Dragon Trap Grand Array

"Sir, what happened?"

Lena Yu, already dressed, walked out from the bedroom, her face still showing signs of fatigue.

"It's nothing." Ian Song shook his head, his face softening into a gentle smile as he beckoned Lena Yu over. "Come, stand by my side."

"Mm."

Lena Yu stepped over to him.

Ian Song flipped his palm, and a pill appeared in his hand.

"What is this?"

"It's a Marrow-Cleansing Pill. It can cleanse your marrow and transform your body. Take it."

"Thank you, sir."

Without hesitation, Lena Yu took the pill and swallowed it.

Three days later.

Ian Song, holding the newly transformed Lena Yu, boarded the Silverglow Skiff and headed straight for Cliff Mountain in Cloud Prefecture.

In just three days, with an ample supply of pills, Lena Yu had reached Innate First Layer. However, she only had cultivation realm without matching combat experience, and might not even defeat a peak Postnatal opponent.

Cloud Prefecture was only a few hundred li from Sunvale.

At the Silverglow Skiff's speed, they arrived in the blink of an eye.

Hovering above the summit manor on Cliff Mountain, Ian Song activated his Clairvoyant Vision and looked down.

Seeing the precisely arranged rockeries and trees, Ian Song, though unfamiliar with formations, could tell this was a grand array—just not yet activated.

Deep inside the manor.

There were quite a few courtyards.

To Ian Song's surprise, nine experts at early Foundation Establishment—Heaven-Human realm—were living in those courtyards.

In addition, the appearance of a silver-haired old woman struck Ian Song as familiar. After watching her for a while, he determined she was the aged Vivian Gee, and her cultivation had reached mid Heaven-Human realm.

Back when he first transmigrated to this world, the strongest experts were only at Earth Realm Ninth Layer—Innate Ninth Layer—and there were only a handful.

He hadn't expected that, after just over sixty years, there would already be ten Heaven-Human realm experts in this world.

With both a grand array and Heaven-Human experts present, Vivian Gee's invitation was likely not friendly.

With that thought, Ian Song piloted the Silverglow Skiff down to the base of Cliff Mountain.

"Sir, where are we?" Lena Yu asked curiously.

"Cliff Mountain."

"Why are we here?"

"To meet an old friend," Ian Song replied calmly.

Many scouts were lurking around Cliff Mountain. As soon as Ian Song and Lena Yu appeared, these scouts relayed news of their arrival to the manor atop the mountain.

After walking for half an hour, Ian Song and Lena Yu finally reached the summit.

Outside the manor, a white-haired old woman stood with two middle-aged beauties.

“I didn’t expect that after sixty years, the Grand General would still be so young,” the old woman said slowly, her voice full of age.

“Yes, I’m still young, but you’ve become an ugly old crone. Tell me, is this fate’s joke or heaven’s injustice?” Ian Song laughed.

“How dare you!”

Hearing Ian Song’s sarcasm toward Vivian Gee, the two middle-aged beauties behind her flew into a rage.

But Vivian Gee waved her hand dismissively. "Let the Grand General have his little verbal victory. After all, I personally destroyed the Qi Kingdom he built, and even killed his wife and children."

Ian Song’s eyes narrowed, murderous intent flickered in his heart, but in the end, he suppressed it. "Vivian Gee, I’m very curious—why did you do all this?"

Hearing that the old woman before her was the very Vivian Gee who helped Qin unify the world, Lena Yu was stunned.

A faint smile appeared on Vivian Gee’s aged face. "Grand General, please follow me. I’ll explain everything shortly."

Alright!

Ian Song nodded and followed Vivian Gee into the manor.

"Grand General, this is the Dragon Trap Grand Array I prepared especially for you. If you can escape it, I’ll answer any questions you have."

Vivian Gee and the two middle-aged beauties disappeared.

Immediately, the surrounding space shifted, and Ian Song and Lena Yu suddenly found themselves in a primitive forest.

"Sir, what’s going on?" Lena Yu exclaimed in shock.

Ian Song waved his hand. "Don’t panic. Breaking this array will take me only a moment!"

After a brief explanation, Ian Song activated his Clairvoyant Vision and quietly observed the grand array.

Upon inspection, Ian Song realized that Vivian Gee’s array was truly extraordinary, creating a small, independent pocket space with a labyrinthine structure. Anyone else falling into it would be trapped until death.

But for Ian Song, it was nothing.

Though the space was ingeniously designed, it was Ian Song who was trapped.

Ian Song drew his sword and slashed through the air.

With a flash of sword light, the pocket space shattered instantly.

The grand array was broken, and the world returned to normal.

Vivian Gee reappeared before Ian Song, her face full of shock.

"You... you actually broke my Dragon Trap Grand Array in just one move?" she exclaimed.

"Vivian Gee, you promised to answer my questions. Now, talk."
