Number One Winery of the Human World

This is Flash Step, not flight. Flight can be seen; but with Flash Step, the space between two positions is cut off, and only cultivators of equal stage can judge the next location by sensing qi.

This qi is what people call 'aura'—it's how you judge where someone will appear next.

At this moment, Evan Yang was at early Shadow-God Realm. With fifty consecutive steps, his speed was astonishing—but this was his true power, and he intended not to reveal it. If he could hide it, he would.

After settling everything, Evan exited seclusion. Seeing Derek and the others, he asked, "How is she?"

"Still the same. She won't come out or see anyone—she just hides in her room all day," Derek sighed.

Evan nodded. "Then keep her company. I'm about to leave the Fiend Realm, head to the Human World, and get you all out of here."

"Alright." Everyone nodded. So Evan left the Tower. Once outside, the pressure was much less than before entering. He quickly ran down the stairs, planning to return here another time—the sixteenth floor, he remembered.

After leaving, Evan found Owen Bing. After asking about the situation, he thought for a while and said, "I'll leave the Fiend Palace squad to you. If Fiend Palace ever faces upheaval, you can come find me in the Human World."

"Captain Wood, you're going to the Human World?" Owen Bing said in surprise.

"Yeah, I've got something to deal with. As for when I'll be back... I can't say, so..." Evan said helplessly.

Owen Bing was a little reluctant. Though Evan hadn't been their captain for long, to Owen, he was the most mysterious and formidable leader they'd ever had.

"Alright, that's settled. I'm leaving now," Evan said, seeing the sadness on Owen's face. With a flash step, he departed, deliberately not seeking out Faye Gale.

He didn't want Faye Gale to know, so he left alone.

Shortly after leaving Fiend Palace, Evan noticed someone tailing him. He extended his divine sense and recognized a familiar face. "So it's him!"

It was none other than the Nether Patriarch. Evan was puzzled—what was he doing here?

Evan stopped and greeted him, "Long time no see."

"Long time no see!" the Nether Patriarch replied with a smile.

Then the Nether Patriarch released a powerful, strangely distorted aura. Evan was startled, realizing this wasn't the same Nether Patriarch as before. He demanded, "Who are you, really?"

"Who am I? What do you think?" The Nether Patriarch laughed heartily.

Just as the Nether Patriarch was laughing, Evan stepped forward, struck him with a punch, and sealed his body. The Nether Patriarch—actually the consciousness controlled by the Corpse-Refiner—was completely caught off guard by this turn of events.

"You—let me go!" The Nether Patriarch was shocked to discover he couldn't move and demanded to be released.

"Tell me, who are you really?" Evan said coldly.

"I'm myself," the Nether Patriarch stubbornly refused to admit the truth.

"Not admitting it? Then prepare for your soul to be destroyed," Evan said with a cold snort.

Just as Evan was about to act, a flash of light appeared in front of the Nether Patriarch and he vanished.

"Damn it? Where did he go?" Evan was shocked, unable to believe what had just happened.

This situation left Evan deeply surprised. He spread his divine sense but found no trace of the target—this was the first time someone he'd sealed had vanished on their own.

Evan spent most of the day searching, but found nothing. He muttered, "Looks like another strange person has appeared."

With no other explanation, Evan decided not to waste any more time and headed toward the entrance between the Fiend Realm and the Human World.

Meanwhile, on Corpse-Refiner Mountain, the Corpse-Refiner examined the Nether Patriarch and frowned. "Damn it, can't move at all?"

"Master," the Nether Patriarch called out for help.

"Don't worry, even though your body can't move, at least your soul is still active. But after transferring to a new body, your overall strength will drop, so you'll need to slowly integrate." The Corpse-Refiner explained.

"Mm," responded the Nether Patriarch.

The Corpse-Refiner fetched another general's corpse and transferred the Nether Patriarch's soul into it.

Once the new body could move, the original body of the Nether Patriarch lost all its luster.

"That kid's got real skills—he actually managed to immobilize you like this," the Corpse-Refiner said with a frown.

"He reminds me of someone," the Nether Patriarch suddenly said.

"Speak," the Corpse-Refiner said curiously.

"That kid, Evan Yang—the one you're looking for," said the Nether Patriarch.

"What? Are you sure?" The Corpse-Refiner was shocked.

The Nether Patriarch replied, "I was immobilized by Evan in the exact same way before. Even if this isn't the same person, there must be a connection."

"No matter who he is, we have to find him," the Corpse-Refiner said, as if he'd discovered something incredible.

"But his strength..." The Nether Patriarch hadn't expected Evan to be so powerful.

"Keep using my method—absorb more power from others and you'll break through soon. But remember, even if you've switched bodies, the strange aura from years of cultivating with that art still lingers. Be careful. If you run into that kid, tell me immediately. I'll show you how to catch him." The Corpse-Refiner instructed.

"Understood," the Nether Patriarch replied, then went about his business.

"If it really is him, that's great—but how do you explain the change in aura and appearance?" the Corpse-Refiner muttered. Suddenly, his eyes narrowed as inspiration struck. "Didn't the Phantom Elder have an art like this?"

Remembering how Evan was once abducted by the Phantom Elder, the Corpse-Refiner's expression turned strange. He even began to believe that the Fiend Palace general could be Evan in disguise.

"If that's true, then the Fiend Palace will be in for a surprise," the Corpse-Refiner sneered.

Afterward, the Corpse-Refiner quietly summoned the Nether Patriarch and ordered him to keep a close watch on Captain Wood.

"If you notice anything unusual, report to me immediately," the Corpse-Refiner instructed.

"Yes, Master," the Nether Patriarch replied.

The Corpse-Refiner waved his hand, dismissing the Nether Patriarch, and continued refining corpses.

Evan, meanwhile, had already reached the entrance to the Human World. He paused, scanning his surroundings, and then stepped through the portal.

On the other side, Evan found himself on Lingmaze Star, a planet under the Hundred-Bloom Palace's domain. The air was fresh, and wildflowers covered the hillsides.

He picked a quiet mountain and built a simple house, then brought Elena Yale and the rest of his companions over from the Fiend Realm.

The environment here was gentle and peaceful, perfect for long-term recovery. Elena Yale, whose youth was still being drained by the Tyrant Seal Art, finally felt a sense of relief.

Evan went out to investigate the area and returned to tell Elena, "This planet is Lingmaze Star, and the nearby city is called Lily City."

Elena Yale took out her Transmission Stone and tried to contact her father. The last message, sent decades ago, said he was heading to the Fenn Family.

Evan frowned. "The Fenn Family... That means we'll have to go there and find out for ourselves."

Elena Yale nodded, her eyes full of hope and worry.
