Beautiful Faces Are All the Same

1/4/2026

Sean Kim picked an open-style tea shop and ordered a lemon water for Cherry Miller.

As for looks, in the eyes of regular people, he was considered pretty good-looking.

But next to these guys, he was utterly outshined!

And when it came to age, none of them were old either!

They were all at that dangerously attractive age—seriously, it’s lethal!

So, did he have any advantages left?

Nope, not a single advantage left!

Jay Kee secretly swore to himself that he had to hold on tight to Cherry Miller—he absolutely couldn’t let go!

Cherry Miller quickly picked out a few pots of flowers, left her address, and told the shop to deliver them to her home.

Seeing there was still time, Cherry Miller said to Jay Kee, “Take a look around and see if there’s anything else you like. We can order them together and have them sent to the house. I’m going to the restroom for a minute.”

“Okay, I won’t wander off. I’ll just stay nearby.” Jay Kee answered obediently.

Cherry Miller smiled and nodded, then turned to the restroom to touch up her makeup.

Cherry Miller turned on the faucet and carefully washed her fingers, when she heard a voice behind her: “Miss Miller, could we talk for a moment?”

Cherry Miller looked back and saw a man who seemed familiar. “You are?”

“We’ve met once before. My name is Sean Kim, and I have a younger sister named Jenna Kim,” the man said.

Cherry Miller suddenly remembered. “Oh, I remember you! You’re a singer in an underground band.”

“Yeah, that’s me.” Sean Kim noticed someone watching from afar—probably Cherry Miller’s bodyguard—so he added, “Can we go somewhere else to talk?”

“Sure.” Cherry Miller smiled and nodded, already guessing Sean Kim’s reason for seeking her out.

Next to the flower market was a row of little shops—some sold snacks, some had drinks.

The places weren’t fancy, but the prices were reasonable, so lots of people came by.

Sean Kim picked an open-style tea bar and ordered a lemon water for Cherry Miller.

“Thank you.” Cherry Miller nodded. “Just say what’s on your mind. Is this about Jay Kee?”

“Miss Miller, you really are sharp. You always know what I’m about to say. I know I’m being rude, just showing up like this today, but…” Sean Kim hadn’t finished when Jenna Kim rushed over like a gust of wind, blocking Sean in front of Cherry Miller. She said, “Miss Miller, I begged my brother to bring me here. I know you’re a rich heiress, you can have anything you want, and if you want, you could have as many handsome guys as you like. But there’s only one Jay Kee. Could you please let him go?”

Sean Kim got anxious right away. “Didn’t I tell you not to come? How did you get here?”

Jenna Kim’s eyes were red from crying, but she stood her ground, stubborn and unmoving.

Cherry Miller said calmly, “It’s fine, let’s sit down and talk.”

Jenna Kim looked at Cherry Miller with hope in her eyes.

Cherry Miller picked up her lemon water, took a sip, and said lightly, “If I told you I never agreed to anything with Jay Kee, would you believe me?”

Sean Kim and Jenna Kim were both stunned.

“Why?” Jenna Kim asked back, “Jay Kee is so great—why would you reject him?”

Cherry Miller couldn’t help but laugh. “So do you want me to accept him, or reject him?”

“I…” Jenna Kim was stumped by the question.

Sean Kim said, “My sister’s young and doesn’t know how to talk, Miss Miller, please don’t be upset. She’s stubborn and always makes a scene.”

Jenna Kim fell silent.

Cherry Miller said, “I get what you’re saying. Don’t worry, I have no interest in Jay Kee. I know he’s always trying to prove himself, hoping to be someone close to me, but I’ve never felt that way about him—he’s just not my type. Does that make sense? Instead of coming to me, you should talk to Jay Kee directly.”

“We already talked to him.” Sean Kim said quietly, “Jay Kee’s set on you, Miss Miller. No matter what we say…”

“Then I really can’t help.” Cherry Miller said seriously, “If Jay Kee was just dreaming of being my boyfriend, maybe I could crush his hopes and he’d give up. But his goal doesn’t seem to be that. You know what I mean?”

“We get it.” Sean Kim and Jenna Kim said together.

Cherry Miller nodded. “Then the only way to solve this is through Jay Kee himself. If you can convince him to give up on me, I’ll be truly grateful.”

Jenna Kim looked utterly hopeless. “Isn’t there any other way?”

Cherry Miller shook her head. “At least on my end, there’s nothing I can do.”

Sean Kim sighed and said to Jenna Kim, “Forget it, don’t be stubborn. Miss Miller’s already been as sincere as she can.”

Jenna Kim burst into tears, crying her heart out.

She really liked Jay Kee—a deep, bone-level kind of love.

But she still remembered Jay Kee’s rejection from the other day, clear as day.

She’d hoped Cherry Miller might have an idea, but she was just as clueless.

Cherry Miller looked at Jenna Kim with sympathy—talk about loving someone who doesn’t love you back. What a tragedy.

