Shawn Young smiled, ignoring the flustered doctors. He casually sent out several bursts of true energy, purifying the evil toxins lingering in the air. Then he asked Mai Kanda to withdraw the barrier, walked over to Fiona Nangong and Samuel Morin, and said, "I've figured out a way to track down those three guys! Get ready, gather some top fighters, and follow me—we're going after them!"
"Uh—Shawn, how did you figure out where those three killers went!?" Samuel Morin asked in surprise.
"Heh—because their aura is still lingering here. By following these traces, I can track them down easily!" Shawn Young explained.
"Oh? Shawn, you really can find those three killers? Should I send more people to help out?" Samuel Morin's eyes lit up.
"No need for too many. Judging by the traces they left, there are only three of them, but they're tough. If we bring too many people, we'll just alert them and risk more casualties. Just pick a few skilled fighters to go with us!" Shawn Young replied.
"Yeah, true. If we spook them, it'll be a pain if they run!" Samuel Morin nodded, then turned to discuss briefly with Fiona Nangong. After a moment, he turned back to Shawn Young and said, "Alright then, Shawn, why don't you pick the right people from our Iron Vanguard to join you?"
"Sure, that works. Where are they?" Shawn Young agreed instantly.
"Here—these are our best fighters! There are a few more with Brother Dongfang!" Samuel Morin said.
"Alright, then let's pick the ones who sparred with me last time. They're all pretty good!" Shawn Young said.
"Uh—well… alright!" Samuel Morin hadn't expected Shawn Young to make such a request, but thinking about it, those guys who sparred with Shawn were indeed the best among the Iron Vanguard. He agreed, then waved over a subordinate, gave him a few instructions, and sent him off.
Less than three minutes later, the subordinate returned with three men: Ethan Zhao—the Piercing Kick School master who'd sparred with Shawn Young before—his top disciple Jack Chen, and Simon Qi from the Emei Sect. As soon as the three saw Shawn, they froze, faces awkward, not knowing what to say. After all, their crushing defeat at Shawn's hands and the terror of nearly dying was still fresh in their minds!
"Oh—you three are all respected martial arts seniors. About last time, I owe you an apology!" Shawn Young said, quickly extending an olive branch.
"Uh, it's fine, it's all in the past. Sparring's just part of the game! If you're not as skilled, losing happens. No need to be so formal, young man!" Simon Qi replied, taking it in stride.
"Hmph—if I get the chance, I'll definitely challenge you again! But let's focus on business for now. If you need us, just say so!" Ethan Zhao and his disciple had nearly died at Shawn's hands, so he still felt a mix of resentment and fear. But out of respect for Samuel Morin, he kept things professional.
"Haha—sure! Once business is done, you two can challenge me anytime. But right now, I really do need your help for something important!" Shawn Young smiled.
"If it's official business, no problem. What do you need us to do?" Ethan Zhao asked.
"I just need you three to come with me to find the ones who attacked your fellow fighters. I’ll soon know exactly where they are! If you feel uncomfortable with that, I can always find someone else!" Shawn Young teased.
"No problem! We're in!" Ethan Zhao answered right away.
"Great, that's the spirit! Let's not waste any more time—let's head out now!" Shawn Young said, then called to Colonel Hank: "Big Brother Hank, you drive. Let's roll!"
"Oh—got it!" Colonel Hank answered right away, then headed off to get the car. Shawn Young grabbed Mai Kanda, greeted Samuel Morin, and with Ethan Zhao, Simon Qi, and Jack Chen in tow, turned to leave.
"Wait—I’m coming too!" Fiona Nangong suddenly chased after them.
"Uh—why are you coming? Miss Nangong, this isn’t a game!" Shawn Young frowned at her.
"Hmph—you think I’m useless? Afraid I’ll slow you down?" Fiona Nangong glared, clearly annoyed.
"Uh—I wouldn’t dare look down on a Nangong lady! But you really shouldn’t come—" Shawn Young tried to brush her off, turning away to leave.
Just then, Fiona Nangong did something that stunned everyone—she darted over, grabbed Shawn Young’s arm, and pressed her curvy body tightly against him, clinging to him like a beautiful snake. She muttered, "I’m going, and if you’ve got the guts, try shaking me off!"
"Uh—" Shawn Young instantly broke out in sweat. Dealing with Fiona’s antics, he couldn’t hit her, couldn’t scold her, and was completely at a loss.
"Heh heh—see? You dared look down on me, and now you know who’s boss!" Fiona Nangong was in high spirits, delighted at having stumped Shawn Young.
Shawn Young shot her a helpless glare, but Fiona just ignored his 'angry look' and pressed even closer, striking a "I'm a beauty, who am I afraid of?" pose.
"You—" Shawn Young was getting a headache. He knew Fiona Nangong was skilled, but her status was special and she lacked combat experience. If trouble broke out, he’d have to protect her, especially since their enemies this time were seriously tough!
"What? I’m sticking to you and not letting go! What are you gonna do about it?" Fiona Nangong shot him a provocative look and grinned. Shawn Young could only fantasize about dragging her to a corner, yanking off her dress, and spanking her perky butt—then...
