Get Away From Me Right Now

1/19/2026

Dominic Chu knew Harold Liu all too well—he was the kind of man who would hunt you to the ends of the earth for even the slightest slight. Today, Harold was only restraining himself because of the City Lord's Mansion's overwhelming power, but once they left this place, he would be like a mad beast unleashed, seeking vengeance at any cost.

"In-law, this time your son-in-law is in real trouble. When the storm comes, I hope you and your Lin Family will stand with us and help the Chu Family survive whatever disaster Harold Liu brings," Dominic Chu said, his voice heavy with helplessness.

"Old Chu, don't worry. My Lin Family will mobilize every ounce of our strength to help you—not for anything else, but for my superb son-in-law," Victor Lin replied with heartfelt sincerity, making it clear this was no empty promise.

The remaining force of the stellar sword-qi crashed directly into Wolf Liu. The youth who thought victory was certain was instantly cleaved in two—dead beyond all doubt.

At that moment, Jenny Sima landed in front of Evan Chu. Seeing Wolf Liu’s fate, her breathtaking face showed an expression of utter disbelief.

One move. Just one move and he killed his opponent? Is this his true strength? What happened at the start? Jenny Sima was baffled, staring in confusion at this mysterious youth.

Evan Chu wasn’t feeling much better. After unleashing that sword, he felt almost completely drained—right now, even a first-level Xuanwu Realm rookie could easily defeat or kill him.

His mind was hazy, his vision blurry, but deep down he knew: it was the Sword Spirit’s help.

To unleash a two-meter sword-beam, you’d normally need to be at least an Earth Martial Realm expert. Even Evan himself couldn’t do it under ordinary circumstances.

But this guy had done it—and he was only fifth-level Xuanwu Realm. This fact shattered Jenny Sima’s understanding; for a long moment, she was speechless.

There was silence on the arena, but not elsewhere. The crowd below already saw Evan Chu as a monster—a terrifying one.

Two matches, two kills. Everyone now feared him from the bottom of their hearts.

On the VIP dais, Harold Liu watched the arena with tiger eyes brimming with tears. Step by step, he slowly walked toward the stage.

The despair in his eyes was chilling, but unlike Connor Shangguan, he didn’t act rashly. The authority of the City Lord’s Mansion was something he dared not challenge.

With Evan Chu taken away, only two matches remained. The first three bouts had been more dazzling and brutal with each round, but behind all the cheers and excitement lurked endings as cold and merciless as the edge of a blade.

“Wolf, we’re going home. Your father won’t let you die in vain!” Ignoring the blood and gore, Harold Liu hoisted Wolf’s corpse in his arms. Blood dripped down, quickly staining his clothes red.

After two steps, he paused, stared silently at Evan Chu, and then finally left.

With the Liu patriarch gone, the other Liu clan disciples followed, each one’s eyes burning with hatred—directed straight at Evan Chu.

That look was filled with boundless hatred. If looks could kill, Evan Chu would be long dead.

Dominic Chu saw his son’s reversal but felt no joy. Harold Liu’s unnerving calm made everyone uneasy.

Dominic Chu knew Harold Liu well—he was the type who always took revenge for the slightest grievance. Today, he was only holding back because of the City Lord’s Mansion’s power, but once they left, he would definitely go crazy with revenge.

Roxanne Lin, on the other hand, was utterly unable to feel happy. Evan Chu had been taken away and she was powerless to help him; even if she claimed first place, what meaning would victory have without him by her side? Her heart was filled with helplessness and frustration, the taste of triumph now bitter beyond words.

“Old Chu, don’t worry. My Lin Family will do everything in our power to help you—not just for anything else, but for my outstanding son-in-law,” Victor Lin replied sincerely, making it clear his support was genuine.

With things turning out this way, Jenny Sima was also in a tough spot. Evan Chu had killed two people and no longer qualified to stand on the arena.

No one in the crowd could have predicted such an outcome. Evan Chu himself felt like he was living in a dream—was this really all the punishment he would face after shocking the city with two deadly victories? He couldn't help but mutter inwardly: "Is this the legendary City Lord's Mansion discipline? If only every punishment was this sweet..."

Heavenly Dragon Academy only accepts the top three. Evan Chu clearly couldn’t make it now. As Jenny Sima hesitated, unsure how to handle this, Evan spoke up.

