Noah Qiu continued operating the formation until, one day, the man inside opened his eyes. This was none other than the Saint Spirit Sect diviner, though at the moment his mind was unclear.
"Done," Noah Qiu said, then sent word to Nangong Palace Lord.
Upon receiving the news, Nangong Palace Lord immediately rushed over with Elder Simon Spring. However, Noah Qiu's activation of the formation just now was noticed by some passing Emperor‑Realm experts, who sensed something unusual and hurried over.
Some who didn't recognize Noah Qiu simply ignored him and turned away, leaving him to worry for nothing.
"Scared me to death—I thought it was someone else," Noah Qiu muttered after those people left. Just as he relaxed, another person arrived. Upon seeing Noah Qiu, the newcomer erupted in fury: "So it was you! Noah Qiu!"
Noah Qiu looked closely—it was an old enemy, and a troublesome one at that. He sneered, "Senior Brother Mu, how have you been?"
"Don't call me Senior Brother! You, who killed our master and stole his treasure—I will kill you today!" The man called Senior Brother Mu was Marvin Mu, from the same powerful Formation Sect as Noah Qiu. Passing by and sensing something abnormal, he came to investigate, only to find Noah Qiu.
"Senior Brother, why are you still so stubborn? Our master clearly agreed to pass the inheritance to me, but ended up choosing you. I think he was just confused, so..." Noah Qiu sneered.
"Noah Qiu, you escaped me several times before—let's see where you run today!" Marvin Mu couldn't win the argument but hated Noah, so he immediately began setting up a formation.
"Senior Brother Mu, we've tangled for so many years without a clear winner. Let's settle it today—and show you my true strength." Noah Qiu snorted, secretly amused: "Once Nangong Palace Lord and Elder Simon Spring arrive, let's see where you run."
Marvin Mu had no idea Noah Qiu was scheming against him. Driven by rage, he only wanted to capture Noah, cripple him, and drag him before their master's grave to repent.
To make Marvin Mu believe he was fighting for real, Noah Qiu didn't hide his strength at all, fully engaging in the confrontation.
Time ticked by. Both men's formations came from the same source, so they knew how to create and break them. Neither had much advantage left—it was purely a contest of endurance.
Marvin Mu was determined: just a bit more effort and he could defeat Noah Qiu. Meanwhile, Noah was simply waiting for his allies to arrive.
Soon, two more people appeared at the side. Marvin recognized one immediately—Palace Lord of Ethereal Sanctuary. At that point, the two fighters separated.
"Nangong Palace Lord, you finally arrived. But before anything else, do me a favor," Noah Qiu said with a smile.
Seeing Noah Qiu's expression, Marvin Mu instantly sensed trouble. He turned to Nangong Palace Lord and said, "Palace Lord Nangong, this is our sect's business. Please don't interfere."
Nangong Palace Lord hadn't expected to walk into such a dilemma. He hesitated, but soon put his interests first—he needed to find Evan Yang, and only Noah Qiu could get him the diviner.
"Brother Mu, I don't know what grudge exists between you and Brother Qiu, but right now, I must help Brother Qiu," Nangong Palace Lord said.
Marvin Mu was shocked. "Palace Lord Nangong, are you really going to meddle in our sect's affairs? Noah Qiu is a recognized enemy—aren't you afraid other sects will look down on you?"
Nangong Palace Lord hesitated, but Noah Qiu laughed, "Isn't it simple? If you die here today, no one will ever know."
Nangong Palace Lord was startled—he hadn't expected Noah Qiu to suggest killing Marvin Mu. Marvin himself was shocked by the idea.
But Nangong Palace Lord was no coward. Having made his decision, he would see it through. He replied, "Alright."
"You all—" Marvin Mu exclaimed in alarm.
"Elder Simon Spring, join us. Only with all three can we track down that guy's whereabouts." Nangong Palace Lord knew Marvin Mu was tough—if they wanted to prevent his escape, it would take three.
Elder Simon Spring nodded. The three formed a triangular formation, making it impossible for Marvin Mu to escape as their combined force pressed him down.
"Damn you! I'll make sure everyone knows what you've done. You want to kill me today? Dream on!" Marvin Mu roared in fury.
"Enough talk—let's go!" Noah Qiu had long wanted to deal with Marvin Mu, but lacked the strength. Today, he planned to use Nangong Palace Lord and Elder Simon Spring's power to suppress him.
With three joining forces, their power surged, pinning Marvin Mu down. He suffered repeated injuries, and soon his once-whole body was riddled with wounds.
Now, Marvin Mu was gasping for breath. "Don't get cocky. You may have won by teaming up, but to destroy me? Keep dreaming."
After finishing, Marvin Mu waved his hand, and a black spatial gate appeared before him. Noah Qiu was shocked, "Stop him!"
