Grandson Older Than His Grandfather

Hearing this, Vivian Gee felt a surge of indescribable bitterness. She had spent over forty years preparing the Dragon Trap Grand Array.

But all those years of effort were destroyed by Ian Song in the blink of an eye. The feeling was impossibly complex, and for a moment, she realized that even if she spent decades more preparing, she would never be Ian's match.

He really was a hopeless opponent.

Yet almost immediately, a surge of extreme unwillingness welled up inside her. She said coldly, "All of you, come out!"

With a flash of movement, nine early Heaven-Human experts appeared.

Three women and six men, all over fifty, with calm, almost wooden expressions.

"Ian Song, these nine are Heaven-Human experts I cultivated using the resources of the whole world. If you can defeat them, I'll let you dispose of me as you wish!" Vivian Gee's gaze swept over the nine, her eyes filled with hope.

The Dragon Trap Grand Array was designed to trap the enemy in a labyrinth, but this Nine-Palace Killing Array, formed by nine early Heaven-Human experts, was a true killing formation. Even Vivian herself, with mid Heaven-Human cultivation, couldn't last ten breaths inside.

"Unless you use every trick you have, you'll never be convinced. Today, I'll make you admit the gap between us!"

Ian Song strode forward, each step heavy and deliberate, his tone filled with overwhelming confidence—like a force swallowing mountains and rivers. Lena Yu watched, her heart stirred, eyes full of admiration.

"I can't believe you're still so confident after sixty years!" Vivian Gee seemed shaken by Ian's aura, her voice strained.

"Confidence comes from strength. Sixty years ago, neither you nor your master could defeat me. Sixty years later, I can still crush you!"

Faced with Ian Song's words, Vivian Gee finally lost her composure and shouted to the nine, "Form the Nine-Palace Killing Array! Kill him, and I'll grant you your freedom!"

Hearing this, a spark returned to the nine's previously wooden faces. Each was a rare martial genius, but Vivian Gee had enslaved them with special methods, forcing them to serve her. Now, with a chance at freedom, their true blood boiled.

The nine moved into position around Ian Song, taking up the traditional palace spots: Qian, Kan, Gen, Zhen, Center, Xun, Li, Kun, and Dui.

Boom! Boom! Boom...!

In the next instant, the Heaven-Human aura from all nine exploded, surging skyward like rolling smoke, swirling above their heads and quickly merging into one.

Buzz!

As the nine's auras connected, Ian Song felt the environment shift. He was now inside a sealed, secret domain.

This space was saturated with chaos, killing intent, and cold, negative emotions—all meant to erode the mind.

If your mind is invaded, no matter how great your skills, you won't be able to use them.

But Ian Song was a total freak—his spiritual power far exceeded his realm, so his mind was completely immune to outside influence. No matter how fierce the negative emotions, they couldn't affect him at all.

"Here they come!"

The killing intent in the space surged—the nine had launched their attack.

Refined by the Nine-Palace Killing Array, the nine's attack fused into one and, amplified by the formation, reached late Heaven-Human destructive power.

"Heh!"

Ian Song chuckled, raised his hand, and tapped out with one finger.

Pop!

The nine's joint strike was effortlessly broken by him.

Outside the Nine-Palace Killing Array, Vivian Gee trembled at the sight. How could his strength be this overwhelming?

After missing with their first attack, the nine began to gather power for a second strike.

But Ian Song wasn't about to give them the chance.

"Slash!"

He formed a sword with two fingers—his hand transformed into a peerless divine blade.

He slashed at the void, and streaks of silver-white sword qi shot from his fingers.

Puff! Puff! Puff! Puff!

The sealed space formed by the Nine-Palace Killing Array tore apart like ragged cloth.

The nine frantically poured true qi into the array, trying to patch the space.

"Delusional!"

Ian Song grabbed both sides of the spatial rift and tore—instantly, the entire space was ripped open.

He walked out with elegant poise and calmly unleashed nine punches.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The sounds blended together as all nine were knocked flying, spewing blood midair, and by the time they hit the ground, their expressions were utterly defeated.

"Is that all?"

Ian Song looked at Vivian Gee as he spoke.

"Hahaha!"

Seeing her Nine-Palace Killing Array destroyed, Vivian Gee couldn't help but laugh to the sky.

Ian Song just stared at her, his gaze growing colder and colder.

"You may have won, but I haven't lost!"

"Oh? Do you really think you still have a chance to turn things around?" Ian Song sneered.

"Of course I do!" Vivian Gee said darkly. "Ian Song, as long as you agree to one condition, I'll let your grandson go!"

"My grandson?" Ian Song was stunned, then remembered Kevin Ji's familiar features. "You mean Kevin Ji?"

Vivian Gee smiled smugly. "That's right—him. He's your and Princess Jade Fox's grandson, your only blood relative left in this world!"

"What condition do you want me to agree to?" Ian Song frowned.

"I want you to marry me!" Vivian Gee's face suddenly flushed with a hint of shyness.

Ian Song was completely taken aback. He replied coldly, "Do you really think that's possible?"

Vivian Gee lifted her head and stared at him, her voice sinister. "If you don't marry me, I'll make sure your only grandson dies!"

"Damn! You're the most twisted old hag on earth!" Ian Song said, speechless.

"If I'm an old hag, aren't you just an old geezer?" Vivian Gee shot back.

Ian Song shook his head. "You're wrong. Believe it or not, my real age is still under twenty!"

"How is that possible? How could you still be under twenty?"

Ian Song continued, "I don't belong to this world. Actually, I come from another world, and time flows differently here than it does there. More than sixty years have passed here, but only about sixty days have passed in my world!"

"You're lying!" Vivian Gee cried out in disbelief.

"Do you think I have any reason to lie to you right now?"

"I don't care! You must marry me, or I'll kill your grandson!"

"You won't get the chance!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Ian Song suddenly appeared before Vivian Gee, tapped her forehead with one finger, and sent two Puppet Mastery Divine Art sigils into her sea of consciousness.

Under the assault of the two Puppet Mastery Divine Arts, Vivian Gee was enslaved in less than three seconds.

"Where is Kevin Ji?"

Ian Song asked.

Vivian Gee replied, "I've secretly imprisoned him in Cloud Prefecture. Do you want me to bring him to see you?"

After thinking it over, Ian Song shook his head. Having a grandson several years older than himself felt too awkward—better not to meet for now.
