Dao Convergence

(Chapter 801: Gathering of Dao) "Brother Di, from here to the battlefield of the Creation War, it will take at most half a year. I am certain that once you arrive, you will gain tremendously." As soon as they left Xianhai, Jude Wan immediately expressed his opinion.

He wasn't worried that Joe Di would kill him, but rather that every time he met Joe Di, he would have to flee. Jude Wan had a reputation to maintain; if he kept running away from Joe Di, all the prestige he had built up would vanish.

Joe Di naturally wanted to go to the Creation Battlefield, but before that, he had to ask about the Chaos Realm. Now that he even possessed Ninth-Grade Extreme Glaze Silver, the Chaos Realm should not pose much danger to him.

"Old Rooster, you came here for Extreme Glaze Silver, probably to enter the Chaos Realm, right? Tell me about the Chaos Realm—what kind of place is it? And why is it currently shrouded in poisonous mist?" As Joe Di spoke, he slapped Jude Wan on the shoulder.

Jude Wan shivered. He hadn't expected Joe Di's speed to be so fast, with not a trace of spatial fluctuation, and yet he was already beside him, even giving him a pat. If Joe Di had chosen to attack instead, he would be dead by now.

Jude Wan, who had originally been annoyed by Joe Di calling him 'Old Rooster,' had long since thrown that annoyance out of his mind. "Brother Di, the Chaos Realm was once the place where eight Prime Laws appeared. Legend has it that if you can fuse with one of these Prime Laws, you can open the heavens, live as long as the universe, and gain eternal life..."

Eight Prime Laws? Joe Di was stirred. He recalled the information he had received from the Ninth Prime Law. These eight Prime Laws belonged to the Dao Lord of the Universe—how did they end up in the Chaos Realm?

Could it be that something happened to the Dao Lord of the Universe? Or did these eight Prime Laws, like the Ninth Prime Law, escape to this place?

Joe Di knew that he might never get the answer to this question, unless he could meet the Dao Lord of the Universe. But with his current strength, meeting the Dao Lord would only mean dying faster, like an ant.

"Do you know who took away those eight Prime Laws?" Joe Di immediately asked.

Jude Wan shook his head. "At that time, my cultivation still hadn't recovered, so I wasn't qualified to come here. By the time I arrived, the Chaos Realm had already been searched countless times. What I do know is that every cultivator who obtained a Prime Law became a top-tier powerhouse. It's said that these few eventually opened the Gate of Creation and unlocked the true path to the Holy Dao."

Joe Di waved his hand. "Then tell me why the Chaos Realm can't be entered now. What exactly is that layer of poisonous mist outside?"

Jude Wan quickly replied, "Only Extreme Glaze Silver can partially resist that poisonous mist. I went there once, and there seemed to be a kind of world law aura—like, like..."

Jude Wan struggled for a long time, but still couldn't find the right comparison.

Joe Di frowned, his divine sense falling upon the World Tome.

Immediately, Joe Di was surprised. When he obtained his first piece of Extreme Glaze Silver, he saw its uses recorded in the World Tome: it could be used to refine artifacts and dispel certain types of void poison.

But now, the explanation for Extreme Glaze Silver had changed again. For grades seven and above, its greatest use was not in artifact refinement, but in Dao Convergence.

Dao Convergence?

Joe Di suddenly felt as if he was about to grasp something, yet it was just out of reach. He furrowed his brow, closed his eyes, and remained motionless.

Sensing that something was wrong with Joe Di, neither Jude Wan nor Shane Dwan dared to speak. Quinn Fang, even less so, simply stood guard by Joe Di's side.

Even though he knew his strength was far inferior to Jude Wan and Shane Dwan, if those two ever tried to launch a sneak attack, he would at least have a chance to warn Joe Di.

Only after a whole incense stick's time did Joe Di finally open his eyes. He had figured out some things, but still hadn't grasped the main point.

The explanation for Dao Convergence was rather vague. Literally, it meant the condensation of Dao Laws or the gathering of the Great Dao.

In other words, if his Dao Foundation was shattered, could it really be gathered together again using Extreme Glaze Silver...?

As Joe Di reached this thought, that flash of insight became completely clear. He finally understood—Dao Convergence was absolutely the gathering of Dao Laws.

Most likely, someone in the Chaos Realm had their Dao Foundation shattered, and even lost their life. After many years, a remnant Way Intent finally gained self-awareness, and began trying to gather its own Dao Laws.

Unfortunately, what it lacked was the most important thing for condensing Dao Laws: Extreme Glaze Silver...

How could one get countless cultivators to deliver top-grade Extreme Glaze Silver as quickly as possible? That poisonous mist is the answer.

Joe Di thought of the Dao Lord of the Universe. If the remnant Way Intent in the Chaos Realm really belonged to the Lord of the Universe, then he must go and destroy it.

This wasn't just because he had promised the Ninth Prime Law, but also because he himself had to do it.

Taking advantage of the Dao Lord of the Universe's weakness to eliminate him is the best strategy. Once the Lord of the Universe regains his strength, he will surely realize that the Ninth Prime Law has been taken by Joe Di.

With this thought, Joe Di said to Jude Wan and Shane Dwan, "I'm planning to make a trip to the Chaos Realm. Will you two come with me?"

Jude Wan hadn't expected Joe Di to want to go to the Chaos Realm. He definitely didn't want to go there himself. What he wanted was the battlefield of the Creation War—what good was the Chaos Realm?

All the good things in the Chaos Realm had long been searched out. Moreover, to enter the Chaos Realm, one needed Extreme Glaze Silver armor. He had come to Xianhai for Extreme Glaze Silver only because he heard the secret domain was opening and wanted to get some as a backup. He never really intended to go to the Chaos Realm.

"Brother Di, my cultivation is too low. I don't want to go to the Chaos Realm for now," Jude Wan said apologetically to Joe Di. At the same time, he was ready to flee at the first sign of trouble from Joe Di.

Joe Di didn't bother with Jude Wan any further. He simply said, "Old Rooster, send me the jade slip with the location of the Creation Battlefield. After I finish in the Chaos Realm, I'll head over."

Before Jude Wan could speak, Shane Dwan quickly produced a directional crystal sphere and handed it to Joe Di. "Brother Di, this is the map to the Creation Battlefield. Jude and I might wait for you at the Immortal Junk Void Market."

Jude Wan quickly chimed in with a smile, "Yes, then Brother Di, we'll head off first."

Without waiting for Joe Di's reply, Jude Wan grabbed Shane Dwan, and in a flash, their figures vanished from the outskirts of Xianhai.

After Jude Wan and Shane Dwan disappeared, Quinn Fang bowed and said, "Big Brother, I'm leaving too. I plan to venture out on my own. If I survive, I will surely come back to find you."

Quinn Fang knew that staying with Joe Di would only hold him back. He couldn't accomplish any of the things Joe Di was doing. Since that was the case, it was better to seek his own opportunities.

"Alright, go ahead. Xing Xi shouldn't appear for a while. By the way, don't go to the Chaos Realm." Joe Di didn't keep Quinn Fang. He had originally planned to help Quinn Fang refine a set of Extreme Glaze Silver armor, but after considering the possible reason for the poisonous mist outside the Chaos Realm, he changed his mind.

With Quinn Fang's level of strength, going to the Chaos Realm would only mean delivering Extreme Glaze Silver, not gaining any real benefit.

(The plot is a bit disjointed and the writing feels stuck, so let's stop here for today. If I get stuck on the plot, I'll post a single chapter to let everyone know. Good night, friends!)
