Qian Shi was overjoyed to see an expert step in to help, and quickly said, "Thank you, senior!"
"No problem." The one who stepped in was none other than Evan Yang. Evan smiled as he spoke.
The giant bat in the sky transformed into a human, glaring angrily at Evan Yang. "Damn it, who are you? How dare you ruin my plans?"
"Me? I specialize in fighting Evil Kings like you. Any force under their banner, I'll destroy." Evan Yang snorted coldly.
"So bold, so arrogant. I want to see what gives you the guts to act this way!" The giant bat snorted coldly.
With that, the giant bat charged at Evan Yang, wanting to settle things in a duel. But as soon as it faced Evan, it was instantly knocked back to its original form, ending up lying on the ground, staring at Evan in terror.
"Which Evil King do you belong to?" Evan Yang asked.
"Duan—Evil King Darren." the giant bat stammered.
"Then I've found the right person. Where is Evil King Darren Duan now?" Evan Yang asked.
"I don't know. All I know is that my superior is Mason Gu." The giant bat replied, trembling with fear.
Hearing it was Mason Gu, Evan Yang immediately thought of the head of the Four Great Evil Souls. He smiled and said, "Take me to him."
The giant bat was stunned when it heard Evan Yang wanted to see Mason Gu, thinking it had misheard. But when Evan repeated himself, the bat snapped back to its senses and hurriedly led Evan away, all the while muttering to itself, "Kid, just follow me. I'll make sure you witness Lord Mason Gu's power."
Before leaving, Evan Yang asked Qian Shi, "Which Saint King do you belong to?"
"Saint King Cheng," Qian Shi replied.
"Can you help me get in touch with him?" Evan Yang asked.
"Usually, he contacts us. We can't reach him directly. There's a Spirit King above me, and only above the Spirit King is the Saint King. If you want to find the Saint King, you have to go through the Spirit King first," Qian Shi explained.
"Alright, then tell your Spirit King that Evan Yang is still alive and will soon come to find your Saint King," Evan Yang said.
After saying this, he left with the bat. Qian Shi muttered, "This guy is kind of weird, but I'd better contact the Spirit King first."
So Qian Shi contacted his Spirit King. The Spirit King had previously participated in the search for Evan Yang, so upon receiving the news, he was overjoyed and immediately passed it up to Saint King Cheng. When Saint King Cheng got the message, he rushed back to the Saint King Divine Hall.
In the Saint King Divine Hall, Saint King Cheng met with the other Saint Kings and brought them the news from outside.
Master Spirit Caller listened and asked skeptically, "Is this true?"
"Yes. One of my Spirit Kings got word from his subordinate that a city near the Purple-Mystic Sea was under attack by a group of forces, but Evan Yang drove them back. However, Evan then left with that group, and we don't know why," Saint King Cheng explained.
Master Spirit Caller replied, "At least it proves he's alive. That's great news. Sooner or later, he'll come find us."
"I'll go tell Gavin White," Saint King May said happily, leaving the hall. Only three Saint Kings remained. Saint King Wood then asked, "How are things on the Evil King side lately?"
"Evil King Darren Duan and Evil King Scorch are attacking with the support of the Twin-Spine Evil Kings. We've had to abandon many areas and shrink our defensive range," Saint King Cheng said.
"If no one stops the Twin-Spine Evil Kings, we won't be able to hold out much longer," Master Spirit Caller said, frowning.
"I've already sent people to look for Saint King Duran, hoping we can find him," Saint King Wood said.
"Do your best. If no one can restrain the Twin-Spine Evil Kings, we'll be in serious trouble," Master Spirit Caller sighed.
Saint King Wood nodded. As for Gavin White, when she learned that Evan Yang was still alive and had appeared, she was so happy she almost burst into tears.
Meanwhile, Evan Yang, accompanied by the bat, arrived at a location. He pointed to a mountain ahead and said, "Mason Gu is on that mountain."
"Alright, got it. You go ahead." Evan Yang said.
"Are you really letting me go?" The bat asked, unable to believe it.
"Go on." Evan Yang repeated. Once he was sure Evan had released him, the bat quickly retreated. When it reappeared, it had already reached the mountain, though it was trembling with fear.
On the mountaintop, Mason Gu was discussing matters with several of his subordinates. Seeing the bat rush in, he frowned, "What's wrong with you? Didn't I tell you to take that city?"
"Master Mason, I..." The bat didn't know how to explain.
Right then, noises sounded outside. Mason and the others raised their eyebrows and walked out, only to find all the hidden sentries and guards around had been wiped out.
"Who dares to be so bold!" Mason shouted angrily.
"Obviously, it's me. Long time no see, Mason." Evan Yang appeared in front of Mason, smiling at him.
Mason was shocked to see Evan Yang. "It's you!"
"Yep, that's right. It's me. Surprised, aren't you?" Evan Yang said with a smile.
