Actually, Evan Yang had already woken up, though he wasn't fully recovered yet. He could walk if he wanted, but instead of getting up, he quietly enjoyed the awkward moment as the woman wiped his body.
After wiping him for a bit, the woman couldn't take it anymore. She quickly found an excuse and left the room. When the little girl returned, she saw only Evan Yang inside, no one else, and was very curious.
Just then, Evan Yang opened his eyes and said to the little girl, "Thank you."
The little girl was startled. She had thought Evan Yang was unconscious, so seeing him get up scared her.
"Don't be nervous, let me tell you something," Evan Yang smiled.
"Immortal, go ahead, I'm listening." The little girl really treated Evan Yang like an immortal, so she responded happily.
"I'm about to leave soon. Tell that big sister that she'll be free in about an hour, so she doesn't need to look for me." Evan Yang said with a smile.
The little girl didn't really understand what Evan Yang meant, but since he told her, she just nodded. She was about to say something when she realized Evan Yang had disappeared.
When the woman returned, she found the place empty. Curious, she walked out and saw the little girl pouring water not far away. She asked, "Where is he?"
"Oh, big sister, you're finally back! Big brother left. He told me to tell you that you'll be free in an hour." The little girl said with a smile.
When the woman heard this, she muttered angrily under her breath, "That jerk, leaving me behind!"
Seeing the woman's face flush and her angry expression, the little girl was startled. "Big sister, what's wrong?"
"It's nothing," the woman replied after a brief pause, holding back her anger.
At this moment, the woman's seal still hadn't lifted, so she couldn't keep up with Evan Yang. By the time her seal dissolved after an hour, Evan Yang was already long gone.
"I'm furious! Evan Yang, just wait—if I ever catch you again, I'll cripple you. And you made me wipe your body!" The woman grumbled inwardly, stewing over everything she'd endured these past few days.
Evan Yang had already left the village, flashing away along the route marked on the village chief's map.
After several hours, he arrived at a big city. "Whew, finally made it out. That woman shouldn't be able to catch up now. Better play it safe and leave this city quickly before she shows up looking for me."
So Evan Yang quickly found the nearest teleportation array and transferred to another city. After jumping through seven or eight cities, he unexpectedly arrived at a bustling place.
This place was the capital of Ethereal Sanctuary, with an enormous area—Evan Yang couldn't even imagine how many planets it spanned.
Originally, he was planning to go to the Lower Sanctuary, but since he ended up in the capital, he decided to take a look around, see what's interesting, and learn more about the Immortal Realm.
The woman, furious, chased all the way to the city. When she released her divine sense and found no trace of Evan Yang, she cursed, "Damn it, just wait until I catch you next time."
So the woman left. When she reappeared, she was already in the capital of Ethereal Sanctuary. She put on a veil and moved about low-key. After a while, she arrived at a manor.
The manor was called Thousand-Miles Manor, spanning roughly 300 miles (a thousand li). Instead of going through the main gate, the woman flashed inside and entered one of the buildings.
She closed the door behind her. Inside, a maid was anxiously pacing. The moment she saw someone come in and was about to scream, the woman took off her veil and said, "Don't shout."
"Miss, you're finally back!" the maid exclaimed with joy.
"Yeah, I was lucky—I didn't get defiled," the woman said angrily.
"Miss, what happened?" the maid asked in shock.
"That day, I just wanted to go out for a walk. Guess who I ran into?" the woman said.
"Who?" the maid asked curiously.
"It was the Deputy Sanctuary Lord's grandson. He heard my father was looking for a son-in-law, but the requirements didn't fit him—even though he's already reached the Profound-Immortal level. You know, I never agreed to this whole marriage selection, so I deliberately made the requirements extremely harsh. That's why he came after me," the woman explained.
"I see. What happened next?" the maid asked in shock.
"After that, he kept asking me why I set the requirements so high. Of course I ignored him. Who knew he'd have someone poison me? If I hadn't reacted quickly, who knows where I'd be now." The woman grew angrier as she spoke.
"Ah! How dare he! I'll tell the Palace Lord!" the maid said angrily.
"Don't. The Deputy Sanctuary Lord has a lot of power and eyes everywhere in Ethereal Sanctuary. Besides, we have no proof. It's better to stay alert. As for his grandson, I'll definitely find a chance to teach him a lesson. He tried to defile me!" the woman snorted coldly.
"Miss, how can we just let this go? Since you disappeared, the Palace Lord has sent people everywhere to look for you. You should tell everyone what happened and let them see the Deputy Sanctuary Lord's family's true colors," the maid said.
"You're too naive. They could easily turn it back on me," the woman shook her head.
"So we're just going to let it go?" the maid asked, unwilling to accept it.
"No way I'm letting this slide. If they're going to play dirty, I'll play dirty right back. That guy's not getting away with it." The woman snorted coldly.
