"Listen carefully. Today may be the day the Demon Mask Sect disappears from the Magus Heaven Realm, so you must leave and go to the place I told you about," said Victor Ming.
"Dad, what are you saying? Let's fight our way out! We have to kill them!" Mira Ming said angrily.
"Mira, you know the Demon Mask Sect's true strength. Honestly, I've long expected this day to come. The Tian Clan isn't easy to deal with," said Victor Ming.
Hearing this, Mira Ming said sadly, "Dad, it's all my fault. If it weren't for me, you wouldn't be like this, and neither would the sect."
"It's not your fault. Actually, as far as I know, the Tian Clan has long wanted to make our Demon Mask Sect their subordinate. I just never agreed before. This time, their marriage proposal to you is just another way to do it, so don't feel guilty. They've been planning this for a long time. I just didn't expect they'd use the Demon Tiger as their excuse," Victor Ming said.
"Dad, since they're after the Demon Tiger, let's just give it to them," Mira Ming said.
Victor Ming shook his head and said, "It's useless. Even if they take the Demon Tiger, the Tian Clan will use the opportunity to wipe out our Demon Mask Sect and then recruit our people."
"Damn Tian Clan! I'm not done with them yet. I'm going out now to settle the score!" Mira Ming said angrily.
"Don't go. I need you to do something even more important right now," Victor Ming said.
Mira Ming asked, "What is it?"
"Take this box, leave here, and find your aunt. You should know where to go. Once you're there, give her this box—she'll know what to do," said Victor Ming.
"Is it to call for reinforcements?" Mira Ming asked.
"Sort of. Now hurry and go," Victor Ming said.
Mira Ming hesitated for a moment, picked up the box, and said to Victor Ming, "Dad, be careful."
Victor Ming nodded. Mira Ming then left through the rear cave entrance with Liam Yang. Before Liam left, Victor Ming sent him a voice transmission: "I'm counting on you. Make sure you take good care of her."
Liam Yang was stunned for a moment. Seeing Victor Ming's look, he knew he had to do his best no matter what, so he turned and left, following Mira Ming as they disappeared from the area.
After leaving, Mira Ming didn't pause for a second, taking Liam Yang with her. After several hours, the two arrived at a remote mountain peak.
"Is this the place?" Liam Yang asked curiously.
"Yes, it's on this mountain," Mira Ming nodded, then led Liam Yang down to the foot of the mountain, where there was a small wooden cabin. Mira Ming approached the door and called, "Aunt, are you there?"
"Mira? Come in," a voice called from inside. Mira Ming pushed the door open and saw the Demon Tiger inside, with a woman cultivating nearby. Liam Yang guessed this must be her aunt.
"Aunt, so the Demon Tiger was here with you all along?" Mira Ming exclaimed in surprise.
"Mira, why are you here?" the woman asked curiously, stopping her cultivation.
"My dad asked me to give this to you," Mira Ming handed the box to the woman. When she saw the box, she was both shocked and angry. "Who? Who wants to wipe out the Demon Mask Sect?"
"The Tian Clan, Aunt. But how did you know someone wanted to destroy the Demon Mask Sect?" Mira Ming asked suspiciously.
"This box contains a secret letter from your father. I haven't read it yet, but I know he would only give it to me if the sect was in grave danger. Wait here, I'll read it now," the woman said, then opened the box and began reading its contents.
After finishing, the woman frowned and sighed. "So that's how it is."
"Aunt, hurry and send someone to save my dad and the others!" Mira Ming urged anxiously after seeing her reaction.
"No need. Your father already instructed us to wait here for him," the woman replied.
Mira Ming frowned, "What? Impossible! My dad wouldn't do that. Why would he have me leave alone?"
"It's true, I'm not lying. If you don't believe me, you can see for yourself." The woman took out a slip of paper and handed it to Mira Ming, who read it and exclaimed in shock, "How could this be?"
Liam Yang didn't know what was written on the slip. He took it, glanced at the contents, and exclaimed in surprise, "What..."
It said that Victor Ming wanted Mira Ming and Liam Yang not to look for them anymore, and to wait here instead.
Mira Ming couldn't believe it. Before leaving, Victor Ming told her they were going to seek help, but now it turned out this way, making her anxious. "My dad lied to me."
"What did he tell you?" her aunt asked curiously.
Mira Ming replied, "My dad said I should come here and ask you for help."
"Looks like your father didn't want you to take risks. By the way, you haven't introduced this person yet?" Her aunt looked at Liam Yang, whose skin was as black as a stone, and asked curiously.
"He's my friend, Liam Yang," Mira Ming said, though she wasn't in a good mood.
She was waiting for news from Victor Ming. Liam Yang could see her worry. After thinking for a moment, Mira Ming said, "Aunt, I think I should go back and look for my dad."
