I’m Afraid If I Tell You, You’ll Die of Rage

She'd long suspected he was of the imperial clan, but never imagined he was actually an Imperial Prince.

Suddenly, her hand was warmed—Henry Xiao had steadied her, saying, "No need for such formality. From now on, whenever you see me, just skip the salute."

Lily Bai lifted her head, feeling that this Imperial Prince really was the picture of a gentleman—refined and dignified.

She smiled and nodded, radiant and captivating—no one could compare.

Henry Xiao's gaze flickered, and there was a subtle, unreadable emotion in his eyes and brows.

Lily Bai awkwardly looked away.

Though she wasn't married, her striking looks had attracted plenty of admirers since childhood.

She could easily read that kind of look.

It was the look of someone who liked her—or, to put it bluntly, had their eye on her.

......

The two had talked so much, and more than ten bolts of lightning had already struck—but Damian Black still wasn't dead.

He hadn't even made a sound.

But his face and body were covered in scorched, cracked wounds—bloody all over, tragic yet stoic.

Lily Bai felt a twinge of pity in her heart.

But then she remembered he was the Demon Emperor—the one who threw the world into chaos and destruction—and ruthlessly forced herself to suppress that pity.

Henry Xiao and Leo Li, watching Damian Black's aura grow weaker, both grew more and more grave.

Lily Bai even thought Henry Xiao's expression was a little complicated.

There was a look of vengeance—and also a trace of sadness.

"Monster, you've brought disaster for a hundred years—today, you finally face justice." Henry Xiao straightened his tall frame, speaking each word with force. "Any last words?"

Damian Black looked up at Henry Xiao, suddenly giving a wicked, enchanting grin: "I'm afraid if I told you, you'd die of rage!"

"Go ahead, let's hear it." Henry Xiao raised an eyebrow.

"Tenfold Oblivion." Damian Black extended his right hand, summoning an object and gripping it tightly.

It was an arrow.

Forged from divine iron, jet-black from tip to tail, its arrowhead gleamed with a sharp golden light.

A bead was set into the end of the shaft, deep and dark within—lightning seemed to flicker inside.

Henry Xiao was instantly stunned. "Impossible! How could the Tenfold Oblivion Arrow be in your hands?"

Leo Li's jaw dropped too. "The... the Tenfold Oblivion! The Tenfold Oblivion Arrow can draw and gather lightning—no wonder you survived so many strikes!"

Damian Black smiled faintly. "If you'd only imprisoned me here, I'd really have no way to escape. So thanks for coming all this way to help me out!"

With that, he raised the arrow and suddenly drove it into the Sigil Pillar behind him.

It was like the sky and earth were collapsing.

All Lily Bai could see was a blinding white light.

If not for the Fourth Prince's protective barrier, she would've been reduced to dust.

Then, she suddenly felt someone grab her arm and yank her upward into the air.

She couldn't see who it was.

But she had a bad feeling about it.

When the light faded, she was already standing atop a cloud in midair—firmly held by Damian Black.

Commander Li and the Fourth Prince both chased after them.

Both had blood on their lips and chests—clearly wounded.

"Monster! You actually stole the Tenfold Oblivion! You deserve death!" Henry Xiao summoned a faintly glowing divine sword, pointing it at Damian Black in fury.

"Stole?" Damian Black laughed. "It chose me as its master!"

"Nonsense! That's the Holy Master Grace Summers' weapon—how could it choose you?" Henry Xiao shouted.

Damian Black: "If you don't believe me, try it yourself. If you can take it, it's yours."

The Tenfold Oblivion Arrow floated before them.

Henry Xiao reached out to grab it.

Commander Li grabbed his arm: "Don't!"
