Chaos Qi

1/19/2026

At this moment, Evan Chu's stellar force was completely depleted, leaving him unable to suppress his Pure Yang Qi. Like a demon, he lunged straight at Jenny Sima.

Jenny Sima dodged frantically, utterly speechless at this guy, yet couldn't bring herself to strike him hard.

She realized that in his current state, he might not be exaggerating—one palm could really take his life.

Right now, Evan Chu didn't care who Jenny Sima was, nor did he think about his own situation; there was only one thought in his mind—release, release this energy he'd suppressed for so long.

Seeing Jenny Sima dodge again, he lunged at her with primitive wildness, determined not to stop until he got what he wanted.

“Evan Chu, snap out of it! Don't make me use force!” Jenny Sima called out helplessly.

But Evan Chu couldn't hear her at all—his eyes saw only Jenny Sima as prey. Yet this prey was cunning, and he just couldn't catch her.

“This can't go on... What should I do? What should I do?” Jenny Sima thought anxiously.

Looking at Evan Chu, he didn't seem to be faking it. But why did he only lose control around her, and not at other times? Did she have something special about her?

In that split second when she was distracted, Evan Chu lunged again—this time Jenny Sima couldn't dodge in time and was caught in his arms.

One of his hands happened to land on her most prominent spot, and Jenny Sima could clearly feel Evan Chu's rapid breathing; his body temperature was blazing hot, as if he were on fire.

Evan Chu was muddled, but Jenny Sima was perfectly clear-headed. If Roxanne Lin didn't exist, maybe Evan Chu would be a good match. He was a few years younger, but his talent and potential were absolutely heaven-defying.

Someone like him was bound to become a legendary figure someday. But he already had a fiancée—and one who wasn't any weaker than herself. How could she possibly accept that?

Jenny Sima herself felt a trace of joy every time she saw him, a feeling that only started after that time he forcibly kissed her.

But whenever she thought about him already having a fiancée, her heart turned sour. And now this guy was acting this way with her—she really had no idea what to do with him.

Steadying her emotions, Jenny Sima shoved Evan Chu away, then knocked him out with a palm and laid him on a chair in the hall.

(Merged with previous line for clarity.)

Faced with this kind of situation, she felt utterly helpless. If he was injured, she had spiritual medicine; if it were someone else, she could just walk away or even kill them. But this guy was a complete mystery.

"Is he acting this way because he's out of stellar force? I'll try sending him some and see what happens."

Thinking so, Jenny Sima sat down, straightened Evan Chu's unconscious body, pressed her palm to his, and began channeling her stellar force into him.

At first, she met a bit of resistance, but soon Jenny Sima found her stellar force pouring uncontrollably into Evan Chu's body.

She tried to pull back, but it was impossible. The phenomenon terrified Jenny Sima. Stellar force could be replenished, but she was already at the Earth Martial Realm.

She had already formed her Earth Star Pellet. If her stellar force was drained, the pellet would wither, and recovering would be troublesome. Her power would drop a full level, sending her straight back to ninth-level Mystic Warrior.

Evan Chu, meanwhile, was completely unaware. Thanks to Jenny Sima's powerful stellar force infusion, his body temperature dropped, and his blood-red eyes slowly returned to normal.

"I can't let him keep absorbing—I've got to stop this!" Jenny Sima thought in panic.

She pressed down with her palm, using nearly all her strength to finally pull her hand away. By then, her stellar force was already less than half.

"Damn you! This young lady took a huge loss—if you dare defy me again, you'll pay for it!" Jenny Sima cursed, then left the hall.

If she stayed here any longer, who knew what might happen? This guy was just too weird—she'd have to get to the bottom of it someday.

After Jenny Sima left, Evan Chu didn't wake up until night had fallen. The first thing he felt was his dantian about to explode.

A surge of powerful stellar force rampaged through his dantian, some of it carrying a soft, yin quality, beginning to fuse with his Pure Yang Qi.

Gradually, the fused Pure Yang Qi transformed into a mysterious gas that lingered in his dantian, vying with the stellar force for dominance.

The fused Pure Yang Qi was small in volume, but somehow it was gaining the upper hand—this discovery shocked Evan Chu.

"What is this gas? It's so domineering—even the stellar force can't resist it," Evan Chu muttered to himself.

His original spiritual power had vanished, perhaps fused into this unknown gas.

"That's Yin-Yang Qi—or rather, Chaos Qi. Kid, you've stumbled into good fortune. With Jenny Sima's help, you've been completely remade."

Just then, Luna the Sword Spirit spoke up, though her tone was far from friendly—obviously because of what Evan had said before.

"Sister Luna, you're okay! I thought you were ignoring me!" Evan Chu shouted with joy.

"I considered it. I never expected you'd say something like that to me—truly surprising!" Luna replied, her tone unchanged.

"I was just panicking then! Please don't hold it against me—you're way out of my league!" Evan Chu pleaded, knowing he couldn't afford to offend the Sword Spirit.

"Good thing you know your place. Next time you act up, we'll see if I bother with you!"

"What do you mean by Chaos Qi and being remade?"

"You really don't know how lucky you are. Jenny Sima went to great lengths for you—she poured half her stellar force into your body.

You need to understand, she has the Nine Yin Constitution, so her stellar force is infused with soft yin power. It perfectly complements your Pure Yang Qi, and together they formed the most potent Chaos Qi.

Chaos Qi can be converted into Chaos Force, and its power is beyond your imagination. But right now, you only have a little Chaos Qi. If your whole dantian was filled with it, you'd have the strength of a fifth-level Earth Martial expert at least.

It's the Chaos Qi that woke me up. You should know, I used up half my soul power for you. We need to find Star Soul Grass so I can restore my soul."

Evan Chu listened intently to every word Luna spoke, awed by the might of Chaos Force. He couldn't help but wonder how incredible it would be if all his stellar force transformed into Chaos Force one day.

No one entered the hall all afternoon—Jenny Sima had ordered it. Evan Chu, feeling hungry, grabbed some pastries from the table and wolfed them down.

"Absorb stellar force!" After a few pastries, Evan Chu felt much better. He left the hall and headed for an open space in the City Lord's Mansion.

At this moment, Evan Chu's stellar force was already saturated, yet he continued to absorb more. Tonight, something was bound to happen…
