Final Arrangements

1/18/2026

Over the next few days.

Ian Song took Princess Lana and Princess Chloe all around the most interesting places in the Yanhuang Republic.

The two princesses were having so much fun they completely forgot about going back to the Heavenly Court.

They even got hooked on mortal TV dramas—every night after sightseeing, they'd stay up all night binge-watching, especially romance shows.

After a few more days, Ian decided it was time to send the two back to the Heavenly Court.

When she heard this, Princess Lana looked deeply reluctant.

"Lana, Chloe, these are my gifts for you!"

At the farewell, Ian handed each of them a Storage Ring packed with snacks, a few generators and plenty of gasoline, several video projectors, plus over a thousand TV dramas and thousands of movies—more than enough to kill boredom in Heaven.

"Thank you, Young Master Song!"

Both princesses thanked him sincerely.

"Let's go!" Ian waved to the two princesses.

"Young Master Song, will you ever come back to the Heavenly Court?" Princess Lana looked at Ian hopefully.

"Probably not."

Ian shook his head. He didn't have much time left in the mortal world, and once he ascended to the Immortal World, who knew if he'd ever have a chance to return? He could also sense that Lana had feelings for him, but with so many women at home still unresolved, he really didn't dare add any more romantic entanglements.

Hearing this, Princess Lana's face turned gloomy, her eyes filled with deep disappointment.

Finally, she said with a hint of grievance, "Take care, Young Master Song."

"You take care too."

Ian nodded.

He quietly escorted the two princesses to the South Heaven Gate, then left the Heavenly Court.

He returned to Flame City to visit his uncle and aunt.

His uncle's career was going smoothly, and he had a real chance of becoming a provincial governor.

That night, while his uncle and aunt were sound asleep, Ian quietly nourished their bodies with immortal yuan force. Living another hundred or two hundred years would be no problem at all.

The next day, Ian bid farewell to his uncle and aunt and returned to Flame City, where he had a three-hour closed-door discussion with Edward Zhao.

After that, he went to see Fiona Xiang and Shelly Song.

Fiona was also one of his girlfriends, but they hadn't crossed that line yet. Both she and Shelly had started cultivating.

"Fiona, there's something I need to tell you."

Ian then explained that he would soon leave this world—and that he already had many women.

Both Fiona and Shelly were stunned.

"Fiona, are you willing to leave this world with me?"

Finally, Ian looked at Fiona and asked.

After hesitating for a while, Fiona lowered her head and said, "I'm sorry, Ian. I can't leave my parents behind!"

"It's okay!"

His feelings for Fiona weren't extremely deep, so he didn't blame her for her choice.

"Brother, I'm going with you!"

Shelly suddenly spoke up.

Ian stared at her in surprise. "If you leave, what about Uncle and Aunt?"

"I don't care! I just have to go with you!"

Shelly insisted, her beautiful face full of determination.

"How about we at least talk it over with Uncle and Aunt?" Ian suggested after thinking it over.

Shelly replied, "Whether they agree or not, I'm going with you!"

For a moment, Ian was at a loss, then took Shelly to see his uncle and aunt again.

When Ian explained the reason, his uncle and aunt were both shocked.

"Mom, Dad, I want to go to the Immortal World with my brother!"

Shelly spoke in a tone that brooked no argument.

Uncle neither agreed nor disagreed, but asked Ian, "Ayan, can you come back after going to the Immortal World?"

"It's possible, but very difficult," Ian replied after thinking it over.

"No, I don't agree!" Aunt protested loudly.

"Mom, I like my brother. I have to go with him!" Shelly retorted, giving a reason that left Ian completely stunned.

After all, he and Shelly were actually blood relatives.

"What are you saying? Ayan is your brother!" Aunt shouted angrily, raising her hand as if to slap Shelly, but in the end she couldn't bring herself to do it.

Shelly didn't back down at all. "Mom, Dad, I know everything. You adopted me—I'm not actually related to my brother by blood, right?"

Instinctively, Ian looked at his uncle, who nodded, confirming what Shelly said was true.

The next moment, Uncle let out a long sigh. "Children have their own blessings. Since Shelly has made her choice, let her go. Ayan, come to the study with me—I have something to give you."

Puzzled, Ian followed his uncle to the study and received a sandalwood box from him.

"Open it!"

Ian nodded and opened the box, finding an ancient jade pendant inside. Even more astonishing, there was a faint trace of true yuan fluctuation coming from the pendant.

"Uncle, this jade pendant...what is it?"

Ian looked at his uncle in confusion, unable to figure out how he could have such a thing.

Uncle replied, "It was left by your parents. Actually, the car accident really happened, but they didn't die. They went to another world with an immortal!"

"Where did they go?" Ian asked again.

Uncle shook his head. "I don't know either. But with this jade pendant, if your parents ever return to Aquastar, they'll be able to find you. Originally, I planned to tell you the truth after you got married, but now that you're about to go to the Immortal World, I have to give it to you early. Maybe you'll meet them again in the Immortal World."

Holding the jade pendant, Ian felt incredibly conflicted. He had always thought his parents were dead, but now it turned out they'd gone to another world.

He guessed that it wasn't another world, but rather another cultivation planet in this universe.

The universe was so vast, and with only two months left in this world, he simply didn't have time to look for them. But since they were cultivators, as long as they ascended to the Immortal World, there was still a chance to meet again.

So Ian carefully put away the jade pendant.

"By the way, since Shelly insists on going with you, you must take good care of her!" Uncle added.

"Don't worry, Uncle, I will!"

Ian nodded solemnly.

Because Aunt couldn't bear to part with her, Ian left Shelly at the Song family for now, planning to take her with him when he finally left this world. Shelly had no objections to this arrangement.

Before he left, Shelly saw him off downstairs and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Brother, don't ever abandon me. When you leave, remember to come pick me up!"

"Okay!"

Ian nodded, then returned to Flame City. He quietly checked in on Su Meier, and thanks to his secret help, her father's business was thriving and their assets kept growing.

Although Ian had taken Su Meier's body, she hadn't fully accepted him yet, so he didn't show himself. Knowing she was living well, he quietly left.

Next, he visited several of his disciples, sealing the subsequent cultivation techniques in their sea of consciousness. Whenever they reached the required realm, the techniques would activate automatically. He also left them plenty of resources, enough to reach the Integration stage.

Finally, Ian met with the Head of State for another two-hour secret discussion.

After that, Ian visited Shangguan Gaofei and Murong Xinyue, giving them appropriate cultivation techniques and resources as well.

Ian made a number of other arrangements before finally returning to his villa.
