Morgan caught Diras staring at him in a daze, and couldn't help but burst out laughing, nearly unable to hide his smug grin. Quickly, Morgan put on a false air of concern and spoke up.
"Lord Diras, I didn't expect the beast I was chasing to end up here with you. My apologies! Luckily, I arrived just in time—otherwise, if you got hurt, that would be a real problem.
It's a pity, though—I was worried this big guy would go berserk and hurt you, so I hit a little too hard. Ended up melting its whole head, and even destroyed the mana crystal. What a shame...
