Return to the Heavenly Dragon Empire

1/19/2026

Evan Chu hadn’t planned to kill those two guards—he was just giving them a casual lesson. By now, Claire Ouyang, Luna Chu, and Skylar Yule had already stepped into the Teleportation Gate. Evan said, "If your Qingzhou Kingdom’s monarch were here, and he dared to block me, I’d kill him too—no hesitation."

Evan Chu’s words sent a chill through the crowd—everyone was guessing at the identity of this wildly arrogant youth, but no one had a clue. The next instant, the four were swallowed by the light of the Teleportation Gate and vanished before everyone’s eyes.

Soon, the four of them appeared in a dense forest. "Doesn’t this look almost exactly like Monster Beast Forest? There are plenty of beasts here too, but none are really vicious. With Big Brother Skylar and Luna Chu’s strength, they’ll be absolutely fine."

"Evan Chu, do you think the White Tiger Clan might be tricking us? What if they’re just trying to lure us out and threaten you?" Claire Ouyang asked, sounding worried.

"You’re way too cautious. Your man isn’t an idiot—don’t you think I know what’s going on? Just relax! The White Tiger Temple Master is my friend. You really think he’d try to trick me? Not a chance!" Evan Chu laughed.

After passing through the hidden barrier, they entered the White Tiger Clan’s territory. "Evan Chu, this place is a hidden paradise! If only Frostbane Sect had scenery this breathtaking," Claire Ouyang joked.

"Then why don’t you just stay here? We’ll head back to the Heavenly Dragon Empire, and once everything’s settled, we’ll come pick you up—how about that?" Evan Chu teased.

"What’s the point if you’re not here? I’m your woman—wherever you go, I go! That’s what it means to follow your man. Don’t you get it?" Claire Ouyang shot back, her voice full of pride.

Soon, Evan Chu and his companions arrived at the White Tiger Temple, where Azure Moon White Tiger and several high-ranking clan members were already waiting at the main hall entrance to greet them.

Evan Chu glanced at Azure Moon White Tiger, then said to the other three, "This guy is the White Tiger Clan’s chief—the master of the White Tiger Temple. Go ahead and say hello!"

"Greetings, Temple Master!" the three chorused in perfect unison. Azure Moon White Tiger simply nodded, acknowledging them with his usual calm.

Evan Chu introduced Claire Ouyang, Luna Chu, and Skylar Yule to Azure Moon White Tiger and the other elders. When he mentioned Claire, several clan elders couldn't help but sneak extra glances, curious what set Evan Chu’s woman apart from all the rest.

Looking closely, they saw she was truly a peerless beauty. After a few polite words, everyone was acquainted. Evan Chu had no patience for pointless small talk—right now, all he wanted was to leave, leave, leave.

"Azure Moon, take me to the Teleportation Gate to the Heavenly Dragon Empire. I need to leave right now," Evan Chu said, his tone urgent.

"Such a hurry? Why not stay, let me show you some hospitality, and leave tomorrow instead?" Azure Moon White Tiger suggested warmly.

"I really have urgent business. There’ll be plenty of chances for us to drink together—next time I come, we’ll get drunk, good and proper! This time, I’ll have to pass," Evan Chu replied with a wry smile.

"Alright then, there’s always next time. I’ll wait for you. Let me take you to the Teleportation Gate myself!" Azure Moon White Tiger said, his voice full of promise.

With a flash, Azure Moon White Tiger shot into the sky. Evan Chu and his group weren’t slow—they followed right behind. Before long, they reached another ancient Teleportation Gate, even older and more imposing than the last.

Evan Chu eyed the gate and asked, "Is this the Teleportation Gate that leads straight to the Heavenly Dragon Empire?"

"That’s right. You can teleport here from the Heavenly Dragon Empire too, but the number of Starstones you’ll need is more than double—without enough, don’t even think about it!" Azure Moon White Tiger explained, shaking his head.

As he finished speaking, Azure Moon White Tiger produced a Star Crystal and slotted it into a groove on the gate. Evan Chu was stunned—using a Star Crystal for fuel, this guy was loaded, seriously loaded!

"Surprised? This gate is tens of thousands of li—maybe even hundreds of thousands—from the Heavenly Dragon Empire. Ordinary Starstones can’t power it at all. If you want to teleport here from the empire, you need at least three Star Crystals—at least three! That’s why nobody ever teleports in from that side," Azure Moon White Tiger explained.

The Teleportation Gate began to ripple with energy. Evan Chu knew it was about to activate, so he said to the others, "Let’s go—otherwise we’ll waste Azure Moon White Tiger’s Star Crystal, and that would be a crime!"

After the four entered the gate, Evan Chu said, "Azure Moon White Tiger, remember what I told you—I’m coming back for Ryan Ouyang. There are some things you can explain to him ahead of time, so he doesn’t end up with shadows in his heart that’ll mess up his cultivation."

"I understand. Go on, don’t worry about a thing!" Azure Moon White Tiger replied. Right then, a powerful force yanked from the gate, and the four instantly vanished from Azure Moon White Tiger’s sight.

This was probably the farthest teleportation Evan Chu and his group had ever experienced. Running into Ryan Ouyang, the White Tiger Bloodline inheritor, was pure luck—without that, searching for him in this endless world could’ve taken a lifetime, a lifetime!

After about half a stick of incense, the four appeared in a mountain valley. The Teleportation Gate was embedded in the stone wall, even older and much larger than the one in the White Tiger Clan’s territory—no wonder it needed so many Star Crystals to fire up!

Evan Chu checked the direction and said, "Let’s go—let’s ask around and figure out where we are. I trust Azure Moon White Tiger, so this should be within the Heavenly Dragon Empire’s territory. We just don’t know the exact spot yet, that’s all."

The four flew out of the valley and traveled through the air for more than an hour before spotting a small city of decent size. They landed outside, planning to ask passersby for directions—they had no interest in entering the city itself, not at all.

After walking along the road for a while, they ran into a middle-aged man. Evan Chu hurried over and asked, "Brother, would you mind telling us where we are? My siblings and I got lost while traveling and aren’t sure how to get back."

The middle-aged man was just an ordinary martial artist, probably only at the fourth or fifth stage of the Xuanwu Realm. He glanced at Evan Chu, noticed his flashy clothes, and figured he was a rich young master. So he said, "This is Twinforest City. Not sure where you’re headed, but if you say it, maybe I’ll know."

"We’re heading to the Royal Capital. Which way should we go?" Evan Chu asked, not hiding his urgency.

"The Royal Capital? Sorry, I’ve never been there, so I can’t help you with that," the man said, shaking his head and leaving without another word.

Evan Chu turned to Skylar Yule and asked, "Big Brother, do you know where Twinforest City is in the Heavenly Dragon Empire?"

"Twinforest City? We actually ended up in Twinforest City? That’s hilarious—this is the farthest city in the whole Heavenly Dragon Empire! The Royal Capital is at least tens of thousands of li from here. Come on, follow me, and don’t fall behind!" Skylar Yule said.

With a direction set, everyone felt much more at ease. After five days, the four finally reached the Royal Capital of the Heavenly Dragon Empire. A long-lost sense of home surged in their hearts, especially for Evan Chu—because inside this city were his beloved women, his closest kin, and his truest friends... This was home. This was where everything would begin again.
