Transformation Technique

What a pity—not killing Felix Ironridge. Joe Di didn’t know Felix was from Voidmount; had he known, he would never have let this guy go.

Killing Felix Ironridge would certainly bring some trouble, but compared to letting Xavier White know he’s arrived in the Dao Domain, such troubles are nothing.

After a moment of regret, Joe Di quickly put the matter aside. No matter what, Felix Ironridge wouldn’t return anytime soon. He would enter Grandridge first.

...

Joe Di regretted not killing Felix Ironridge, but Felix Ironridge was equally remorseful for not discerning Joe Di’s true strength before rashly confronting him. Now, fearing Joe Di would hunt him down, Felix fled Grandridge in panic, not daring to linger another moment.

Though he talked about reporting the incident to the Voidmount Lord, that was just a survival tactic. Small fortresses like Firehorn Ridge are countless under Voidmount’s rule. Felix Ironridge isn’t even the lord of Firehorn Ridge; even if he were, he wouldn’t have the qualification to meet the Voidmount Lord.

Unless the Voidmount Lord himself issues a warrant for Joe Di, Felix Ironridge wouldn’t dare seek an audience over such a trivial matter—unless he’s courting death.

In fact, with Joe Di trapped between realms, Xavier White—the current Voidmount Lord—knew Joe Di couldn’t escape, so he would never issue such a warrant. At this moment, just as Joe Di guessed, Xavier White was holed up in his pseudo-Voidmount, desperately healing and recovering his strength.

...

Five days passed in a flash. Because of the Felix Ironridge incident, Joe Di hadn’t left the Wayfarer’s Inn once. He spent all his time on disguise—without a decent mask, he relied on his own Rule Cycle technique to alter his appearance.
