So Ugly, How Will He Find a Wife in the Future

Zhang Wenpo, confident in her midwifery skills, looked down on the young Su Li, who had never given birth before.

At this moment, Wu Caiwei was in so much pain she was about to faint. Su Li didn't want to argue in the delivery room, so she turned to Liu Wenpo and asked, "Midwife Liu, can you manage the delivery alone?"

Zhang Wenpo tried to shout, but Su Li was quicker, grabbing the dirty delivery cloth and stuffing it into Zhang Wenpo's mouth to silence her.

Bai Lu and Su Li threw Zhang Wenpo out the door.

The four men at the door looked on, puzzled, "Why are they throwing the midwife out?"

"Ali, how is Caiwei?" Doctor Wu and Zhang Mu asked anxiously.

Su Li flicked her hair and said, "She's fine, doing well. That midwife was dishonest, so I sent her far away and won't pay her. Don't let her disturb the labor."

After speaking, Su Li immediately returned to the delivery room with Bai Lu.

Zhang Wenpo, furious at not getting paid, jumped up and pulled the delivery cloth from her mouth, ready to storm back and curse in front of the delivery room. But Zhang Mu wouldn't allow her to cause trouble outside his wife's delivery room, so he quickly stuffed the cloth back into her mouth.

Su Li helped Wu Caiwei sit up against the headboard. Wu Caiwei pulled back the swaddling and, with a crying tone, said, "How did I give birth to such an ugly child? Oh, so ugly! How will he ever find a wife?"
