Princess Quinn Xiao Is Eliminated

"Okay, big brother." Ryan Lu was especially obedient.

"Ryan, are you still having nightmares?" Ethan Lu asked.

"I'm so tired every day I feel like a dog," Ryan Lu said. "I don't dream about anything anymore."

"So you just weren't tired enough before."

"Big brother! Sometimes I seriously doubt we're even related..."

...

The Celestial Emperor exiled Prince Asher Xiao to the remote seas of the lower realm as Lord of Waters.

And, without imperial decree, he is forbidden to enter Drake Abyss.

That was a pretty harsh demotion.

As for the Celestial Empress... she's still the Celestial Empress.

Rumor has it the Celestial Emperor never saw the Empress again, but no one really knows for sure.

Back at the Divine General Training Camp, everyone was back to round-the-clock drills—too busy to gossip anymore.

The Celestial Emperor and Divine Lord Tanya Quinn started teaching them more advanced arrays—and gave them even stricter tests.

Every stage ended with a competitive assessment.

The lowest-ranked team always had someone leaving.

Lucia Lu's team almost never ranked last.

But sometimes, mistakes happen.

This time, it was their team's turn to be at the bottom.

Two people were about to face elimination.

Mia Quinn was young, and her cultivation was weaker than most.

Lucia Lu originally thought that if her team lost, she might be the one eliminated.

But when the votes were counted, her name wasn't on the list.

Instead, it was Princess Quinn Xiao.

When Princess Quinn Xiao saw the results, she was instantly furious.

She insisted the scorekeeper must've made a mistake.

Then she demanded to see all the scores herself.

This time, Darren Xuan volunteered to tally the scores, so he asked Divine Lord Tanya Quinn for advice.

Divine Lord Tanya Quinn said, "Remove all the names and let her see."

Divine Lord Tanya Quinn was being thorough—she didn't want Princess Quinn Xiao to see who gave her low scores and go after them for revenge.

After all, she was the princess of Drake Abyss.

So Darren Xuan stripped off all the names and showed her the scores.

The scores from the Celestial Emperor and Divine Lord Tanya Quinn were pretty fair.

They matched her overall abilities.

The real issue was the scores from her teammates.

Most were low, though there were some high ones too.

Like Darren Xuan's score.

Princess Quinn Xiao recognized Darren Xuan's handwriting and saw he'd given her the highest score.

But someone else had actually given her a zero!

Princess Quinn Xiao snatched up that ballot and demanded, "Who did this? Who gave me a zero?"

No one answered.

"Who was it? Dare to stand up?" she snapped.

Everyone glanced around at each other, faces full of confusion.

Lucia Lu frowned and said to Divine Lord Tanya Quinn, "Divine Lord, giving a zero is clearly unfair. I suggest we cancel that score!"

Divine Lord Tanya Quinn replied, "Let’s do this: remove the highest and lowest scores, then recalculate! Princess, is that acceptable to you?"

Princess Quinn Xiao agreed.

After recalculating, her ranking rose one spot—from dead last to second-to-last—but she was still eliminated.

She didn't make a scene again, just shot Sean Shaw a vicious look and walked away.

...

After every exam, they got a day off.

No training the next day, so Mia Quinn invited everyone to celebrate her survival.

Lucia Lu thought celebrating for this reason felt a bit off.

But since they had a rare day off and hadn’t gathered in ages, she agreed.

Ryan Lu snickered at her: "Mia Quinn, aren’t you celebrating a little early? What if you get eliminated next time? That’d be pretty embarrassing!"

"Even if you’re out, I won’t be!" Mia Quinn shot back. "My score was third in our squad! Right, Fifth Highness?"
