Five Words Descend from the Sky, The Top Eighty Thousand in the Heavenly Ranking (Part 2)

"You better think this through." Not-Husband Bro took another drag from his cigarette, trying hard to calm his nerves. He gazed at Chainsaw Girl with a look both deep and world-weary: "That one’s not your average person."

"Blah blah blah! If she was just some regular nobody, I wouldn’t be going after her!" Chainsaw Girl swung her arms and shot Not-Husband Bro a fierce glare. "Quit worrying about me. What about you, huh? What’s your plan?"

"Me?" Not-Husband Bro shook his head and chuckled. "We’re already here, what do you think I’m gonna do? Of course—" He dusted off an old cowboy hat from who-knows-where, patted his scruffy clothes, bit down on his cigarette, and stood up, radiating a 'screw it, let’s go' vibe. "I’m sticking with you, come hell or high water."

"That’s loyalty!" Chainsaw Girl cracked her knuckles. "If anyone tries to block us, we’ll throw down!"

The helicopter hovered above Evernight Tower, slowly descending onto the rooftop helipad.

"Alright." Luo Yuxi snapped open her eyes and sprang to her feet. "Let’s go!"

Without waiting for the helicopter to land, she leapt straight out of the cabin. A ten-meter drop? Piece of cake for her.

"Let’s roll!" Not-Husband Bro, Chainsaw Girl, and Liu Xiaoying all jumped after her. Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—even Liu Xiaoying, who looked the least combat-ready, landed safely. Clearly, she’s not as helpless as she seems.

Night had fallen. The helipad was ringed with lights, and a dozen special ops guys stood guard around them. Dressed all in black and wearing sunglasses, they looked straight out of The Matrix. The shades did a great job hiding their shocked expressions.

Even though their boss had warned them and they weren’t totally clueless, seeing this supernatural craziness up close still left their mouths dry. The only reason they didn’t scream on the spot was years of hardcore training.

Fortunately, not everyone was knocked off their pedestal like that.

Abo was waiting by the helipad. The little chubby guy had things under control; with Yang Qi back, he felt confident and wasn't fazed at all. Calm and collected, with the poise of a top-tier butler, he greeted everyone: "Welcome to Evernight Group, and welcome to the Chosen Ones’ little family."

Abo was already an old acquaintance. Luo Yuxi smiled and nodded at him, but Chainsaw Girl couldn’t wait any longer: "Are the others here yet? Where’s your lady boss?"

"The others just arrived. As for my boss, she’ll be here to greet you soon," Abo replied confidently. "By the way, my boss prefers to be called ‘Her Majesty.’ Of course, that’s just our internal nickname. You don’t have to, but please show some respect to our host."

"Her Majesty? Ha, I like that! Suits me just fine!" Chainsaw Girl laughed wildly, her wicked eyes glinting. She hefted her chainsaw and strode inside like she was about to start chopping people up—the vibe was so intense that even the regular folks felt it. "Quit dawdling, just take me to her already!"

"This way, please." Abo turned to lead the way, perfectly polite on the surface, but secretly he’d already pressed the alarm button.

Crap, this is trouble! A real wild card just showed up! Weren’t these people supposed to have only met Her Majesty once, from afar? And weren’t they supposed to be Prince’s friends? After the whole Shanghai Massacre, Her Majesty basically saved their lives! So why are they acting like this now?

Is it really just a case of strong personalities clashing? Nah, Glasses Girl gets along with Her Majesty just fine.

No way, Her Majesty can definitely handle her, but I can’t let some loose cannon crash the party! Good thing I saw this coming and already set up a backup plan. Abo shot a look at a hidden camera—Alright, folks, time to show what you’re made of. Quietly keep her in check!

So, Glasses Girl in the control room started making emergency arrangements.

"Ahem, folks, since you’re at Evernight, let me give you a quick tour." So, as Abo led the way, he started showing off like it was a military parade.

The point of a national parade is to intimidate potential troublemakers and avoid a real fight. Violence is the last resort and rarely worth it—better to make people back off than actually throw down. Evernight Group isn’t a country, but flexing works the same way. Besides, Tianyi Group is all about business, so starting a brawl right off the bat isn’t smart—anyone with half a brain knows that, right?

But Chosen Ones are mostly nuts, and Chainsaw Girl is one of the craziest. As Abo showed off Evernight’s muscle, she just didn’t care. Not only was she not impressed, her eyes and attitude got brighter and wilder, like she was charging up her ultimate move in a fighting game.

"This is Evernight’s finance department. Even during this Great Depression, we’ve kept growth above 200 percent. We’re Hong Kong’s top elite family now." Abo looked proud enough to make any entrepreneur drop to their knees.

"Oh." Chainsaw Girl nodded, glanced twice, and lost interest.

Huh, no reaction? Maybe she’s just a brute who doesn’t get what miracle growth means? Time to switch it up!

"This is Evernight’s R&D department. We’re tackling seven major projects and over two hundred smaller ones. Sure, we do business, but at heart we’re a military group, so we love making weapons. See that Night Hawk stealth jet? That’s ours." Abo was proud—how many private companies in the world build fighter jets?

"Hmm." Chainsaw Girl eyed the jet, and her wicked gleam got even wilder.

What, even our military hardware doesn’t faze her? This is bad—she’s gotta be one of those extreme Chosen Ones who think they’re above everyone. No worries, I’ve still got my trump card!

"This here is—"

"Who’s got time for all this chatter? Yuxi, you keep looking—I’m heading in!" Suddenly, Chainsaw Girl bolted off like a bargain-hunting aunt at a supermarket egg sale, leaving everyone in the dust. "Move it, don’t let anyone get ahead! Go go go!"

