No Time

Sunny Sun clenched his fist, but before he could swing at the boy in front of him,

Seeing Sunny Sun's movement, Rachel Liu's expression changed slightly, but she didn't have time to intervene.

The students nearby all wore expressions of eager anticipation, as if waiting for a good show.

They were all waiting for Sunny Sun and Evan Lin—the kid who looked way too confident—to finally get knocked down a peg.

But not far off—

A beautiful girl in branded sportswear was sprinting over.

Her looks were stunning, her outfit all designer brands. Just the bracelet on her wrist cost tens of thousands, and those sparkling diamonds glinted fiercely in the sunlight.

Even more dazzling, though, was her identity.

"Get out of my way!"

She rushed straight up, shoved Sunny Sun aside, and glared at him angrily. "Which department are you from? What, trying to start a fight?"

"Are you nuts? Or do you just not want to study anymore? If you don't, then drop out!"

The girl who ran over spoke in a chilling voice.

Harsh, arrogant, and even more domineering.

"It's Faye Zheng!"

Someone couldn't help but cry out when they saw her face.

And the Oceanport Zheng Clan? To Sunny Sun, they're an absolute powerhouse.

"Ever since a while ago, the Oceanport Zheng Clan has gotten insanely powerful—their family's strength has skyrocketed, and their influence keeps growing!"

The whole Zheng family has basically shot up in power thanks to Evan Lin.

Those who knew Faye Zheng well instantly looked anxious.

They stared at Faye Zheng, not just admiring her looks, but more awed and heated by her identity.

The Oceanport Zheng Clan.

Before this, Faye Zheng never had the clout to make someone drop out.

But times have changed.

Now, Faye Zheng really does have the power to force someone out of school.

"Y‑You—what gives you the right to kick me out?"

Sunny Sun's face flushed red. Being publicly shut down by Faye Zheng made him lose all his face.

"Believe it or not, one phone call from me and you're out of here for good."

Faye Zheng pulled out her phone and spoke coldly: "Inciting trouble, about to hit someone—just that alone is enough!"

Sunny Sun's face went pale, then green.

He was frozen in place, unable to move after Faye Zheng's words.

"Apologize!"

Faye Zheng shouted at him.

"Sorry..."

Sunny Sun lowered his head, sounding unwilling, but honestly too scared to mess with her.

He's not stupid—Faye Zheng really means what she says.

And the Oceanport Zheng Clan? To Sunny Sun, that's basically a giant.

He just couldn't figure out why Faye Zheng was suddenly picking a fight with him.

"Not to me—to him!"

Faye Zheng stepped aside, revealing Evan Lin behind her.

Him!

Hearing Faye Zheng speak, Sunny Sun, who'd just relaxed his fist, suddenly clenched it again, burning with frustration.

He looked up at Evan Lin standing in front of him, eyes full of anger and resentment.

"Whoa, who is this guy anyway? Not only did Rachel Liu invite him to dinner, but Faye Zheng is sticking up for him too!" someone blurted out in shock.

"Is he Faye Zheng's boyfriend? Faye's never dated anyone all these years—don't tell me it's because of him?" a girl guessed, eyes wide.

"Both Rachel Liu and Faye Zheng are into this guy? What's so great about him, anyway?" another student muttered, totally baffled.

The crowd erupted into gossip, and more people shot sympathetic looks at Sunny Sun.

First Rachel Liu roasted him, then Faye Zheng forced him to apologize—Sunny Sun's face was wiped out today.

And the worst part? He couldn't even fight back. If he really pissed off Faye Zheng, he'd be out of school tomorrow.

That fallout was way more than he could handle.

"Sorry!"

Sunny Sun gritted his teeth and bowed to Evan Lin.

But Evan Lin didn't even glance at him—instead, he turned to Faye Zheng.

That move made Sunny Sun wish he could just disappear.

But Faye Zheng's attitude toward Evan Lin was totally different. The once‑proud heiress now spoke softly and carefully.

"I just got out of class and saw you here. Sunny Sun was about to hit you—want me to call and have him expelled right now?"

Hearing Faye Zheng's words, Sunny Sun broke out in a cold sweat, completely stunned.

"No need to waste time on people like him," Evan Lin said, shaking his head.

He said it so bluntly.

"You can leave now," Faye Zheng told Sunny Sun, her brows furrowed, clearly annoyed but respecting Evan Lin's decision.

Hearing Faye Zheng, Sunny Sun didn't dare linger another second—not even look at Evan Lin or Rachel Liu.

He was terrified—not just of getting expelled, but of the Zheng family's power.

If the Zhengs came after his family, that would be a total disaster for Sunny Sun.

Watching Sunny Sun bolt like a scared wolf, the onlookers couldn't help but sigh—what a day.

Now, everyone's attention snapped right back to Rachel Liu and Faye Zheng.

It was obvious.

Whether it was Faye Zheng or Rachel Liu, both girls were laser-focused on Evan Lin.

But the crowd couldn't figure out what the relationship was between these three.

Are they rivals in love?

Or is it something else entirely?

Either way, any guy who can have both Rachel Liu and Faye Zheng fighting over him can't be ordinary.

"Dinner? Forget it. No time," Evan Lin replied coolly.

Evan Lin glanced at Rachel Liu, finally answering her earlier invitation.

Rachel Liu opened her mouth, eyes dim, then nodded. "Call me when you're free."

Her words sent the crowd into a frenzy.

Rachel Liu was lowering herself so much, it almost made Evan Lin look ungrateful.

"Do you have plans later?"

Beside him, Faye Zheng suddenly seemed to remember something and turned to Evan Lin.

"What's up?"

Facing Faye Zheng's gaze, Evan Lin looked at her.

"Could you come home with me for a bit?"

"Grandpa and Grandma really miss you. And, well, there's some trouble at home right now."

As she spoke, Faye Zheng couldn't hide her worry.

But her words sparked another round of gossip among the crowd.