“Miss Sima, I know it’s hard for you to make a decision. I withdraw from this Family Tournament!” Evan Chu declared firmly, without a hint of hesitation.

He knew his own situation—his stellar force was completely spent. Even if he stayed on the arena, he had no chance of winning the next match.

Jenny Sima glanced at Evan Chu. She knew half the reason he made this decision was for her sake. Even though his stellar force was exhausted, the matches could have been postponed by a day or two.

If the City Lord’s Mansion made that call, no one would dare object—but the consequences would be huge. After thinking it over, Jenny Sima nodded.

“Evan Chu wins this match, but because he broke the tournament rules, his qualification is revoked and he’ll receive City Lord’s Mansion punishment. Law-enforcement elders, please escort him away.”

Two elders walked up to Evan Chu. One of them smiled, “Kid, let’s go! Punishment for breaking the rules isn’t light!”

Although he spoke to Evan Chu, his voice rang out clearly for the crowd to hear. The message was clear: the City Lord’s Mansion’s rules could not be bent, not even for a genius like Evan Chu.

But Evan Chu noticed Jenny Sima’s lips move slightly, and the other elder gave a subtle nod. He knew she was using her secret sound transmission technique again.

With Evan Chu taken away, only two matches remained. The first three matches had been more exciting each time, but behind the excitement lay merciless endings.

In the fourth match, Luna Chu was ruthlessly eliminated—but luckily, she wasn’t badly hurt. Her opponent was an outsider disciple, only sixth-level Xuanwu Realm. Honestly, his luck was incredible.

If he’d faced anyone else, he wouldn’t have stood a chance.

The final match’s winner was the Shangguan Family’s second young master, Shangguan Wuqing, a seventh-level Xuanwu Realm cultivator. His opponent surrendered in less than five minutes.

"You have to promise me something too—get away from me, right now! I can't hold it back any longer!" At that instant, Evan Chu felt a blazing, uncontrollable heat explode from his lower abdomen, surging straight to his head. It was as if a tidal wave of desperate, savage need was crashing through his mind, threatening to drown him completely.

Everyone agreed this decision was fair. Hugo Gongsun was especially thrilled—he’d thought he had no hope left, but now a new opportunity had appeared.

But it was already too late. Evan Chu's reason snapped—like a demon unleashed, he lunged at her, every muscle trembling with wild, berserk hunger... Disaster was about to erupt.

Without Evan Chu by her side, entering Heavenly Dragon Academy would be pure torture. Rather than suffer alone, she resolved in her heart to forfeit tomorrow’s match.

In a hall at the City Lord’s Mansion, Evan Chu sat quietly at a table, slowly tasting pastries. Jenny Sima’s so-called punishment was simply letting him rest alone here.

No one could have expected this outcome; Evan Chu himself found it unbelievable.

“How do you like the City Lord’s Mansion pastries?” Jenny Sima’s voice came from outside.

“The matches finished this quickly?” Evan Chu turned his head and asked.

“What are your plans?” Jenny Sima walked in at that moment.

“To enter Heavenly Dragon Academy!” Evan Chu answered crisply. He knew Jenny Sima had a way.

Jenny Sima sat down directly across from Evan Chu and smiled, “You’ve been disqualified—how do you plan to get in?”

Evan Chu looked at the beautiful, mysterious woman across from him and smiled, “Do me a favor and move farther away. Otherwise, what happened before will happen again—and in my current state, I can’t take one of your palms.”

“Why? Are you hiding something?” Jenny Sima’s curiosity was instantly piqued.

“You really want to know?”

“Mm!”

“Let me into Heavenly Dragon Academy!”

“Fine, but you have to promise me one thing!”

“What’s your condition?”

“After you enter Heavenly Dragon Academy, you must reach the elite class within one year.”

“You have to promise me something too—move away from me, right now! I’m losing control!” Evan Chu suddenly felt a wave of heat surge from his lower abdomen to his head, an overwhelming need flooding his mind.

Jenny Sima hadn’t reacted yet, but when she saw Evan Chu’s blood-red eyes, she seemed to understand.

“No, don’t come any closer!”

But it was too late—like a demon, Evan Chu lunged straight at her…
