"How is that possible!" Captain Lee stared in Evan's direction as he spoke.
"Do you have any ideas?" Seeing Captain Lee's expression, Captain Ling asked suspiciously.
Captain Lee sneered, "Watch me." He then took out another bottle, this time a blue one.
"What's that?" Captain Ling eyed the blue bottle, still suspicious.
Captain Shaw was also curious about the bottle.
Captain Lee chuckled, "This is lure-beast powder. With this, we'll definitely draw out some savage beasts. Let's see if he can still get out safely."
"Lure-beast powder? Where'd you get it? Don't tell me it's from the black market?" Captain Ling was both shocked and delighted.
"That's right, heh heh." Captain Lee clicked his tongue and laughed.
"But if we get too close, he'll notice us. How do we get the powder over there?" Captain Shaw asked curiously.
Captain Lee thought for a moment, then said, "We need someone to act as bait."
"What do you mean?" Captain Ling sensed something was off and asked.
"It means you put this powder on someone, then when you get close, open the bottle. He'll notice, but after that, the other two attack together, and all three of us leave at once. As long as we have another kind of powder, the savage beasts will only chase him, not us," Captain Lee explained.
The other two felt the plan was risky, but right now it was the most practical option. After some discussion, they decided Captain Shaw, the fastest, would handle the task, while Captain Lee and Captain Ling would take care of rescue and retreat.
Once the plan was settled, the three flashed over to Evan's position.
At this point, pretending not to notice would be overdoing it, so Evan turned and smiled, "You guys came too?"
"If you're here, of course we can come too," Captain Lee replied.
"Oh? But you're late. I've already picked all these," Evan said with a smile.
"Mind if I take a look?" Captain Shaw couldn't think of a way to get close, so he casually asked.
Evan smiled, "You want to see?"
"Yeah." Captain Shaw nodded.