"Weren't you taken away by Evil King Darren?" Mason asked, frowning, still not understanding what was happening.
"Yeah, Evil King Darren did take me, and he made me suffer quite a bit. But I should thank him—now I'm here to wipe out all his forces." Evan Yang said with a smile.
"You dare to go against Evil King Darren? Ridiculous! I know you're strong, but you can't catch me like last time. I have plenty of experts here." Mason snorted.
"Oh really? Where are these experts?" Evan Yang asked.
Mason released a spark into the air, but nothing happened. He frowned, "What...?"
"You mean these guys?" Evan Yang tossed more than a dozen people out from his Space Ring. None of them could move—they were the hidden sentries and so-called experts.
"You!" Mason was shocked.
"Alright, enough wasting time. Last time you got lucky and survived, but today you'll end up just like before." With that, Evan Yang flashed to Mason's side. He was far stronger than before and instantly immobilized Mason. The others were startled and wanted to help, but Evan snorted, "Anyone who dares get close will end up just like him."
With that, the others could only shrink back, not daring to move. Evan Yang looked at them and said, "Disband your forces, or you'll all die!"
The group hurriedly used their communication tools to relay orders to their subordinates. After Evan Yang listened to their arrangements, he nodded, "Not bad." Then he sealed them all and tossed them aside, taking Mason with him as he left.
In an instant, all of Mason's forces stopped moving, and some even retreated or went into hiding. Their subordinates were baffled as to why such orders were given.
As for Mason himself, he was furious at being captured by Evan Yang, but there was nothing he could do. Evan smiled and said, "There are still three Evil Souls left. Where are they? Speak."
"I'm not telling you," Mason said stubbornly.
"Not telling? Fine, I'll just kill you right now." Evan Yang snorted coldly and reached out, ready to finish him off.
Seeing this, Mason panicked. "I was wrong!"
"Then talk." Evan Yang said.
"I'll take you to Trent right now." Mason said with frustration. So, with Mason leading the way, Evan Yang arrived at Trent's place.
Outside Trent's camp, there were also strange noises. Curious, Trent and his men came out and, seeing everyone gone, he frowned, "Who's there?"
At that moment, Mason walked out and forced a bitter smile. "It's me."
"You? What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be managing your own place?" Trent asked curiously.
"I told him to come." Evan Yang said with a smile.
When Evan Yang appeared, Trent was shocked and quickly retreated, trying to escape, but was still immobilized by Evan just like before. All his forces either withdrew or went into hiding.
Soon, the forces of Damon and Sam were dealt with as well. All that was left was chaos, and some were even wiped out by Saint King factions.
In a hidden mountain cave, Evil King Darren and Evil King Scorch were discussing how to continue their attack on the lower regions.
"By the way, how's it going on your side?" Evil King Darren asked.
"I've already taken half of Saint King Wood's territory. If I keep going, I'll soon swallow up the rest." Evil King Scorch said with a smile.
"I've almost swallowed half of Saint King Cheng's domain too. It's just a matter of time now." Evil King Darren said with a smile.
Just then, Evil King Scorch received a strange report. He frowned, and seeing this, Evil King Darren asked curiously, "What's wrong?"
"Weird, why have all your forces stopped moving?" Evil King Scorch asked curiously.
"Stopped moving? That's impossible. I haven't received any such report." Evil King Darren replied, puzzled.
"Just now I got a report that Saint King Cheng's power has surged, while your forces suddenly vanished." Evil King Scorch said.
"Impossible. Let me check." Evil King Darren said, not believing it. He tried to contact the Four Great Evil Souls, but got no response. This made him frown. "Strange, what's happened to them?"
"Could it be that the Saint Kings have taken control of them?" Evil King Scorch wondered.
"Impossible. The Saint Kings are being watched by the Lesser Evil Kings. They wouldn't dare approach our forces." Evil King Darren replied.
"That is strange." Evil King Scorch said, frowning.
"I need to go check." Evil King Darren got up and went to his territory, only to find many people missing or disbanded. Furious, he demanded answers, and was told the orders came from above.
Angry, Evil King Darren visited several places under Mason's control, only to find everyone gone or imprisoned. Seeing the seals, he frowned, "Could it be the Madman?"
He thought the Madman was responsible for the imprisonments, but never suspected Evan Yang. Even if he did, he believed it impossible—Evan Yang should be dead in the Purple-Mystic Sea.
"Looks like something weird is going on." Evil King Darren muttered, then left to find Evil King Scorch.
Meanwhile, Evan Yang was in Evil King Scorch's territory, systematically clearing out their forces just as he had with Evil King Darren.
When Evil King Scorch received the news, he was furious, eager to find out who was opposing them.
"You ran into the same thing?" Evil King Darren asked, frowning angrily after hearing Evil King Scorch's report.
