First Probe of the Ancestral Court

"Void Behemoth?"

Quinn Shepherd frowned, and both Noel and Grant did the same.

Quinn had inherited the Creators’ wisdom from the Ancestor-Spirit Realm, including records about Void Behemoths.

Void Behemoth—one type of primordial giant beast found in the Ancestral Court. These monsters roam the void, appearing and vanishing at will, and were among the most fearsome predators of the Primordial Age. Noel and Grant exchanged glances.

Only the Creators’ powerful divine sense can control a Void Behemoth; in the Primordial Age, all other races were helpless before them.

They slip through the void, devouring stars and even entire heavens.

What kind of disaster would summoning a Void Behemoth bring? Grant and Noel both looked uneasy.

Grant’s eyes flickered, and a faint smile appeared on his face.

Noel sighed, his expression wooden.

Quinn shivered, sensing the killing intent radiating from Noel. He knew that if Loren Shaw insisted, Noel would strike without hesitation.

Noel’s goal was to find the Creators’ surviving kin, but if Loren actually summoned a Void Behemoth from the Ancestral Court, it would mean Loren had lost control. Grant watched closely.

At that point, killing Loren would be the safest choice—Noel’s resolve was clear.

Suddenly, Quinn said calmly, "Loren, is it possible to verify whether this is the Creators’ Ancestral Court without actually summoning a Void Behemoth? I’ve heard they’re almost impossible to restrain and devour anything. If you can’t control it, wouldn’t that spell disaster for all?" Noel’s gaze was sharp.

He’d been trying to protect Loren, hoping to change history—this was yet another attempt to save him. Noel’s presence made the situation tense.

If Loren had left the Grand Void without meeting Quinn, he would’ve died long ago, never returning with the Three Predictions. Quinn had gone to great lengths to keep this young Creator alive.

He had to ensure this piece of history remained intact. Grant’s eyes narrowed.

Loren hesitated, thinking hard, then admitted, "My divine sense isn’t strong enough to subdue a Void Behemoth. The clan chief only taught me how to summon that one type of primordial beast—he never showed me how to summon the others." Noel watched Loren closely.

Quinn suggested, "If summoning is possible, it must be two-way. Our minds and divine sense can link with the Void Behemoth—not only to summon it, but also to probe its location through that connection."

Loren looked completely lost.

But Grant and Noel understood. Grant probed, "Reverse summoning?"
