Evan Yang found himself surrounded by Demon-Nether Fire. The flames burned with intense heat, lowering visibility and trying to seep into his body to destroy his internal tissues. But the moment they touched him, Evan used his Ice-fire Sacred Flame to freeze the flames, then calmly expelled the black energy from his hands, bit by bit.
Sara Sang, not understanding what was happening, thought Evan was just trying to resist. She laughed, “Kid, stop struggling. Demon-Nether Fire, once it gets inside you, will turn your body demonic. You’ll go mad, and when you finally come out, you’ll be nothing but a mindless wreck. Haha!”
“Oh? Really? That’s pretty vicious.” Evan hadn’t expected the flames to have such an effect.
Sara Sang laughed again. “I never thought Evan Yang, the troublemaker of Demon Mountain, would be so weak. Once you lose your mind, I’ll send you straight to Demon Mountain and tell everyone how I caught you. Let them all know I beat you and claimed the top spot!”
“Demon Witch, you really want to beat me and become number one that badly?” Evan Yang said helplessly.
Sara Sang laughed, “Of course! I’ve heard about you—your name shakes the entire Devil Realm. If I can defeat you, I’ll be even more famous!”
“Sigh, you really don’t know anything,” Evan Yang sighed.
“Don’t know what?” Sara Sang’s smile faded after Evan’s words, and she asked.
“Your flames are useless against me.” Evan Yang smiled, then exhaled, extinguishing all the Demon-Nether Fire around him. When Sara Sang saw her flames vanish and Evan still standing unharmed, she was stunned. After recovering, she exclaimed, “How did you do that?”
“That’s my secret. I can’t just tell you,” Evan Yang replied with a smile.
