Lily Liang's car followed right behind the stretch Lincoln up ahead.
Along the way, Evan Lin noticed that the most expensive car the Liang family owned was probably that stretch Lincoln in front.
Behind it, most of the cars driven by Lily Liang, Tyson Xiang, and the others were BMWs and Audis.
These luxury cars cruised side by side through intersections, mingling with other high-end vehicles from different lanes, looking like a school of fish flowing together.
Soon after, Evan saw even more stretch Lincolns of the same style appear up ahead.
The Lincolns led the way, with luxury cars following behind.
The whole scene was so imposing that it drew constant glances from people on the roadside.
These cars completely took over entire sections of the street, but even with traffic police around, no one dared step out to stop them.
"Those stretch Lincolns are the cars for each family's head. The Shang family has a huge presence here in Tangshan, and it's only on their biggest days that all the clan heads set out together like this."
"As for the cars we're riding in, they're just for show—window dressing for the Shang family. Looks like they're really out for blood this time."
Lily Liang glanced ahead; the road was blocked, so the cars were naturally moving slow.
In the parallel lanes, someone sitting in the driver’s seat looked through their window—first at Evan Lin inside the car, then at Lily Liang driving, their gaze full of curiosity and confusion.
They probably couldn’t figure out why this unfamiliar-looking Evan Lin would be sitting in the same car as Lily Liang.
“So what if they’re really out for blood?”
Evan Lin leaned back in his seat, his expression calm, a hint of mocking in his eyes.
Up to now, Evan had just wanted to find the Shang family and settle all scores, old and new, once and for all.
He hadn’t expected the Shang family to make such a big show out of it—was it to impress him, or to use this as a warning to others?
"Did you notice those white vans following behind the Lincolns?"
Lily Liang pointed ahead at the vans right behind the Lincolns.
The vans weren’t expensive, but they were brand new—lined up right after the Lincolns, and ahead of the other luxury cars.
A whole row of vans looked dull and heavy.
"What's up with the vans?"
"Each van carries the best fighter in their family. To even sit in one, you need at least peak internal strength."
Lily Liang spoke seriously, then glanced at Evan Lin: "You know what peak internal strength means, right?"
"Just one step away from the Vajra Realm—the kind who can hurt people from a distance."
"The Shang family’s people are even stronger. They have plenty of Vajra experts holding the fort, plus several Pointing-to-Mystery Realm supermasters who’ve been personally guided by the Rowe clan. Those guys are a whole different level compared to the ones in the vans."
"These people aren’t just the Shang family’s confidence—they represent Tangshan’s strongest power!"
At this point, Lily Liang couldn’t help but feel a bit proud and smug.
She kept driving, but didn’t hear the response she expected from Evan Lin.
That left Lily Liang a little frustrated. She glanced at Evan again, only to see him leaning back, not even bothering to look at the cars outside this time.