"Eh? What just happened?" In a blink, Chainsaw Girl was gone. Not-Husband Bro and Liu Xiaoying nodded to Abo and ran after her. Only Luo Yuxi strolled calmly, reassuring Abo, "Don’t worry, it’s nothing. She’s just a little crazy and wants to say hi to an old friend."

"Old friend?" Abo was totally confused.

Meanwhile, as they crossed hall after hall and bridge after bridge, Liu Xiaoying was snapping photos nonstop while running. Chainsaw Girl’s only target was the host waiting in the main event hall.

Up ahead, the grand doors swung open, revealing a lavish, massive hall.

Chainsaw Girl mashed the switch—her chainsaw on her shoulder roared to life, sparks flying everywhere. The color of the sparks was different from Shanghai’s, radiating a wild, savage energy.

"You?" In the center of the hall, someone who’d been sitting calmly suddenly stood up. Big Bro, Paladin, and the ordinary version of Li Yuncong all turned to look. Big Bro and Paladin were baffled, no clue what Chainsaw Girl was up to.

Li Yuncong’s eyes flashed—he suddenly got it. He darted to the center of the hall and shouted, "I knew it, it’s you! But don’t think you’ll get away with this!"

"I don’t know what’s going on, but with tensions this high, I’d better step in." Big Bro and Paladin shrugged at each other, then moved forward to block her.

Big Bro raised his hand, plastered on a big smile, and tried to calm things down: "Hey, everyone, whatever’s up, let’s sit down and talk it out…"

Chainsaw Girl waved her hand: "Xiaoying, go!"

"Yes!" Xiaoying zipped up, raised her camera at Big Bro, and fired off a burst of shots. The flash was blinding, but the adoration in her eyes was even brighter: "Hi! I’m Liu Xiaoying, special reporter for the World Observation Bureau. You’re the super-handsome therapist ‘Wudang Big Bro,’ ranked 1,500 on the Heavenly List, right? I heard you played a key role in the Shanghai incident—total hero! I’ve wanted to interview you forever! Can we do an exclusive?"

"Uh, huh? Ahahaha, well…" Big Bro scratched his head, grinning like an idiot, totally flattered: "No problem, no problem, you’re too kind~~~"

"Nice! ‘Adorable Reporter’s Irresistible Interview’ skill, success!" Whoosh—Chainsaw Girl slipped right past Big Bro’s defense.

Up ahead, Paladin put his hand on his sword hilt and narrowed his eyes, stepping forward. He still didn’t know what was going on, but as Xiao Jingzhe’s envoy, he wasn’t about to let chaos break out.

Ranked in the top 200 of the Heavenly List, Paladin’s eyes sharpened, holy light flaring up around him. After the Shanghai battle, he’d gotten way stronger—no wonder he’s top 200.

Facing such a tough opponent, Chainsaw Girl waved again: "Not-Husband, he’s yours!"

"Sigh…" Not-Husband Bro let out a world-weary sigh, flicked his cigarette away, and swaggered forward. Paladin’s face changed instantly—he watched in horror as Not-Husband Bro reached for his zipper…

Ziiip—the sound of the zipper opening, and Paladin, who’d just been brimming with confidence, instantly broke down. He covered his eyes and shrieked, "NO! NO! oh-my-GO~~~~~D!" retreating in panic.

"Heh, you’re the last one left." Chainsaw Girl swung her chainsaw left and right, charging at Li Yuncong: "Move, move, move, don’t block the way!"

"You think I don’t know what you’re up to? With me here, you’re a million years too early—Transform! Pure Alpha Mode!" Li Yuncong clenched his fists, energy bursting out and shredding his sleeves. Muscles bulged, his tight vest looked like it belonged in a Hong Kong comic, and his face suddenly sported ‘thick brows,’ ‘extra flesh,’ and ‘nonhuman nose bridge’ effects. In a flash, the nerdy guy turned into a comic-book hero.

"Alpha!" Li Yuncong squeezed his right fist, diving bare-handed into a fight with Chainsaw Girl. Sparks flew, wind whipped around them, and Li Yuncong was way stronger than before.

The intense fight made everyone tense up—even Glasses Girl in the control room nearly hit the alarm. But the battle didn’t last long, because the door deep in the hall creaked open and five pale fingers appeared.

In that instant, Chainsaw Girl broke free from Li Yuncong and charged toward the hand.

[That’s right, I can feel it—the unbelievable presence at the end of the hall.]

[That’s right, I see it—that familiar platinum hair, that tall figure slowly walking in from outside.]

[That’s right, I sense it—only a beast with fangs can understand that feeling.]

[Queen? That title—now we’re talking!]

[Ever since Shanghai, I’ve been waiting for this day, every second, every minute!]

[Today, nothing can stop me!]

[I—!]

Chainsaw Girl sprinted, faster than ever before.

[I—!!]

Chainsaw Girl tossed her beloved chainsaw at Li Yuncong just to slow him down for a second.

[I—!!!]

Chainsaw Girl clenched her right fist, veins bulging, face twisted and fanged like a wild beast. She suddenly stopped, bent over more than ninety degrees, and with a deep breath from her gut, roared:

"Queeeeeen! Please let me be your lackey!" Chainsaw Girl looked up, her wicked eyes sparkling like stars—like someone’d turned the high beams on. "I—I’m your number one fangirl!!!"

"Alpha… alpha…!" Li Yuncong cried out, collapsing to the ground. He pounded the floor in regret, tears streaming down his face. "Alpha…"

"Uh…" Still groggy from sleep, Yang Qi stared at the scene, speechless: "What the heck is going on?"
