Sylvia...

Amid Rachel Lan's desperate scream, Sylvia Blue had already leapt forward. She crouched, gripping the Wish Prayer in a reverse hold with her right hand, while the Dawn Moon in her left had already fired.

Two sharp cracks—one blue, one silver—burst from the Dawn Moon, bullets streaking through the air like twin meteors with trailing tails, weaving together as they shot toward the roaring Curse Titan in the distance.

The Curse Titan swung its two powerful arms, closing in on Sylvia. I watched silently as a silvery light enveloped her, a smile curling at the corner of her lips.

With a deafening boom, the two bullets struck the Curse Titan's palms—one blue, one silver—erupting into fierce explosions of light. In a flash, Sylvia darted through the giant's hands, arriving right before its face. She quickly holstered the Dawn Moon at her waist and, without hesitation, kicked the Titan square on the forehead.

A thunderous impact sent a shimmering silver halo rippling through the air. The Curse Titan roared in fury, its massive body slowly tilting backward.

Violent turbulence instantly turned the black sea into a raging tempest, dark waters surging high. With a fierce shout, Sylvia leapt up, gripping the Wish Prayer in both hands, and drove it down toward the fallen Titan's head.

"So strong."

I was stunned. That Curse Titan was a high-density curse power entity, possessing unmatched strength. If it ever reached the Devouring Woods, this place would be destroyed in an instant.

A crackling noise echoed as the Curse Titan let out a tremendous wail. My eyes widened—fractures spread from its forehead across its body, each split radiating intense silver light.

With a whoosh, Sylvia Blue leapt into the air, performing a graceful flip before gripping the Wish Prayer and standing midair, facing the crumbling Curse Titan.

The Curse Titan was nearly collapsed atop the black Curse Power Sea, its body beginning to decompose. Bursts of black curse power crashed into the water, sending wave after wave surging toward us, roaring as the impact sent the waves climbing halfway up the Timber Rampart.

"Don't worry, this guy isn't too strong. I haven't had a workout in ages, hehe."

Sylvia Blue turned her head, flashing a confident smile.

"Watch out below."

I shouted as, at the moment the Curse Titan hit the water, its wounds instantly healed. Its blood-red eyes locked onto Sylvia Blue in midair, and its arms suddenly lashed out.

With two thunderous blasts, giant spheres of curse power shot up toward Sylvia Blue, reaching her feet in an instant.

Sylvia Blue instantly reacted, gripping the Dawn Moon and firing two shots. Silver-blue bullets struck the black curse power streams, triggering violent explosions that sent shockwaves in all directions.

I held Rachel Lan tightly. My feet transformed into roots, anchoring into the Timber Rampart as my body changed, vines wrapping around Rachel to shield her.

Sylvia...

I shouted as the Shadow Giant on the water leapt up, its fist punching through the explosion. With a thunderous crash, the world seemed to reel from the impact, and a huge depression formed in the black sea below.

The thick black clouds overhead were pierced, and sunlight briefly shone over the black sea. The Shadow Giant struck, landing a solid blow on Sylvia Blue's Wish Prayer as she braced herself.

Blood trickled from Sylvia Blue's lips as the raging power whipped her hair. She continued to resist the wild, overwhelming force.

My worry grew. The robots on the Timber Rampart had all retreated, and it was a miracle none had been blown away.

Sylvia...

I shouted as Sylvia Blue roared, swinging the Wish Prayer to the right. With a boom, her body was tossed about in the chaotic currents like a dead leaf in a storm.

The Shadow Giant stumbled to the right. Sylvia Blue's body was covered in wounds from the wind, her clothes tattered and blood staining her cheeks.

Yet the Shadow Giant was incredibly agile, flipping in the air and landing upright before swinging its massive fists at Sylvia Blue again.

Trembling, my heart pounding, I held Rachel Lan close. She was anxious, but there was nothing we could do to help.

With a crash, Sylvia Blue dodged the Shadow Giant's fist in midair, but the currents swept her off balance and she could barely control her movements.

The Shadow Giant roared in fury, swinging its fist at Sylvia Blue once more.

Sylvia Blue steadied herself in midair, dodged the giant's fist, landed on its arm, and sprinted up to its shoulder, gripping the Wish Prayer.

With a flash of silver, a sword light swept past, and a silver line appeared on the giant's neck. With a thunderous boom, the giant's head was sent flying.

A massive silver sword light shot skyward, pushing aside the thick black clouds and bathing the world in sunlight.

With the giant decapitated, Sylvia Blue lightly stepped off its shoulder, leaping gracefully as the body toppled toward the water.

With a crack, Sylvia Blue drew the Dawn Moon, aiming at the fallen giant. She steadied the handgun with her left hand, finger on the trigger, as the silver glow faded and a black mist began to seep out.

With a bang, a black bullet shot out. As it struck the giant's body, a wave of darkness seemed to swallow the world, eclipsing even the sunlight.

The world fell silent. The Shadow Giant's body vanished, leaving only a massive, bottomless pit in the sea.

I swallowed and released the Azure Dragon's Power. Rachel Lan ran to the edge of the Timber Rampart as Sylvia Blue remained in the air, gasping for breath, looking exhausted.

Color returned to the world, and only then did we see it clearly—the black curse power streams around the massive pit seemed to freeze in place.

With a crash, the giant's head fell from the sky. Sylvia Blue spun the Dawn Moon, holstered it, drew the Wish Prayer, and bent toward the giant's head. A flash of silver light followed.

As the light in the sky faded with the closing clouds, the giant's head exploded with a bang—shattered into countless fragments by Sylvia Blue's strike. I couldn't even see how she attacked.

The black curse power in the air seemed to burn away, slowly dispersing.

Suddenly, a gust of wind swept by, pulling the scattered curse power toward a spot opposite Sylvia Blue, where it condensed into a humanoid form.

"You shouldn't have interfered, little girl."

A deep, resonant voice echoed, as if coming from every corner of the world.

Sylvia Blue said nothing, wiping blood from her forehead as she stared at the figure before her—the World Will, now human-sized, with long hair and a furious expression.

"Go back to where you belong, little girl. This is not your place to intervene. Everything here has been predetermined—you should know that better than anyone."

Sylvia Blue shook her head slightly, brushed her white hair back, and raised the Wish Prayer, aiming it at the World Will.

"I'm not going anywhere. None of this concerns me—whatever happens to this world is irrelevant. I'm only here to find what I've been searching for these past four years. If you try to stop me, I won't hold back."

After speaking, Sylvia Blue turned, her expression softening as she looked at me and Rachel Lan.

"Can we talk?"

I shouted, but the figure before me only sneered.

"If that's what you want, little girl—so be it."

Suddenly, the figure vanished. Sylvia Blue giggled, but the previously calm sea erupted with towering waves, engulfing her completely.

Sylvia...

I shouted, but the curse power around Sylvia Blue exploded, forming bulges on the water. I floated upward, and on the curse-powered surface below, bulges appeared—then Mimics suddenly emerged.

There was no compromise—the World Will seized Sylvia Blue the moment she relaxed. I stopped; Sylvia Blue's strength was undeniable, but now the most important thing was protecting Rachel Lan.

Qingyuan...

Rachel Lan called out from below. I turned and smiled.

"It's okay, Rachel. Sylvia Blue will be fine, and so will we."

Furious, I looked up at the countless Forsaken appearing in the sky. With a creak, the robots on the Timber Rampart activated.
