Punishing the Bully

So Evan Yang followed Hannah Nangong toward the Unclaimed Star System.

It took several hours, passing through different teleportation arrays and routes, before they finally arrived at the outermost planet of the Unclaimed Star System.

Each planet was enormous. As soon as Evan and Hannah arrived, they found themselves in a huge city—so large that Evan could barely cover it with his divine sense.

"Let's ask around," Evan said to Hannah after pausing for a moment.

Hannah nodded, but soon another headache for Evan appeared. A city bully showed up ahead—his cultivation was first-tier Heavenly-Immortal.

With that kind of strength, bullying Earth-Immortals was more than easy. Not everyone was as freakish as Evan.

The bully had several henchmen following him, most of them Earth-Immortals, and one or two were also first-tier Heavenly-Immortals.

"Hey, where did this little beauty come from? Never seen you before!" The bully stared at Hannah Nangong with lustful eyes.

Hannah hated those lecherous looks the most. She nearly exposed her identity, but Evan sent her a sound transmission: "No need for you to act on this one yet."

Evan smiled and said, "Hey there, brother. My sister and I just arrived, we're new here and don't know anyone. Could you tell us where we might find someone who knows about precious items around here?"

The bully was delighted when he heard that—they were outsiders, no wonder he hadn't seen them before. Seeing the crowds here, he figured someone might interfere if he acted openly, so why not trick them instead? He quickly put on a calm face and said, "Oh, you're looking for those Know-All Brokers? No problem, I know where to find them. I'll take you there."

"Know-All Broker?" Evan paused for a second, then smiled and said, "Alright."

So Evan and Hannah followed the bully, with his henchmen surrounding them on both sides. The passing commoners—just ordinary people—saw the two being led by the bully and silently mourned for them.

Hannah couldn't figure it out—why follow the bully? Was he really going to kindly take them to ask for information?

The bully was thrilled inside—how easy it was to lure away two people, and soon he'd get to enjoy a beauty.

As the saying goes, 'Lust leads to disaster.' If Evan hadn't told Hannah to hold back, the bully would probably have been ashes by now.

So the group walked and walked, and soon they were outside the city.

Evan pretended to be curious and asked, "Hey, brother, why are we heading outside the city?"

"That's because those Know-All Brokers like to act all mysterious. They always hang out in odd places. I'll take you there in a moment, don't worry," the bully replied with a smile. Seeing fewer and fewer people around, he grew happier inside.

The henchmen around them looked so shifty that Hannah felt disgusted. If Evan hadn't told her to hold back, who knows where they'd have been sent flying by now.

Hannah still couldn't understand why Evan wanted her to hold back.

The bully thought these two were idiots—they were so obedient! He led them farther and farther away, and after a while, they reached the foot of a mountain. The area was deserted, with no one around. The bully grinned and said, "Brother, you must be tired. Why don't you rest here for a bit?"

"Rest?" Evan asked, feigning suspicion.

"Yeah, you take a break. As for this girl, I'll take her out to enjoy the scenery," the bully said with a grin.

"Enjoy the scenery?" Evan chuckled.

"Yeah..." For some reason, the bully felt Evan's smile was a bit off.

"No need to enjoy the scenery. You all can just stay right here." As soon as Evan finished speaking, his figure flickered like a ghost. Before the Heavenly-Immortal thugs could react, Evan sealed their cultivation. As for the bully, before he could move, the furious Hannah kicked him straight into a boulder with a boom.

When the bully struggled to get up, he saw Evan touch him with one hand. Suddenly, he couldn't move at all. Terrified, he stammered, "Y-you... who are you?"

"Us? We're the Twin Immortal Saints, specialists in punishing evil immortals," Evan said with a grin. "Twin Immortal Saints?" The bully had never heard of such a name. Hannah almost burst out laughing but held it in, eager to see how Evan would punish him.

"Doesn't matter if you don't get it now—you'll understand eventually. Now, tell me, what's the deal with those Know-All Brokers?" Evan asked.

Hannah finally understood—Evan had deliberately let them lead him out so he could interrogate them. The thugs thought Evan was being dragged along, but they had no idea it was all his plan.

"Know-All Brokers are people in the Unclaimed Star System who know a lot about everything, so everyone calls them Know-All Brokers," the bully stammered.

"Oh? So where in this city can we find a Know-All Broker?" Evan asked curiously.

"In a ruined temple in the eastern part of the city. There's a Know-All Broker there, and lots of people gather every day to ask questions," the bully replied, feeling frustrated—he never expected to run into such tough customers.

"I see. Since you've been so cooperative, you'll stay here for a few days. If you're lucky, you might make it back. If not, and you run into a savage beast or a villain, well, that's your fate," Evan said with a smile.

"Twin Saints, don't do this!" the bully pleaded, frustrated.

"You brought this on yourself. This is your punishment. We're leaving," Evan said, then left with a smiling Hannah Nangong.

The bully kept shouting, but no one could hear him. As for the sealed henchmen, even their ability to speak had been blocked.

"Why am I so unlucky? Please don't let me run into any enemies now, that would be a disaster," the bully prayed.

Evan and Hannah left the area and went to the east side of the city to look for the ruined temple. Not long after they left, someone else approached the bully.

When the bully saw someone approaching, he quickly shouted, "Hey, friend, help me out!"

"Oh? Help? What kind of help do you need?" the stranger asked with a smile.

"I'm the young master from Bullard Manor in the city. Please take me there—my family will reward you handsomely," the bully said.

"Bullard Manor? Is that here in this city?" the stranger asked curiously.

The bully nodded.

The stranger pondered for a moment, then smiled and said, "So you're Young Master Bullard. Alright, I'll help you out."

"Thank you, you're a good person!" the bully said happily.

"No need to thank me. I was just passing by and heard someone shouting, so I came to check. How did you end up like this?" the stranger asked, though he was secretly suspicious: "How did Evan Yang pull off such a trick?"

"Don't even mention it—it's infuriating. My luck was terrible today. I ran into these so-called Twin Saints, and they left me like this. If you hadn't passed by, I might've been torn apart by beasts tonight," the bully said helplessly, leaning on the stranger's shoulder.

The stranger hoisted the bully and said, "Twin Saints? Never heard of them. Are you sure they're not imposters?"

"I've never heard of them either. When I get back, I'll ask my father. If they're fakes, I'll have people hunt them down," the bully said angrily.

"Of course. I want to see who these Twin Saints really are," the stranger replied, though he sneered inwardly, "This is the perfect chance to use you to get rid of Evan Yang."

At this point, the bully saw the stranger as his savior and did whatever he said. He hated Evan and Hannah to the bone—if no one had passed by, he'd have been doomed.

After a while, the stranger brought the bully to Bullard Manor in the city. Bullard Manor was well-known—one of the top clans, with tens of thousands of people. There were plenty of Heavenly-Immortals, and even some Profound-Immortals. As for Immortal Lords, no one was sure.

The guards were shocked to see their young master carried in like that. The stranger said, "Your young master was attacked and can't move. Can you take me to where he rests?"

The guards froze. Seeing this, the bully cursed from the stranger's shoulder, "You useless dogs, hurry up!"

"Yes, yes!" The guards hurriedly led the stranger to the bully's residence, and news of the incident quickly reached Bullard Manor's steward.

The steward arrived at the bully's room with a group of subordinates.

"What are you all standing around for? Get in here!" the bully snapped.
