Sealed Dantian

Evan Lin threw his whole soul into sensing the brightest star of the Big Dipper. He ground away at it for nearly a month, night after night, but progress was pitiful. The only real difference was that at night, he could lock onto that star in a flash—during the day, though, it was like hunting for a needle in a haystack.

Blazefire Immortal Lord was bored out of his skull, so he plopped down and tried soaking up Stellar Power the way Evan did. Even with starlight flickering on his skin, it was a joke—the effect was next to nothing, and it ticked him off big time.

One night, Evan Lin zeroed in on the lone Star Mark inside him, pouring all his focus into it. The moment he’d spotted that first Star Mark, it hit him—there were seven marks lurking in his body, each waiting for its own star.

Each Star Mark only shows up after you link with a star. That info in his head made Evan dead sure he was onto something big. He kept inspecting the Star Mark, feeling like his body was a whole river of stars swirling overhead.

That Star Mark was the brightest spark in that heavenly river. For days, Evan watched it, and every time Stellar Power poured in, the mark shifted—growing sharper, almost like a mini star burning inside him. The sight was mesmerizing.

Evan poked at the Star Mark with his divine sense, only to smack into a faint wall of energy barring the way. That got his blood pumping—this was a real breakthrough!

If he could get that Star Mark to resonate, he’d link up with its matching star in the sky—and then, borrowing Stellar Power would be child’s play. That kind of power? Absolutely insane.

He could bust out killer techniques whenever he wanted. Even if his Chaos Immortal Force ran dry, he’d just tap Stellar Power instead—maybe even endlessly! Who in the world could hope to stop him then?

But actually getting the Star Mark to resonate was a nightmare. Evan tried a million times, always failing—he was seriously frustrated, no clue how to break through. It was like hitting a wall over and over.

A few days later, Evan realized every drop of Stellar Power that entered his body got instantly swallowed by his Chaos Immortal Force. No pure Stellar Power left—maybe that was exactly why he couldn’t talk to the Star Mark. The answer was right there, but he just couldn’t grab it.

He felt like he’d stumbled onto something big, so he tried to use sheer willpower to stop his Chaos Immortal Force from scarfing down the incoming Stellar Power. But that was way harder than it sounded—every time Stellar Power hit his dantian, Chaos Immortal Force just gobbled it up, no matter what he did. It was maddening.

Seal the dantian! The idea slammed into Evan Lin out of nowhere. But if he locked it up, how would he ever unlock it? He hesitated—if a powerhouse showed up while he was sealed, he’d be toast, dead before he even knew what happened. The risk was real, but so was the temptation.

Still, Evan figured if he could seal it, he could unseal it too. The thought barely had time to flash by when his Immortal Infant piped up: "You want to seal off your dantian’s power? You need me! And when it’s time to unseal, you need me again. I’m not just here for decoration, you know! Why do you always act like you’re the only one here and forget about me?"

The Immortal Infant’s voice made Evan Lin light up—it was like hearing a heavenly choir. He blurted out, "Then hurry up and seal it! I want to test if I can talk to the Star Mark."

"Sealing the Chaos Immortal Force in your dantian is easy, but cracking it open again takes time. With your current strength, you’ll need about three days to break the seal. Plan ahead—if trouble shows up before you unseal, you’re in deep," the Immortal Infant warned.

"Three days? That’s nothing, I can handle that. Go on, seal it up—I’m itching to try this!" Evan Lin said, nearly bouncing in place.

Right away, Evan Lin watched as his Chaos Immortal Force in the dantian slowly condensed into a white bead, just hanging there in the dantian space, not a hint of energy leaking out. The whole thing took nearly half a day, and the anticipation was killing him.

Evan Lin tested it out and found he couldn’t use Chaos Immortal Force at all. He instantly started soaking up Stellar Power like crazy. During the day, not much got through, but at night, he was practically glowing with starlight—like a beacon in the dark.

Now, the Stellar Power flowing into his body showed up directly in his meridians and dantian. It wasn’t on the same level as Chaos Immortal Force, but Evan Lin could see it clearly—and that made him stupidly happy. He couldn’t help but grin like an idiot.

He slowly scanned the Star Mark with his divine sense and saw it shining way brighter. It used to be on his right leg, but now it had shifted up to his waist. Evan Lin was even more pumped by this—his excitement was through the roof.

He was sure that once the Star Mark hit his dantian, he'd finally be able to talk to it. After that, resonance would just happen naturally—like water flowing downhill. The anticipation was starting to drive him nuts.

Days ticked by, the auction date creeping closer. Finally, Evan Lin’s Star Mark landed in his dantian. He instantly reached out with his divine sense—this time, nothing blocked him, and he dove straight into the Star Mark’s inner world, heart pounding.

Inside, Evan Lin felt like he was floating in a limitless starry sky. It was pitch black everywhere except for one star blazing overhead, pouring out Stellar Power like a waterfall. The sight was both awe-inspiring and intimidating.

Evan Lin instantly knew this star matched his Star Mark—one of the Big Dipper. If all seven Star Marks showed up, he’d see the whole Big Dipper shining here, lighting up the darkness.

He tried to grab that Stellar Power, and boom—a flood of it exploded inside the Star Mark. Evan Lin’s divine sense couldn’t handle it at all—he got booted straight out, like getting sucker-punched by the universe itself.

Suddenly, Evan Lin’s head felt like it was getting stabbed by a thousand knives. Sweat poured off him, his face twisted in pain, muscles bunching up like knots—he looked downright scary. All the while, his body was wrapped in blazing starlight, glowing like a star come to life.

Blazefire Immortal Lord saw Evan Lin’s state and freaked out—this looked just like a cultivation meltdown. He dashed over and tried to pump Immortal Essence into Evan, but a blast of Stellar Power bounced it away and sent Blazefire flying hundreds of meters before he could steady himself. The shock nearly knocked the breath out of him.

Blazefire Immortal Lord got up, feeling his blood and qi churning like a storm. He stared at Evan Lin, stunned: "What kind of power is that? It’s nuts! This kid’s a total freak—he’s not normal at all!"

Evan Lin slowly cracked his eyes open, gritting his teeth through the pain. "I didn’t think Stellar Power would hit this hard. If I try to borrow it all at once, the energy’s just too much. I’ll have to pace myself—otherwise, I might blow myself up!"
