Man of Action

Although the Special Police Department booked Landon Lu a first-class cabin, the room itself wasn't very spacious. Besides a single bed for resting, there was only a small round table and two little round stools.

It's nothing fancy, so don't let it bother you.

Landon pointed to the little round stool, then took a drink from the fridge and handed it to Donna Dong.

Thanks.

Donna Dong smiled.

After chatting with Donna Dong for more than half an hour, Landon had a basic understanding of the situation on the Tenth Natural Planet.

On the surface, the Federation has already established control over the Tenth Natural Planet, but in reality, resistance forces there remain quite active.

Celestia is about twice the size of the Homeworld, and its inhabitants are all of East Asian descent. Before the Federation invaded, the planet was still in a feudal era, with more than a hundred countries of various sizes.

Because the Tenth Natural Planet was previously a resource-poor world, the Federation's development there lagged far behind other planets. But a few months ago, a probe robot discovered a highly valuable rare metal with a large reserve.

Because of this rare metal, the Federation decided to ramp up development and plans to build more than fifty new cities, each designed for five million residents.

With new cities, there naturally comes the need for administrators. Ian Song, David Zhao, and their group are being sent to serve as Special Police base commanders in these new cities.

As for Donna Dong's 96th Division, their main role is to escort and protect the mining operations, preventing sabotage from resistance forces.

The journey from the Homeworld to the Tenth Natural Planet takes about two days.

"That's right, but we're more than just classmates. This guy has had a crush on me since high school—I only found out recently!" As she spoke, Donna Dong suddenly got up and sat next to Landon, wrapping her arm around his.

Ian spends most of his time in his cabin, studying the history of the Tenth Natural Planet.

Landon nodded, and the two of them went together to the ship's restaurant.

It's called that because the native races all claim to be descendants of the gods.

Celestia is about twice the size of the Homeworld, and its inhabitants are all yellow-skinned people. Before the Federation invaded, the planet was still in a feudal era, with more than a hundred countries of various sizes.

Landon replied calmly. Right then, a tall, handsome young man strode into the restaurant. His gaze swept the room, and when he saw Donna Dong sitting with Landon, his eyes instantly turned cold. He walked straight over.

"Hey, Landon, don't be so petty—are you really mad?" Donna Dong called after him. "I only did that because I had no choice!"

Landon still said nothing; he just walked faster.

Knock, knock.

Landon opened the cabin door and turned to Donna Dong. "I'm going to rest now, so I'm not inviting you in. You should head back."

"Come on, I'll treat you to a meal," Donna Dong invited.

Landon didn't say another word—he just walked into the room, with Donna Dong following right behind.

Suddenly, Landon spun around and pinned Donna Dong against the door, his eyes glinting with a hint of mischief.

Under Landon's gaze, Donna Dong suddenly felt nervous, as if he'd seen right through her. She stammered, "What are you trying to do?"

"We're on a ship. Just having something to eat is good enough."

Ian replied calmly. Right then, a tall, handsome young man strode into the restaurant. His gaze swept the room, and when he saw Donna Dong sitting with Ian, his eyes instantly turned cold. He walked straight over.

"Xiaowan, didn't you say you didn't want to eat in the restaurant? Why are you here now?" The young man glared at Donna Dong, sounding a bit angry. Earlier, he'd invited Donna to eat, but she turned him down—only to show up here with another guy.

"What does that have to do with you?"

Donna Dong's face suddenly turned cold. She glanced at him and replied icily.

Hearing Donna's words, the young man's face darkened. He gritted his teeth and looked at Ian. "You've always refused me—is it because of this guy?"

"So what if it is? So what if it isn't?" Donna Dong's voice was still icy.

"Fine! Very well!" The young man was so angry he was practically shaking, his eyes now full of resentment. He pointed at Ian and said, "How does this guy compare to me? I'm a Major, a ninth-level Warrior, and a Psychic Adept! Tell me, in what way is this guy better than me?"

"In my eyes, you can't even compare to a single strand of his hair."

Donna blurted out the words, but as soon as she did, her face turned red. She sneaked a glance at Ian, who was still calmly eating.

"What? You mean I can't even compare to a strand of his hair?"

The young man was furious, his eyes blazing as he glared at Ian. "Hey, you! I challenge you—do you dare?"

Ian finally looked up, meeting the young man's gaze calmly. Then he said slowly, "Are you crazy?"

"What did you say?" The young man looked stunned.

Ian sighed and continued, "I said you're crazy! Listen, Donna Dong and I are just high school classmates. If you want to chase her, go ahead—why drag me into it?"

"You're just classmates?" The young man stared suspiciously at Ian and Donna Dong.

"That's right, but we're more than just classmates. This guy has had a crush on me since high school—I only found out recently!" As she spoke, Donna Dong suddenly got up and sat next to Ian, wrapping her arm around his.

Seeing this, the young man was so angry he was about to explode. He glared fiercely at Ian. "You little punk, are you messing with me?"

"Would you believe me if I said none of that's true?" Ian replied, looking innocent.

"Like hell I would!"

With that, the young man stormed out of the restaurant in a rage.

At that moment, Ian quietly got up and headed back to his cabin.

"Hey, Landon Lu, don't be so petty—are you really mad?" Donna Dong called after him. "I only did that because I had no choice!"

Ian still said nothing; he just walked faster.

Seeing this, Donna Dong hurried after him.

Ian opened the cabin door and turned to Donna Dong. "I'm going to rest now, so I'm not inviting you in. You should head back."

"Who are you to me? Why should I listen to you?" Donna Dong snorted.

Ian didn't say another word—he just walked into the room, with Donna Dong following right behind.

Suddenly, Ian spun around and pinned Donna Dong against the door, his eyes glinting with a hint of mischief.

Under Ian's gaze, Donna Dong suddenly felt nervous, as if he'd seen right through her. She stammered, "What are you trying to do?"

Ian chuckled and leaned in close to Donna Dong's ear, whispering, "Here's a warning: leave my room right now, or deal with the consequences."

Donna Dong protested, "I'm not leaving! What are you going to do about it?"

"Mmm...!"

Ian didn't answer her with words—he let his actions speak for themselves.
