.
"Here, take these five pills," Evan Yang said, handing them over.
"What are these?" the Snow Wraith asked curiously. The other two also looked at Evan Yang in surprise.
"They're Ten-Thousand-Year Lifespan Pills. You can take up to five. Swallow them, and you'll gain fifty thousand more years of life. If your cultivation advances in that time, things will change naturally," Evan Yang explained.
This Lifespan Pill was a true lifesaver. The Snow Wraith had never dreamed she could keep living—she asked in delight, "Where did you get this? It must be precious, right?"
