"Mother Nuwa... Ladyship?"

Tripitaka trembled slightly as he slowly rose to his feet. Looking up, he saw Mother Nuwa's figure, towering like an ancient tree, blocking all the wind and clouds beyond.

The Buddhas in the pavilion halfway up the mountain all froze, stunned into silence. No one spoke a word.

On the distant hillside, the assembled demons all gaped in shock.

In Nuwa Temple, Master Sage Subhuti let out a bitter, helpless chuckle.

Atop the lotus throne, Lord Buddha slowly withdrew his former smile.

In that moment, heaven and earth fell silent.

Who could have predicted Mother Nuwa would intervene? Perhaps only that old fox in Tusita Palace. Lord Lao sighed softly and shook his head in resignation.

"Who are you?"

Mother Nuwa slowly turned her head and saw Damon Six-Ears, his expression hostile.

Tilting his head, Damon Six-Ears hefted his staff, pointing it at Mother Nuwa. "I don't care who you are. Either way, you can't beat me. Stay out of this. Get lost!"

Mother Nuwa smiled at Damon Six-Ears, her gaze slowly shifting to the Monkey lying behind him.

"Is a name really so important?"

"Isn't it? If even my name isn't my own, what meaning does life have?"

"So, you want to fight me over this?"

At that, Damon Six-Ears faltered, momentarily confused. He turned to find that everyone had fallen silent.

The Buddhas in the sky simply ignored it, as if they were following their own assigned roles.

The distant demons only stared blankly; even Marshal Silver and Curtain-Raising General showed no sign of panic—was this newcomer actually on their side?

And then there was Spirit Mountain.

The sound was cut off completely. Was Lord Buddha truly going to remain silent?
