Chapter 806: Transcendent Magical Artifact

Leon’s expression grew grave as he issued a terse command. The Second Elder and the Flame Dragon Warlord immediately sensed the severity of the situation—especially as they both felt the aura of a Sky Rank powerhouse erupting in the distance. Even separated by such a vast expanse, that overwhelming presence left them with a sense of utter helplessness, as if resistance was futile.

Gritting his teeth, Leon cast Flight and sped rapidly toward the source of the disturbance.

He could already see it: a massive floating fragment, upon which lay the Forgefire Clan. At its heart stood a colossal statue, easily over a hundred meters tall—a giant square iron hammer, carved with the emblem of the Forgefire Dwarves.

He could also make out faint traces of Forgefire Dwarf activity—there was no mistaking it, this could only be their clan.

Halfway there, Leon saw that the Forgefire Clan looked as if disaster had struck. Though the settlement hadn’t completely shattered, the ground was now riddled with enormous fissures.

Buildings kept collapsing, cries and roars echoed everywhere—the entire Forgefire Clan was thrown into chaos.

Above the Forgefire Clan, a lone figure hovered in midair. It was none other than Felton.

But now, Felton had shed his former restraint—he looked nothing like the composed archmage from before. Instead, he resembled a crazed, arrogant nobody, throwing his head back and laughing maniacally.

Ripples, visible to the naked eye, surged outward from his body like tides. Around him, elemental energies gathered, transforming into a host of vibrant elemental sprites that danced and cheered in celebration. Elemental activity reached its peak, and above his head, rings upon rings of elemental energy merged into a rainbow.

Sky Rank!

Felton had truly broken through to Sky Rank. Yet Leon's expression grew even darker; the Spellbook of Ages in his left hand suddenly flared with light...

Looking up, Leon saw that above the Forgefire Clan, there were no longer any leaves or branches to block the view—a massive hole, tens of kilometers wide, pierced the sky like a giant well.

Felton’s manic laughter continued. When the quartet of elemental sprites finally dispersed, his aura fully stabilized at Sky Rank.

Then, in the next instant, Felton made a terrifying move.

He waved his hand toward the Forgefire Clan below, and instantly, all the magical elements above the settlement responded to his command.

Vast magical elements surged together, and in just a second or two, they coalesced into an enormous four-colored sphere, four or five hundred meters across—chaotic, explosive energies fused as one.

Then, the elemental sphere plummeted toward the center of the Forgefire Clan.

Leon’s face darkened at once. The dwarves within the Forgefire Clan, seeing the gigantic four-colored sphere, fled in terror toward the outskirts.

Sky Rank—this was the power of Sky Rank!

The sphere crashed irresistibly into the heart of the Forgefire Clan.

Boom...

It was as if the whole world fell silent for a moment. Then, a massive mushroom cloud rose from the Forgefire Clan.

The raging elemental forces formed a storm, spreading madly outward from the center of the Forgefire Clan.

Countless buildings within the Forgefire Clan were instantly reduced to rubble. Herds of livestock and dwarves were swept away like leaves in a storm, flung in all directions by the shockwave—most of the dwarves, torn apart in midair before even hitting the ground.

The massive fragment, dozens of miles wide, began to break apart. A chunk over twenty miles across shattered and plummeted downward.

The remaining fragments, luckily, did not continue to fall. Yet the ground roiled as if a dragon was turning beneath it—mountains collapsed and the earth split open.

Disaster had truly descended upon the Forgefire Clan...

Flames raged, turning the entire Forgefire Clan into a sea of fire. Some dwarves managed to escape, but many more would never leave the settlement again...

A fissure, more than ten meters wide, split the earth, swallowing everything above it. In an instant, the ground snapped shut, crushing all that had fallen inside into fragments.

One moment, the ground was smooth—then it shattered, fragments rising up to form a mountain hundreds of meters tall.

The Forgefire Dwarves who escaped the settlement dared only to look back once the disaster had begun to subside.

The giant hammer statue—symbol of the Forgefire Dwarves’ glory—had vanished. Most of the clan had been reduced to ashes; only some ruins remained, faintly reminiscent of what once was.

One strike!

The Forgefire Clan was destroyed!