"No, your dad said not to look for him. If he comes back and can't find you, what then?" her aunt replied.
After hearing her aunt's words, Mira Ming had no choice but to stay. Time passed bit by bit—an hour, two hours, three hours—and still there was no news. Finally, Mira Ming couldn't stand it anymore and said, "I'm going to go check."
"I'll go with you," her aunt finally said helplessly. She accompanied Mira Ming and Liam Yang back to the Demon Mask Sect. When they arrived, the place was a scene of utter devastation—dead bodies everywhere, destruction everywhere, not a single survivor.
Seeing the scene, Mira Ming was furious and searched the area for her father, but couldn't find him. She frowned and said, "Where's my dad?"
"If your dad isn't here, it means he's safe. Let's leave quickly before the Tian Clan finds us," her aunt said.
"Where would he go?" Mira Ming anxiously searched the area.
Her aunt finally said, "Let's go back for now. We'll figure it out later."
Helpless, Mira Ming followed her aunt, hoping to spot her father along the way. After a while, they returned to her aunt's place.

There was still no news of her father. Her aunt comforted her, "Just wait. Your dad will definitely bring useful news."
Mira Ming had no choice but to wait at the door.
Meanwhile, at the Tian Clan, Tian Buqun was accompanied by Ming Xiao. Tian Buqun asked, "Ming Xiao, don't you hate me?"
"Brother Buqun, it's my father who doesn't understand. How could I not understand? I've always wanted to be with you," Ming Xiao said.
"Good, that's what I like. Now your father, your sister, and that black-skinned guy—all three are missing. Do you know where they might have gone?" Tian Buqun asked.
"Let me think. If my father wanted to find someone, it'd only be a few close friends or relatives. The one he trusts most is my aunt," Ming Xiao said.
"So you mean they might be at your aunt's place?" Tian Buqun asked.
"Yes, probably," Ming Xiao said.
"Alright, let's go. We'll seize the chance to find them." Tian Buqun said, then led a large group toward his aunt's place. On the way, Ming Xiao muttered, "Don't blame me. You brought this on yourselves."
After a while, Mira Ming was startled to see many Tian Clan members appear around them. "What's going on?" she exclaimed.
Her aunt came out, frowned at the scene, and said, "Looks like someone betrayed us. Who could it be?"
Liam Yang and Mira Ming scanned the area and saw Ming Xiao beside Tian Buqun. Mira Ming, furious, shouted, "Ming Xiao, you—!"
"Sis, why don't you get it? Brother Buqun said it's not too late for you to change your mind. You can still be his wife," Ming Xiao said.
"Dream on! Where's Dad? What did you do to him?" Mira Ming said angrily.
"Dad? He didn't come back? That's strange," Ming Xiao said. Tian Buqun laughed, "Enough with the family talk. No one here is getting out alive today."
Just then, Xu Zhi exclaimed happily, "My Demon Tiger is here!" He transformed into an adult, and the Demon Tiger inside the cabin shook, then leaped out to Xu Zhi's side.
"Damn it, even the Demon Tiger got taken away," Mira Ming's aunt said angrily.
"You two, let me take you away. There are too many enemies—we can't beat them," Liam Yang said after thinking for a moment.
"You have a way out?" Ming Xiaoxi's aunt asked curiously.
"If you're scared, then leave," Mira Ming said.
"I'm not scared of dying. I'm saying, if we stay alive, we'll have a chance. If you insist on fighting, what's the point?" Liam Yang said helplessly.
"Mind your own business. Just leave. This has nothing to do with you," Mira Ming said angrily.
Her aunt looked at the two, then said to Liam Yang, "You should go. We'll handle things here."
"That's right. You're not part of the Ming family. There's no need for you to get involved," Mira Ming said.
Liam Yang said, "But I'm your companion, aren't I? What, are you changing your mind now?"
"Change my mind? Not really, but there's no choice. Things are like this now. As for your antidote, here, take it and leave," Mira Ming handed Liam Yang the antidote.
Liam Yang said helplessly, "Now I really can't leave. Forget it, I'll stay with you guys."
"You!" Mira Ming glared at him.
Seeing Ming Xiaoxi and Liam Yang like this, Tian Buqun was annoyed. He said angrily, "Hmph, how long are you two going to put on this show? Today, I'll wipe you all out!"
"Be careful," Mira Ming's aunt said. She placed her hand on the ground, and suddenly a tall protective barrier appeared around the three, shielding their position.
"A barrier? Let's see if your barrier can withstand so many attacks," Tian Buqun sneered.
Everyone focused their attacks on the formation.
"Mira, listen carefully. This formation won't last long. There's a passage here for you to escape. Leave as soon as you can, and don't come looking for us. Your father already notified me to keep you here for your safety, but I didn't expect they'd find us anyway," Mira Ming's aunt said.
