Crimson Bloom

Minister Zhuo looked at her and sneered coldly.

The chill and contempt in his gaze pierced Grace Wan, who shrieked like a lunatic, "Kenneth, do it! Kill those two old relics first!"

Kenneth Lawrence hesitated. "Mother, they're still my grandparents."

"You have to cut all ties with the Zhu Family yourself if you want a new beginning!" Grace Wan pressed. "Do it!"

Kenneth Lawrence was already dazzled by the splendor of the ancient Wan Clan, determined to follow his mother.

Hearing this, it was as if he were possessed—he raised his sword and strode toward the matriarch and the general.

"Wait!" Suddenly, Princess Olivia Gu rushed over.

She woke up groggy this morning, only to find that everyone in the manor had passed out.

Jason Zhuo was nowhere to be found.

Then she stepped outside, intending to find Azure Bird at the Forget-Worry Pavilion, but instead stumbled upon this scene in the garden.

"Aunt Wan?" Princess Olivia Gu called out in shock. "And Mother? What are you doing? What's happened to everyone?"

"Silly girl," Grace Wan chuckled. "They're all out cold because of you!"

"Out cold?" Princess Olivia Gu blinked in confusion. "I didn't do anything!"

Grace Wan pulled a mirror from her sleeve and handed it over.

Princess Olivia Gu, suspicious, opened the mirror and looked— the flower on her forehead had vanished.

Suddenly realizing something, she turned to Dowager Lady Blue Moon in disbelief: "Mother, did you do something to me? What was that flower?"

"That's the Crimson Bloom," Grace Wan replied. "Once it's planted inside you, everyone within two miles gets knocked out by its scent!"

Princess Olivia Gu's face turned pale. "Mother! You actually teamed up with Grace Wan, that venomous witch, and used your own daughter to hurt people?"

"I'm not using you. Have you forgotten our country's hatred and family vendetta?" Dowager Lady Blue Moon said, enunciating each word. "As a princess of Blue Moon Kingdom, this is your duty!"

"No!" Princess Olivia Gu gazed at the people lying on the ground, tears welling in her eyes as she shook her head.

"Kenneth, do it," Grace Wan commanded.

Kenneth Lawrence kept walking toward the matriarch and the general.

Princess Olivia Gu rushed forward to block him.

But Kenneth simply waved his hand, and she crumpled to the ground.

"Stop fighting it," Grace Wan said. "Now that you're the host of the Crimson Bloom, your spiritual power is gone for three days. You can't stop us."

Princess Olivia Gu suddenly yanked a hairpin from her hair and pressed it to her throat. "Mother! Stop them, or I'll die right here in front of you!"

Dowager Lady Blue Moon's face darkened. "Are they more important to you than your mother or your brother?"

"They're just as important as you, Mother. They're my husband's family!"

"Husband's family?" Dowager Lady Blue Moon snapped. "If they die, I'll find you a better marriage!"

"But I love Jason! Without him, I don't want to live!"

"You—" Dowager Lady Blue Moon pointed at her. "How can you be so hopeless!"

"Your Majesty, young people are always tangled up in romance. There's no reasoning with her," Grace Wan said. "Let me handle her."

Dowager Lady Blue Moon nodded.

Grace Wan stepped up to Princess Olivia Gu and tapped her pressure point.

Princess Olivia Gu couldn't move or speak. Tears streamed down her face as guilt and heartbreak overwhelmed her.

Kenneth Lawrence approached the matriarch and the general, sword raised.

"They're your grandparents! The ones who loved you most," Minister Zhuo's voice was icy cold.

Kenneth Lawrence glanced back at Minister Zhuo and declared, "From now on, I have no ties to the Zhu Family! I am one of the Wan Clan!"