Cherry Miller lowered her gaze and said, “You’re all still young, haven’t been through much yet. Maybe after a while, you—or Jay Kee—will see things clearly and accept reality.”

Jenna Kim wasn’t listening, just ran off crying with her face buried in her hands.

Sean Kim looked embarrassed. “Sorry for barging in today.”

“It’s fine.” Cherry Miller nodded. “You’re young—I get it.”

Cherry Miller put on a wise-old-lady act, which left Sean Kim speechless.

“Could you keep what happened today a secret, Miss Miller?” Sean Kim asked.

“Sure.” Cherry Miller wasn’t one to gossip, so she nodded.

“Thanks.” Sean Kim let out a breath, stood up, and said, “Then I won’t take up any more of your time. Goodbye.”

Cherry Miller nodded slightly.

Not long after Sean Kim left, Jay Kee came rushing over from a distance.

Jay Kee finally relaxed when he saw Cherry Miller. “So you were here. I thought…”

“Thought I got lost?” Cherry Miller teased him.

“Yeah.” Jay Kee put on a goofy look. “Sis Cherry, this place is huge. I was worried you’d get lost.”

Cherry Miller smiled and asked, “Did you pick out all the flowers you liked?”

“Yeah, I picked a few more pots. I’ll take good care of them!” Jay Kee quickly promised.

“Alright, if you’re done, let’s head back.” Cherry Miller stood up and walked out.

Jay Kee responded, but looked around suspiciously. Something felt off, but he couldn’t put his finger on it.

Maybe he was just overthinking it.

On the way back, Cherry Miller didn’t say a word, and Jay Kee was lost in his own thoughts too. So they walked back in total silence.

When they got to the apartment building on Shunjiang Road, Jay Kee suddenly noticed a whole row of expensive sports cars parked by the curb.

The owners of those cars all got out the moment they saw Cherry Miller’s car, their faces lighting up with enthusiastic smiles as they called out, “Sis Cherry!”

Cherry Miller hit the brakes, surprised. “What are you all doing here?”

“We missed you!” they all shouted in unison.

Well, looks like everyone showed up this time.

Jiang Yunchen, Mu Ziyue, Mo Yumo, and Mo Shuo—all four of them stood on the roadside, grinning brightly.

Jay Kee’s heart skipped a beat at the sight!

Four more? Seriously?

Just how many pretty boys does Miss Miller have around her?

And why are they all insanely good-looking?

Why are they all kept by Miss Miller, but none of them are jealous of each other?

This just makes no sense!

Cherry Miller laughed. “Since you’re all here, why aren’t you coming up?”

“Waiting for you!” the four of them replied in unison.

Cherry Miller smiled and nodded at them. “Quit the act—come on, let’s go upstairs.”

A line of sports cars followed Cherry Miller into the complex.

Cherry Miller said to Jay Kee, “Sorry, I have to host some guests today. You should head home on your own.”

“Ah, okay… got it.” Jay Kee got out of the car, looking utterly dejected, and drifted back to his room like a lost soul.

Jay Kee lay on his bed, talking to himself like he was sleepwalking. “Just how many good-looking guys does she have around her? Why are they all insanely handsome? Do I really still have a chance?”

Jay Kee rolled over and started seriously doubting himself.

Meanwhile, Cherry Miller brought Mo Yumo, Mo Shuo, Jiang Yunchen, and Mu Ziyue inside and asked, “You guys aren’t just here to watch the drama, are you?”

“Hehehe, if Shaohuai hadn’t told us, we wouldn’t even know something this fun was going on.” Mo Yumo said, “Sis Cherry, you’re really good at keeping secrets.”

Cherry Miller looked at them helplessly. “You guys! Always stirring up trouble!”

“I can’t wait to see Brother Yuhan’s reaction when he gets back!” Mu Ziyue was the fearless type.

“Me too.”

“Same here!”

“Hehehehehe.”

“Hahahaha.”

The group all laughed mischievously, clearly there to watch the show.

Meanwhile, far away in another country, the much-anticipated Yuhan Yin was having a not-so-great encounter.

At that moment, Yuhan Yin and Gu Miao were walking out of an estate when a car blocked their way.

Gu Miao raised an eyebrow. “Wow, someone’s even blocking you out here! Yuhan, your charm is getting stronger!”

Yuhan Yin impatiently told Kuisheng, “Go around.”

Kuisheng replied, “No way around. This is the only road.”

Gu Miao laughed mischievously. “Looks like you’re stuck seeing them whether you want to or not!”

“Gu Miao, if you keep gloating, should I send a video to Xiao Nuo? Should I tell her you’re just as popular here as I am?” Yuhan Yin shot Gu Miao a threatening look.

Gu Miao immediately touched his nose and said, “I never tattled to Cherry.”

Yuhan Yin impatiently pushed open the car door and said to the person blocking the road, “Miss Casey, what can I do for you?”