The surviving dwarves wept in agony and despair, some kneeling on the ground, others staring up at Felton floating above the ruins.

“Felton, you bastard! Demon! How could you do this?”

“Our chieftain trusted you, treated you like a brother—how could you do this?”

“Demon! You’re a demon! Destroying our Forgefire Clan—you’ll face the wrath of gods and demons!”

“Bastard! Have you forgotten who saved you? Our chieftain trusted you so much, and you repay your benefactor like this? You’re worse than the vilest demon!”

“Kill him! Kill him! This demon destroyed our clan—if we die, we’ll take him with us!”

Suddenly, calamity struck—the land around the Forgefire Clan began to shatter and collapse. Fortunately, the settlement was built atop one of the Tree of Wisdom’s largest branches, sparing it from total destruction.

No one had expected all this to be man-made—Felton himself had destroyed the Forgefire Clan.

The surviving dwarves went completely mad, regardless of strength. They all drew their hammers, and in an instant, countless hammers whistled through the air, hurtling toward Felton.

A trace of lightning flickered on each hammer, but their sheer number caused the lightning to converge. In an instant, all the thunderous hammers fused together, the lightning merging into one.

It was as if a thousand-meter-wide river of lightning appeared in the sky, surging toward Felton with a force that seemed capable of rending the heavens.

Felton laughed heartily, waving his hand casually. Suddenly, a giant hand, over a thousand meters wide, materialized in the sky.

The giant hand swatted at the lightning river as if brushing away flies. Instantly, the blinding blue lightning exploded, the fused thunderous hammers scattered by the immense force, and fragments rained down in another direction.

Yet the giant hand appeared completely unscathed...

“You foolish red-skinned dwarves. Destroy your clan? Ha! You flatter yourselves. You’re not even worth my personal attention. Let me tell you, destroying your clan was nothing but a casual whim.”

But what I want lies beneath your clan. This is simply the easiest method. You fools—looks like you really want to be annihilated, daring to attack me!

Though Felton said this, he showed no sign of anger—on the contrary, he laughed heartily.

The giant hand, over a thousand meters wide, under Felton’s control, descended onto the ruins of the Forgefire Clan. The solid earth crumbled like scattered sand beneath its grip.

The hand gripped the ground fiercely, causing violent tremors. The earth at the center of the Forgefire Clan shattered, and the giant hand plunged deep, pulling out a massive sphere hundreds of meters across.

In Felton’s grasp, the enormous sphere seemed weightless. In the next moment, the hand squeezed hard.

Instantly, the sphere exploded, fragments scattering in all directions. At its center, a point of light appeared out of nowhere.

The fragments dissipated, leaving only a ball of blinding light in the giant hand.

Felton laughed wildly, his face full of ecstasy and triumph.

“It’s here, just as I thought!”

The giant hand, clutching the ball of light, returned to Felton. He seized it, and immediately, terrifying magical waves raged like a storm.

A storm of elemental energy erupted around Felton, spanning thousands of meters. As time passed, the terrifying tempest expanded to cover tens of kilometers, reaching from earth to sky. Everything caught within its grasp was torn to shreds.

From afar, Leon, still flying toward the scene, drew a sharp breath.

Transcendent Magical Artifact!

Damn, it really is a Transcendent Magical Artifact!

Staring at the terrifying display, Leon’s cold sweat had already soaked his back.

Felton’s manic laughter echoed from within the storm. Leon knew Felton was trying to seize control of the Transcendent Magical Artifact.

This was the last chance!

If Felton managed to free his hands—a Sky Rank powerhouse wielding a Transcendent Magical Artifact—there would be no one left in the Divine Demon Realm who could withstand even a single blow from him.

He alone could destroy the Dark Elf and Ashen Orc clans with a mere gesture. Even if everyone, Leon included, joined forces, they wouldn’t last ten seconds!

Escape...

Now, the only option was to escape this Divine Demon Realm.

Leon clutched the Spellbook of Ages, its light now glaringly bright.

Staring at the raging storm, Leon steeled himself, pouring all his focus into the Spellbook of Ages.

The Forgefire Clan had been utterly destroyed. The surviving dwarves fled in terror, the dreadful storm rampaging like a natural disaster—anyone too slow was torn apart by its fury.