Nangong Palace Lord and Elder Simon Spring didn't know what the black space was, but quickly acted. All three attacked it, but only a splash-like sound came out, then everything calmed and Marvin disappeared.
Noah Qiu cursed furiously. Nangong Palace Lord realized their plan had failed, but was curious about what had just happened. He asked, "Brother Qiu, what was that black space?"
"That's a shuttling gate!" Noah Qiu replied angrily.
"Shuttling? What do you mean?" Nangong Palace Lord asked suspiciously.
"Do you know what sect we belong to?" Noah Qiu asked.
"I've heard your sect is the strongest among the three great formation sects," Nangong Palace Lord replied.
"That's right. Our Formation Sect once produced a spatial genius who created a gate for shuttling through space, allowing travel to almost any destination," Noah Qiu explained.

"What?" Nangong Palace Lord exclaimed in shock.
"That shuttling gate has almost no restrictions—you can go anywhere you want. That's why it's called an invincible spatial array. The one who created it, we call Patriarch Shuttlegate. He disappeared long ago, never to be seen again," Noah Qiu explained.
"So that shuttling technique just now was Patriarch Shuttlegate's ultimate art?" Nangong Palace Lord asked in shock.
"You could say that, but not exactly. Marvin Mu only learned a flawed version left behind by our sect. It has defects—risk of spatial cracks and only allows short-range shuttling," Noah Qiu said.
"I see. Still, that's terrifying. Now, who knows where he's gone or if he'll spread word about what happened," Nangong Palace Lord said anxiously.
"He has no evidence. Even if he talks, so what? As long as everyone stays calm after this, your Ethereal Sanctuary won't give him any leverage," Noah Qiu analyzed quickly.
"That's all we can do. I wonder how that guy is now?" Nangong Palace Lord knew there was no avoiding the issue—just deny everything later.
"As expected, it's finally done. Come out," Noah Qiu said with a smile.
As soon as he finished, a figure appeared in the distance—the Saint Spirit Sect diviner. Seeing him, Nangong Palace Lord laughed, "Excellent! How do I control him?"
"I'll send you the method now," Noah Qiu replied. He transmitted the secret technique to Nangong Palace Lord, who, after mastering control, smiled, "Thanks."
"Yes, thank you for your help today, Palace Lord Nangong," Noah Qiu said.
"Brother Qiu, you're joking—he still escaped," Nangong Palace Lord sighed.
"Don't worry. He may have gotten away, but he'll definitely cause you trouble. Just deny everything, and I'll help you from the shadows. We'll deal with him together," Noah Qiu said.
"Excellent. I'll head back now—contact me if anything comes up," Nangong Palace Lord replied.
"If Marvin Mu comes for you again, let me know immediately," Noah Qiu said.
"No problem," Nangong Palace Lord nodded.
Noah Qiu left, while Nangong Palace Lord and Elder Simon Spring happily found a hidden spot and summoned Terry Yang.
Hearing the diviner had awakened, Terry Yang came over, curious.
Once all three were present, Nangong Palace Lord commanded the diviner, "Find Evan Yang's whereabouts."
"I'll have my sect investigate right away," the diviner replied, sending the message to Saint Spirit Sect.
The three curse specialists in Saint Spirit Sect were shocked and delighted to receive the diviner's message. They tried the Body‑Clinging Curse again to see if it would work on Evan Yang.
About half an hour later, the controlled diviner spoke: "He is faintly visible, but still invisible."
"Invisible?" Terry Yang was the most sensitive—he'd been troubled by an invisible figure recently. Hearing this, he was shocked, and Nangong Palace Lord and Elder Simon Spring were surprised as well.
"Did you find out where Evan Yang is?" Nangong Palace Lord asked.
"I'll ask again," the diviner replied, beginning his inquiry.
The reply came: "That's all the information we have. You'll have to search yourself. The sect has received word that he's invisible, but they'll use a method every quarter hour to force him to appear. Everyone is to watch for anyone suddenly appearing—that will be Evan Yang."
Nangong Palace Lord was skeptical, but Terry Yang was shocked and suspicious: "Could Evan Yang and the invisible figure be connected? Or are they actually the same? Seems unlikely..."
Thinking it over, Terry Yang asked Nangong Palace Lord, "Who is Evan Yang?"
"He's from Ethereal Sanctuary, and..." Nangong Palace Lord began recounting Evan Yang's history.
When he heard Evan Yang was from the Northern Faction, Terry Yang jumped up. "It's possible—very possible!"
"Possible what?" Nangong Palace Lord asked, confused by Terry's words.
"He—Evan Yang—is the invisible man I've been talking about, the one who ruined my plans!" Terry Yang exclaimed, extremely agitated.
