After a brief conversation, Grace got up to say her goodbyes.

Then she told Chu Shi to inform the Spirit Alliance that she wouldn't be leaving the house all day.

By afternoon, everyone in Loyalty Manor—from the highest to the lowest, even the dog by the back gate—had collapsed, completely unconscious.

Kevin Zhuo appeared at the manor gate, hopped over the wall, and opened the main doors.

Outside the gate, two hired Spirit Masters drove a carriage right in.

Three women stepped out of the carriage: Grace Wan, Dowager Lady Blue Moon, and the sickly Wendy Zhu.

Together, they headed inside.

Everywhere they looked, members of the Zhuo family lay sprawled on the ground, out cold.

They even spotted the old Madam and the old General in the garden.

The elderly couple seemed to have been enjoying tea and flowers in the garden, but now they were both flat on the ground.

Maids and servants were scattered everywhere, tea sets smashed all over the ground.

"This drug is amazing! Hahaha!" Dowager Lady Blue Moon laughed. "Everyone in the Zhu family is dead!"

"They're not dead yet!" Grace Wan smirked. "Crimson Bloom isn't toxic! They're just knocked out."

"Oh? So, what's your plan next?" Dowager Lady Blue Moon asked.

"Obviously... kill them!" Grace Wan declared. "I've waited so long for this moment!"

Dowager Lady Blue Moon felt exactly the same.

For Colin Gu, for the Blue Moon Kingdom—she'd been waiting a long time for revenge too!

"Kevin, take those two and bring all the Zhu family's masters here," Grace Wan ordered.

Kevin Zhuo nodded and, with the help of the two hired Spirit Masters, brought all the masters to the garden.

In the Vermilion Kingdom, plenty of underground mercenary groups operate long-term.

They earn big rewards—or whatever they desire—by completing jobs for their employers.

These mercenaries are all highly skilled, battle-hardened Spirit Masters.

Some are even at the Spirit Master realm.

Grace Wan was worried about running into another reckless maniac like Xiao Yan, so she purposely hired two mid-tier Spirit Masters for extra protection today.

The captives were quickly brought over.

Among them were Minister Zhuo, Chloe Zhu, Jason Zhuo, Princess Olivia Gu, and Maya Summers.

Grace Wan took out a pill and gave it to Minister Zhuo.

Soon, he slowly woke up and saw Grace Wan—and the rest of the Zhu family sprawled all over the ground.

"Ah! Grace Wan?" Minister Zhuo gasped, flipping upright. "What happened here?"

Grace Wan smiled and said slowly, "Minister Zhuo, no one can stop what I want to do. Today is the day we settle everything!"

"What did you do to them? Dad! Mom! Chloe!" Minister Zhuo tried to wake them.

But they were all still unconscious, unable to respond at all.

"Stop calling! They've all been knocked out by Crimson Bloom—the king of knockout drugs," Grace Wan said. "Without the antidote, they'll never wake up!"

"You vicious woman! If you want to kill and vent your anger, just kill me! Let them go!" Minister Zhuo shouted.

"If I want to kill and vent my anger, how could killing just you be enough?" Grace Wan laughed. "I want you to watch, one by one, as everyone you care about dies right in front of you!"

Minister Zhuo saw the crazed look in her eyes, looked up at the sky, and took a deep breath. "Back when you were with the Zhu family, my parents treated you well. At least spare them!"

"No way!" Grace Wan snapped. "I want you to feel what it’s like to have your heart cut to pieces!"