The maid paused, seeming to think of something, then whispered in the woman's ear.
After hearing her out, the woman asked in surprise, "Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm sure. I heard he often goes to that place," the maid said.
"Good, now watch how I deal with him!" the woman said with a cold smile.
"But the Palace Lord said if you come back, you have to go to the palace right away. There are already many people who meet the requirements waiting there for you to choose from," the maid suddenly remembered and said, feeling troubled.
"I'll stall as long as I can. I don't want to pick a husband. Seriously, what is Dad thinking?" the woman said.
"That won't work," the maid said, feeling frustrated.
"Just say I'm sick or out and haven't come back yet. Anyway, you're the only one who knows I'm home," the woman said.
"Miss, you really can't mess this up. If anyone finds out you're back and I didn't report it, the Palace Lord will scold me—especially your sisters and brothers," the maid said, worried. "Don't worry, I won't betray you. For now, I'm going to teach that guy a lesson," the woman said. With a flash, she left again, leaving the maid to sigh, "Out of everyone, why is Miss the most mischievous? Sigh."

The woman arrived at a building, garishly painted in every color. The second floor was open to the street, with all sorts of women standing there—some even had impressive cultivation, at least Earth-Immortal level—but they brazenly flaunted themselves. One called out to a man passing by, "Hey handsome, come up and have some fun. We've got every kind of woman here, guaranteed to satisfy you."
"Ugh, what a gross place." The woman muttered, shivering. She found a spot, disguised herself as a man, and headed over.
Someone greeted her at the entrance. Seeing a stranger, they asked, "May I ask who you are?"
"I'm from out of town. I heard your Fragrant Lily House has all kinds of women, so I came to take a look," the woman said, disguising her voice as a man.
"Then you've come to the right place. Let me show you all the varieties our Fragrant Lily House offers," the greeter said with a smile.
The woman paused, cursing inside, but forced a smile and wandered through the crowd of women, pretending to be interested.
Meanwhile, Evan Yang wandered around the city, gaining new insights into Ethereal Sanctuary. The capital had a massive palace complex where the high-level leaders stayed and held meetings.
"Ethereal Sanctuary has a hall called Ethereal Sanctuary Hall—it looks pretty impressive," Evan Yang muttered after learning about it. He felt he'd learned enough and decided it was time to head back, maybe Wayne Wu's friend had returned.
So Evan Yang got up and prepared to leave. As he approached the teleportation array, he saw a group of people coming out.
The group didn't catch Evan Yang's attention at first, but when he saw the last person, he was stunned and hurried forward. "Heavenly Immortal Wayne, what are you doing here?"
Wayne Wu had thought Evan Yang was abducted and had been searching everywhere. Today, he happened to come to Ethereal Sanctuary's capital to report something, and unexpectedly saw Evan Yang, so he exclaimed in surprise, "What are you doing here? I've been looking for you for days!"
"Don't ask. Bad luck—I was tossed somewhere and only just found my way back," Evan Yang sighed.
"So that's how it is. You really worried me—I thought something happened to you. I even told my mentor, and he told me to find you as soon as possible. He also had some of his former subordinates searching for you," Wayne Wu said.
"Thanks so much. Please tell him I'm fine now, so he doesn't have to worry," Evan Yang said gratefully.
"Alright, I'll message him right away," Wayne Wu replied, and sent the message.
After he finished sending the message, Evan Yang asked, "Are you all here for business?"
"I'm here for business. The others are here to participate in the son-in-law selection," Wayne Wu said.
"Son-in-law selection? It's not over yet?" Evan Yang asked curiously.
"Yeah, I heard the Palace Lord's youngest daughter has disappeared. They're searching everywhere for her now," Wayne Wu said.
"Oh? She's missing too? I wonder what kind of woman she is. Could she have been kidnapped as well?" Evan Yang said.
"I don't know about that, but I doubt anyone would kidnap her. If they did, it'd probably be for some purpose and they'd negotiate with the Palace Lord. But it's been days, and the Palace Lord hasn't disappeared—it's more like she ran away on purpose," Wayne Wu said.
"So you mean the Palace Lord's daughter is stubborn? Or is she running away from marriage?" Evan Yang said offhandedly.
"Shh, don't say that so loudly! If someone hears you, it'll ruin her reputation and you'll get in trouble," Wayne Wu quickly signaled Evan Yang to stop.
Evan Yang didn't expect Wayne Wu to react so strongly, so he switched to voice transmission. "So we're not allowed to talk about it?"
"Yeah, we're not allowed. A lot of people who missed the son-in-law selection because they were away are rushing over now. Why don't you give it a try?" Wayne Wu said.
"Do I look like that kind of person to you?" Evan Yang replied.
"Uh, probably not. But it's good you're not going—competition is fierce with so many people," Wayne Wu said.
