College Entrance Exam

With Commissioner Lewis Liu and the others watching, Ian Song sped away in his Phantom S1, leaving them in the dust.

Logan Long asked Lewis Liu curiously, "Commissioner, who was that? You even came in person!"

Lewis Liu glanced at him coolly and said, "Keep your eyes open in the future. That young man is someone important. Do you know who called to handle this?"

"Was it someone from the Party Committee or the city government?" Logan Long naturally assumed Ian was connected to the Party Secretary or Mayor.

"Neither. It was the Nangong Family!"

With that, Lewis Liu strode off, leaving Logan Long stunned. He muttered, "Damn, so it's the Nangong Family. No wonder Commissioner Liu showed up for something so minor!"

...

In the car, Hannah Han stared at Ian Song curiously. "Ian, who did you call just now?"

"Want to know? Give me a kiss first!" Ian leaned his face closer.

"So cheeky!" Hannah scolded, but still gave Ian a quick kiss on the cheek.

"It was Nathan Nangong!"

Hearing that name, Hannah Han's expression changed sharply. "Why would he be willing to help you?"

"About that, it goes back to last time. Didn't I beat up Justin Nangong? After he got in a car accident and woke up, he sent people to get revenge on me. I had no choice but to fight my way into the Nangong estate and beat up their people. After that, Nathan Nangong finally accepted reality and stopped causing trouble for me. I was just trying my luck calling him earlier, but I didn't expect he'd actually help!" Ian said, half joking, half serious.

Ian made it sound so casual, but Hannah knew that his solo confrontation with the Nangong Family must have been extremely dangerous—and it all started because of her.

Thinking of this, she was deeply moved and said to Ian, "Pull over!"

"Why?" Ian looked at Hannah, puzzled.

"Just do it!" Hannah ordered, face serious.

With no choice, Ian pulled over to the side of the road.

As soon as the car stopped, Hannah suddenly leaned in and kissed him on the lips.

Ian was stunned for a moment, then cupped her soft, delicate face and kissed her back.

The kiss lasted a full five minutes.

When they finally parted, both of them were breathing heavily.

"Sister Sha, why so passionate all of a sudden?" Ian licked his lips and joked, "You kissed me so hard my lips are swollen!"

Hannah shot Ian a look, blushing a little. "Stop pretending to be innocent when you got what you wanted! Come to my place tonight—I'll unlock a few new positions for you!"

"Whoa!"

Ian was overjoyed. Even though he and Hannah had already crossed that line, they'd always been pretty conservative. Ian had asked to try some moves he'd seen in certain movies, but she'd always refused—until now.

Driving fast all the way, Ian finally arrived at Hannah's single apartment.

As soon as the door closed, he wrapped his arms around Hannah's slender waist and kissed her cherry lips with aggressive passion.

"Mmm!"

Hannah let out a soft moan and responded enthusiastically.

For some reason, Hannah was unusually passionate tonight, as if something had triggered her.

They hadn't even made it to the bedroom before their clothes were stripped down to just their underwear in the heat of the moment.

"Love me!"

As their lips parted, Hannah's face was flushed red, her eyes half-closed as she spoke.

Ian couldn't resist such an invitation and fell onto the bed with Hannah in his arms.

............

Several days passed in a flash, and soon it was the day of the college entrance exam.

Over the past few days, Ian had used the Nangong Family's manpower to search everywhere for Wade Wang, but still couldn't find him. Most likely, Wade had already left Riverstone City.

With no other options, he contacted the Fu Family and Hai Family, adding them to the search along with the Nangong Family.

Besides that, his uncle's family had already moved into the villa at Central City International. Thanks to the Nangong Family's influence, his uncle Stephen Song was finally promoted to director of the Education Bureau.

Another noteworthy event: Ian passed on the Origin-Nurturing Scripture to Hannah.

He didn't want to stay young-looking for decades while Hannah aged into an old lady.

With his help—and even spending his own true essence to cleanse her marrow—Hannah reached late Postnatal stage after just a few days of practice. Now, her skin was radiant, delicate, and practically flawless.

This also made the young, unmarried male teachers at school chase after her even more aggressively.

After discussing it, Ian and Hannah agreed that after the college entrance exam, she would resign from teaching. Otherwise, their relationship would surely become the subject of gossip.

With Hannah's approval, Ian decided to open a boutique jade jewelry shop in Riverstone City and let her manage it.

After all, he had seven hundred million yuan worth of jade in his storage ring. If all of it was carved into jewelry, the price would at least double.

Once he had the idea, Ian immediately began making arrangements.

He didn't have to worry about the storefront. After asking Nathan Nangong for help, he found a more-than-500-square-meter shop in a bustling district within two hours.

And since Ian wasn't short on money, he immediately bought the shop and hired a renovation company to start the work.

Lost in thought, Ian had already arrived at Riverstone No. 2 High School.

There were five test centers for this year's college entrance exam, and Ian's assigned location was Riverstone No. 2 High School.

The Education Bureau took this exam extremely seriously. Every candidate had to pass through a security check before entering, to prevent cheating. Rumor had it the exam papers were even escorted by armed police.

Signal-blocking devices were installed in the exam rooms.

So, it was really difficult for anyone to cheat in such an exam environment.

When Ian entered the exam room, he glanced around and realized he didn't recognize a single person there.

"Hey, bro, how are your grades?" A tall boy with a face full of acne leaned over and asked in a low voice.

"They're alright," Ian replied calmly.

"Then let me copy off you during the test!" The tall boy's eyes lit up.

"No way!" Ian refused flatly. He wasn't a saint, but he wasn't about to help a shameless cheater either.

"Damn, you're tough!" The other student flipped Ian off, then turned to ask another classmate.

The preliminary bell rang. Two proctors entered the classroom and sternly warned everyone.

Then, two armed police officers escorted the exam papers in, making all the students feel the pressure.

After the papers were handed out, there was a short wait before the exam bell rang and students were allowed to begin.

Ian glanced over the test and saw that this year's questions were much harder than last year's. Of course, for him, it was nothing.

He finished answering in less than forty minutes, checked his work, and got ready to hand in his paper. Just then, his neighbor whispered, "Let me see your sheet—I'll give you 200 yuan!"

Ian ignored him and raised his hand.

Seeing Ian raise his hand, the student panicked, thinking Ian was about to report him, and quickly bowed his head to pretend to work.

"What's wrong?" The proctor came over and asked calmly.

"I'm finished. I'd like to turn in my paper!"

Turning in your paper after just forty minutes drew a lot of attention. Many students looked at Ian—some with disdain, some with contempt. Naturally, they all assumed he was giving up, not realizing he'd already finished.

"Go ahead."

The proctor glanced over Ian's sheet and saw he'd really answered everything, so he nodded.
