New York Showdown Part One

"Weak, truly weak. The one who once made me sense the taste of death is now so powerless." The supermarket's front entrance exploded in a thunderous crash as The Divine strode in, glowing with neon light. "Come on, don't go down so easily. Let me savor a bit more joy."

Before he finished speaking, several crates of cola flew at The Divine like cannonballs.

Jill Young grabbed a crate in each hand and hurled the colas at supersonic speed. The Divine didn't budge, and the colas exploded mid-air a meter in front of him. Amid the flying foam and fizz, Jill crouched and launched herself in a fierce wrestling tackle, ramming The Divine out the door with a thud.

Whoosh—the torrential rain parted, leaving a hollow gap, and the water on the road split into two towering waves. Bang bang bang, the air rang out as Jill Young's fists landed all over The Divine. With a massive crash, the pavement cracked and sank, and Jill soared into the air, darting into a skyscraper like a shadow.

During those rapid strikes, Jill Young slapped explosive charges all over Big Bare Butt. High blast, high damage, high control, high chaos—these supernatural bombs, courtesy of Eternal Night Holdings Group, stuck to The Divine like cupping therapy.

Crash! The glass on the forty-sixth floor shattered as Jill Young burst inside. At the same time, a violent explosion erupted behind her. Flames shot skyward, and glass from both sides of the street rained down like a monsoon.

There were still plenty of office workers inside. As they stared in shock, Jill Young didn't stop for a second, moving with slick efficiency. Two booms sounded—two skyscraper cannons slammed from ceiling to floor, locking into place.

Buzz—memories of the void surged back like a tidal wave.

With a ghostly voice, the Titan Giant floated in midair, the minor injuries on his body quickly healing in rippling waves.

The moment the Titan Giant appeared, the skyscraper cannons roared to life. The terrifying blasts drowned out the screams, and the employees panicked, running, dodging, crowding, trampling—but Jill Young had no time to care about them now.

Golden light flared. The Titan Giant didn't dodge at all; instead, he spread his arms wide and let the massive shells slam into him. The shells hit, then warped. They lost speed and fell. The skyscraper cannons' ferocious firepower couldn't even scratch him. The Titan Giant basked in the barrage, even closing his eyes with pleasure. Just a few days ago, he had to dodge this kind of firepower. Now? Bring it on! If I dodge, I lose!

"Running out of tricks, huh?"

The Titan Giant opened his eyes and saw Jill Young pulling... a tank turret out of her storage space?! Where did she even get a tank turret? The massive barrel pointed straight at him. No nonsense—Jill fired a real, honest-to-goodness shell.

Boom! The shockwave swept out visibly, and a cross-shaped burst of fire stretched three meters long. The Titan Giant vanished in a blink, and the building across the street erupted in flames. A huge hole punched through from one side to the other, and the Titan Giant tumbled out the far end like a bullet.

"Up to your old tricks again!"

A tank's main gun packs a punch. The Titan Giant floated, steadying himself in midair, a dent of golden light in his chest but not shattered. He jerked his head up, Mystic Eye searching—the building opposite held no sign of Jill Young. He gritted his teeth. "You can't escape!"

But this time, Jill Young didn't run.

She wasn't across from him—she was above.

Jill Young gripped the barrel, the tank turret like a giant frying pan. She swung it in a wide arc, dropping from the sky and slamming it down on The Divine's shiny bald head.

Take this—Jill Young's club!

Crunch—the barrel bent and warped, and the turret bulged out from the impact.

But The Divine held firm!

He staggered, but stayed steady in midair. Grabbing both sides of the turret, metal groaned and twisted, then suddenly shattered. With a crunch, The Divine tore the tank turret apart, his shiny bald head bursting through the wreckage as he roared, "Today I'm going to make you suffer like never before!"

But Jill Young had vanished again.

Whoosh—a faint sound. The Titan Giant looked up to see Jill Young, just like that time in Dubai, gliding through the rain like a hang-glider, speeding off into the distance. In just seconds, she'd already flown out of Manhattan.

"Damn it!!" This woman seemed born with the power to drive people crazy—the Titan Giant felt like he was about to explode.

If you've got fire in your heart, let it out.

"Looking for death? The sky is The Divine's domain!" The Titan Giant spread his right hand, a thick green glow gathering in his palm.

The next moment, a blazing ray of fire shot from the Titan Giant's palm, piercing several kilometers in an instant, aimed straight at Jill Young's back.

"Take this, Old Yang's club!"

In midair, Jill Young twisted like a fighter jet, barely dodging the fiery ray. The next instant, with a crack of thunder, the Titan Giant appeared right in front of her, his massive fist crashing down with earth-shaking force.

But "God" held firm!

But Yang Qi had vanished again.

Whoosh—a faint sound. The giant looked up to see Yang Qi, just like that time in Dubai, gliding through the rain like a hang-glider, speeding off into the distance. In just seconds, she'd already flown out of Manhattan.
