Selina Knows Nothing at All

Lily Bai nodded, "Mm-hmm! She said her daughter was already gone, and seeing me was like seeing her own child again. If anyone so much as touches a single hair on me, she swore she'd make them die a horrible death!"

Lady Serena said nothing.

High God Felicity Quinn also stayed silent.

But the Celestial Empress’s expression changed.

Lily Bai put on a serious face and said, "Honestly, I think she might not be all there! She’s locked up in that Array herself—how could she possibly protect anyone?"

"Little Fish, you just don’t get it!" Mia Quinn piped up. "She’s scary powerful! Even sealed away in there, she can kill anyone she wants across the Three Realms and Ten Wilds!"

"Huh? Really?" Lily Bai looked genuinely spooked.

"Besides that, what else did you do?" High God Felicity Quinn asked.

"After I gave her the wine, she collapsed—stopped breathing almost right away—so I left. Then two Palace Guards and Young Master Drake went in to check, and they all said she was dead. But when Young Master Drake went in, he seemed to touch her body and got hit with Demonic Poison. He ran off to the Spirit Alliance to find my good friend Luna Lian for treatment, but Lian-Lian seems to have some grudge against him and wasn’t too keen to help. But that really has nothing to do with me! I have no idea what kind of beef they have..."

Felicity Quinn: "That’s it?"

"Mm." Lily Bai nodded.

"Your Majesty the Celestial Empress, it seems like she didn’t actually do anything wrong!" Felicity Quinn said.

"It doesn’t matter whether she did anything wrong. The fact is, Bianca Whitefan is still alive, and Leo Drake has turned into something not quite human, not quite ghost." The Celestial Empress said coldly, "The White Clan failed their mission, so they must be punished!"

Felicity Quinn couldn’t help but laugh: "Ridiculous! You send a barely teenage little immortal to kill someone in a place where not even gods dare go? And now you want to hold her accountable for failing? Your Majesty, are you trying to make me die of laughter?"

"I have my reasons for doing things this way!" the Celestial Empress replied calmly. "Bianca Whitefan’s barrier was sealed for a hundred years and suddenly opened—it’s probably a sign of change. The Oracle calculated that only someone from the White Clan could kill her! If I don’t put pressure on them, how would they ever give it their all?"

High God Felicity Quinn fell silent for a moment. "Then, Your Majesty, how do you intend to deal with Lily Bai?"

The Celestial Empress was just about to speak when, suddenly, a Palace Guard came rushing in, flustered and shouting that something terrible had happened!

"You clueless fool! Can’t you see we’re busy here? What’s so terrible?" The Celestial Empress’s gaze was icy.

"Someone delivered a package, said it’s from the Third Prince! They said it must be handed to Your Majesty right away, or the Third Prince’s life will be in danger!"

"His life is in danger?" The Celestial Empress’s expression changed as she took the package.

When she opened the exquisitely wrapped box, inside was a pair of freshly severed, blood-soaked hands!

There was a small red mole on Nathan Xiao’s right hand.

The Celestial Empress spotted the red mole at once, shot to her feet, and asked the Palace Guard, "Who delivered this?"

"No idea. The package just drifted over, and then a voice said that one sentence."

"Sean Shaw! It must be that bastard Sean Shaw!" The Celestial Empress looked ready to eat someone alive as she demanded, "Did the messenger say anything else? Where is the Third Prince?"

The Palace Guard shook his head. "That voice only said that one thing."

The Celestial Empress suddenly turned to glare at Lily Bai.

Lily Bai zipped behind Felicity Quinn, poking her head out. "Your Majesty, you’re not going to blame me again, are you? This little immortal knows nothing!"
