The terrifying power of the Icefire Divine Eye left everyone utterly stunned—even the Sea Dragon Hall Master wore an expression of sheer disbelief. He simply couldn’t believe Evan Lin possessed such a monstrous technique. That kind of attack, even he himself might not be able to withstand it and could easily be seriously injured.

With the Third Elder’s strength, there was no way he could take that blow. Evan’s strike could easily cripple him—or even kill him outright. So much for hiding his true power!

Right now, the Third Elder’s face turned ashen the moment he saw those twin beams shoot out of Evan’s eyes. He’d never faced such overwhelming force before, and dodging was already impossible. All he could do was instinctively raise his sword to block.

How could the Icefire Divine Eye, which could even tear open the barrier of a spatial black hole, be something he could block? Silver Dragon, a late-stage God-Venerable, was trapped in a spatial black hole for tens of millions of years and still couldn’t break free—just imagine how terrifying this attack really was!

Without a doubt, the Third Elder’s body was blasted open with two bowl-sized holes. At the last critical moment, he managed to eject his God Infant, meaning his fleshly body was basically destroyed.

Evan’s strike completely pulverized his internal organs, and even his dantian was shattered. That kind of body was now totally useless—even if he didn’t die, it wouldn’t be worth a thing. His corpse plummeted to the ground with a thunderous crash, kicking up a cloud of dust.

Evan glanced at the furious God Infant of the Third Elder and chuckled, "I’ll let you off this time. But if you still don’t know your place, I can kill your God Infant too! Don’t think a late-stage God-Venerable is anything special—in my eyes, you’re nothing."

Everyone was dumbfounded. An early-stage God-Venerable ant had just destroyed the fleshly body of a peak late-stage powerhouse in a single blow—this was unheard of! Eyes turned to Evan floating in the sky, and all they saw was a monster, a terrifying freak.

Those who’d opposed Evan becoming Vice Hall Master fell silent. In this world where strength is everything, power speaks for itself. Gradually, they accepted Evan in their hearts—even though he had zero interest in the position. The truth was, he just couldn’t stand the Third Elder’s arrogant, bullying ways.

Silver Dragon was all smiles. "That Third Elder was lucky to escape with his God Infant—Young Lord’s power really is unrivaled in the world!"

The Third Elder’s God Infant shot straight down to the ground—he had no desire to really get killed by Evan. Right now, his heart was filled with endless regret, but regret was useless. With his body destroyed, finding a suitable vessel to possess would be nearly impossible, especially for a Sea Dragon.

Unless a Sea Dragon just happened to die and leave a body intact, there was no way to take it over. Otherwise, forcibly seizing a healthy Sea Dragon’s body would make him the enemy of the entire clan—he’d have nowhere to hide in the whole Sea Region.

The Sea Dragon Hall Master glanced at the Third Elder’s God Infant and announced, "Now you all understand why I wanted him as our Vice Hall Master, right? Don’t underestimate an early-stage God-Venerable. That last attack—even I might not be able to withstand it, and if I did, I’d be seriously injured!"

"I admit my mistake, Hall Master. Please forgive me! From now on, I’ll obey the Vice Hall Master’s orders and won’t have any complaints. Losing my body was my own fault—I have no one else to blame!" the Third Elder’s God Infant said.

Evan himself was deeply shocked inside. He hadn’t expected the Icefire Divine Eye to be so overwhelmingly powerful—he’d worried whether it could really cripple his opponent, but clearly that worry was pointless. As long as he unleashed the Icefire Divine Eye, unless the enemy had some heaven-defying divine artifact, there was no way to block it.

Seeing the crowd’s stunned faces below, Evan decided to give them another shock. He’d never wanted to expose his identity, but now there was no point hiding it—since he’d already shown his strongest attack, there was no reason to keep his Primordial Dragon identity secret.

With a single thought, a dragon’s roar erupted from Evan’s mouth. Brilliant golden light burst from his body, dazzling the crowd below until they could barely open their eyes, and a colossal golden dragon appeared in the sky.

The golden dragon had nine massive claws, its body radiating such oppressive draconic might that the crowd below could barely breathe. Many people began to tremble, and some were just a hair’s breadth from falling to their knees.

Evan looked at the crowd’s reactions, completely satisfied. He spoke in a booming voice: "The Third Elder dared to offend this king—he deserved that punishment. Now that my true identity is revealed, I trust there’s no more objections, right?"

As soon as he finished speaking, he changed back into human form. Instantly, everyone—including Silver Dragon and the Sea Dragon Hall Master—dropped to their knees. This was heartfelt worship of the Primordial Dragon King, pure and sincere. In unison, they called out, "Greetings, Primordial Dragon King! Greetings, Primordial Dragon King!"

Evan flashed down in front of the Sea Dragon Hall Master and Silver Dragon. "Everyone, get up—there’s no need to be so formal. But my true identity needs to stay secret for now. I don’t want any unnecessary misunderstandings or trouble before I leave the Sea Region, so just keep calling me Vice Hall Master. Forget about the king stuff for now!"

So everyone stood up, but the Third Elder’s God Infant was overwhelmed with shame. He’d never imagined Evan could be the Dragon Clan’s sovereign, and now he realized he’d offended someone he should never have crossed—he really deserved to die for his arrogance.

He didn’t even know what to say to Evan anymore. By Dragon Clan rules, anyone who disrespected the Primordial Dragon was to be executed without mercy. He couldn’t help but worry about his own life, his gaze full of helplessness.

Evan glanced at the Third Elder’s God Infant and chuckled, "Don’t be afraid—I’m not going to do anything to you. After all, you didn’t know my true identity. If you behave yourself, maybe I’ll help you restore your body. Don’t think just because I’m only early-stage God-Venerable that I can’t do it."

"You honor me too much, King. I was blind and offended you. That you can forgive me and bear no grudge—I’m truly grateful! But now that my body is destroyed, I can’t kneel to you. Please forgive me!" the Third Elder’s God Infant said.

"Don’t blame yourself. Once I’ve taken care of my affairs, I’ll help you recover your body. You’re part of the Dragon Clan too—and making our clan the strongest in the Sea Region is every dragon’s mission," Evan said.

At this, the Sea Dragon Hall Master addressed the crowd. "Now you’ve all witnessed the Vice Hall Master’s strength! I trust there are no more objections. And as for his true identity—honestly, I wanted him to take my place as Hall Master, but he refused, so Vice Hall Master is the compromise.

If anyone dares disrespect the Vice Hall Master again, I might get angry—and you all know what the consequences will be! That’s enough, everyone disperse! I have matters to discuss with the Vice Hall Master!"
