This discovery shocked Evan Yang. He had no idea how this new energy had appeared within his body, but he was certain it was greatly beneficial. It seemed to circulate constantly, moving at incredible speed.
"What exactly happened?" Evan Yang couldn't figure out what had occurred, but he knew his current cultivation was at late Divine Cauldron Realm.
Late Divine Cauldron Realm—when Evan stacked his two-hundredfold power technique with the gauntlets and soul amplification, he could unleash at least six-hundredfold power. His Fly-Fire Boots still granted fourfold speed as before, and Phantom Step Art remained unchanged at sixteen steps. In summary, Evan could now erupt with six-hundredfold attack power and up to hundredfold movement speed.
Everything was even smoother than expected. Evan muttered, "If only I knew what happened at the end, maybe I could have progressed even further."
Thinking about that mysterious sea, Evan desperately wanted to find it again. But now, seeing Phantom Elder, he had no clue where that place was.
Evan also released Elena, Derek, and the others from the Sky-Piercing Tower.
"What about the sea?" Derek exclaimed.
Evan explained helplessly. When Derek learned Evan had unknowingly left the sea, he grumbled, "I wanted to break through to Spirit-God Realm and really experience it!"
"Alright, don't get discouraged. Next time we run into that old guy, we'll make him take us there." Evan said with a smile.
"Really?" Derek laughed.
"You think I'd lie to you? You little rascal." Evan said, laughing.
"So where are we going to play now?" Elena asked. She'd spent ages inside the tower, and that feeling was gone. At least now, she could stay in the Fiend Realm for a few more years before leaving.
"Play? Still thinking about playing? Last time we took quite a beating." Evan shook his head.
Evan's words sobered everyone up. Last time, that Fiend Palace artifact really was terrifying—if not for someone stepping in to save them, who knows what would've happened.
"Alright, you all should head back to the tower. I'll go check out the situation." After thinking it over, Evan sent them back into the tower and went to investigate alone.
"Back to the tower again?" Elena exclaimed.
"Yeah, Master, let us out! Last time was just an accident. If anything happens, we'll jump right into the tower!" Derek also wanted to go out and explore.
Evan glanced at Derek and said, "No way."
"What would it take for us to get out?" Elena asked, frustrated.
"Once you've suffered a loss, you can't repeat the mistake. Just behave and go back to the tower." Evan said.
"Kid, don't forget—my cultivation is still higher than yours." Elena snorted.
"So what?" Evan grumbled.
"Nothing, really. But after you check things out, what do you want to do?" Elena asked.
Evan said, "Let's wait until I figure out what happened. If nothing's wrong, we'll just leave this place."
"Go to the Human World?" Derek asked curiously.
"Yeah." Evan nodded. Only the Human World was really suitable for Elena, and he needed to train more to find the Fenn Family.
"Going back to the Human World again?" Elena sighed.
"We'll talk about it then. For now, just head inside." Evan said.
Everyone saw that Evan kept insisting they go inside. They knew he meant well, so they could only helplessly let him send them back into the tower. As for Evan, he headed for the nearest city—only there could he find out what was really going on. Otherwise, he kept feeling like something was off.
After taking a Hidden Dragon Elixir, Evan went to the busiest place where people discussed things—the inn.
