From the very start of construction, Cherry Miller had noticed that the soil and rock layers here bore the marks of time. She hadn't expected a tomb to be discovered on the mountain—what a surprise.
"Remember that mountain crevice where you lost your phone?" Yina Yin also whispered, "I was curious about how it got so deep, so I had people dig around. Who would have thought, after digging for a while, we collapsed the edge of a tomb. Shuangshuang Yun has a sharp eye—she immediately recognized it as a burial pit from the late Eastern Han Dynasty. Our Yin family doesn't get involved with this kind of thing, so I called the Cultural Relics Bureau right away."
Cherry Miller sighed and said, "There's nothing we can do, we have to postpone it."
To him, Mason Ming's situation was honestly just a minor thing.
Ethan Yin nodded, "This estate belongs to my mother, but we are authorized to handle matters on her behalf."
Cherry Miller greeted them, "Hello, everyone. I'm Cherry Miller, the manager of Sunset Manor. If you need any assistance, just let us know. Protecting national relics is everyone's responsibility. Sunset Manor will fully cooperate, but please be careful during the excavation not to damage our existing facilities."
While the two were chatting, the staff who had finished inspecting the site were all beaming with joy. They practically wanted to grab Ethan Yin's hand and deliver a speech of thanks a thousand words long: "Oh, thank you so much! The site is so well protected—it's really rare! The country will definitely appreciate your hard work!"
"Not at all, it's just what we should do." Ethan Yin replied politely, then led the group away from the site and back to the villa to discuss the excavation.
Ethan Yin and Cherry Miller followed them to the site, where Yina Yin, Sam Shang, and Yuzhen Yin were talking with the workers.
From a distance, Yina Yin waved at Cherry Miller.
But after living half his life, he didn't want to make any other changes.
Taking care of a few more children is all he can do for Gu Xixi now.
Cherry Miller, as the chief special assistant of Yin Group, naturally understood the scope covered by Ethan Yin's few simple words. She nodded immediately and said, "I get it. No wonder you were interested in Bluey I bought."
"Bluey is still too low-end," Ethan Yin chuckled. "It's just a first-generation semi-intelligent product. What we're aiming for is something better and more advanced."
"Then you two are going to have a tough time for a while," Cherry Miller said in a low voice. "Take good care of yourselves out there."
"I know, you too." Ethan Yin felt sweetness in his heart.
Even just a word of concern from Cherry Miller could make Ethan Yin feel incredibly happy.
After dinner, Ethan Yin took Cherry Miller back to Sunset Manor. As soon as they got out of the car, they saw a vehicle driving up from the foot of the mountain.
Before Cherry Miller could ask, the security guard at the gate hurried over and said, "Ms. Miller (Housekeeper), you probably don't know yet. Just now, a tomb was discovered on the mountain, and they say it might be a burial site from the Eastern Han Dynasty. The young lady took a look and immediately called the Cultural Relics Bureau. That car is probably from the bureau."
Cherry Miller nodded.
From the very start of construction, Mi Xiaoying had noticed that the soil and rock layers here had the marks of time. She hadn't expected a tomb to be discovered on the mountain—what a surprise.
Yin Yuhan chuckled, "Well, looks like your phase two project is going to be delayed."
Mi Xiaoying sighed and said, "There's nothing we can do, we have to postpone it."
As they were talking, the Cultural Relics Bureau's car pulled up and several staff members got out, their faces full of excitement. "Excuse me, who is the owner of this manor?" one asked.
Yin Yuhan nodded, "This estate belongs to my mother, but we are authorized to handle matters on her behalf."
Mi Xiaoying greeted them, "Hello, everyone. I'm Mi Xiaoying, the manager of Sunset Manor. If you need any assistance, just let us know. Protecting national relics is everyone's responsibility. Sunset Manor will fully cooperate, but please be careful during the excavation not to damage our existing facilities."
"Of course," the staff replied happily. "Can we take a look at the site first?"
"Of course," Yin Yuhan nodded.
Yin Yuhan and Mi Xiaoying followed them to the site, where Yin Yinuo, Shang Xiaojin, and Yin Yuzhen were talking with the workers.
From a distance, Yin Yinuo waved at Mi Xiaoying.
After Cherry Miller walked over, she asked in a low voice, "How did we end up digging up a tomb?"
"Remember that mountain crevice where you lost your phone?" Yina Yin also whispered, "I was curious about how it got so deep, so I had people dig around. Who would have thought, after digging for a while, we collapsed the edge of a tomb. Sharon Yun has a sharp eye—she immediately recognized it as a burial pit from the late Eastern Han Dynasty. Our Yin family doesn't get involved with this kind of thing, so I called the Cultural Relics Bureau right away."
The Yin family is wealthy enough that they truly don't care about a burial pit.
These things have been buried underground for years, full of yin energy. If not handled properly, they could easily affect Sunset Manor's feng shui.
So Yina Yin made a quick decision and reported it immediately.
Cherry Miller nodded, "Well, that's a pleasant surprise. Once these things are moved out, we can fully renovate this part of the mountain."
Since excavation was about to begin, all production activities on the mountain had to be suspended.
This meant some interests would be affected, so everything needed to be discussed thoroughly.
With Yin Yuhan around, it was no surprise that the local leaders would offer some compensation.
Watching Yin Yuhan lead the group away, Mi Xiaoying said, "Looks like we can't stay here anymore. You all were hoping to stay a few more days!"
Yin Yinuo waved it off, "For people like us, does it really matter where we live? Mom and Dad are so busy they barely stay here, anyway. Plus, those guys have had enough fun—they should head back to their own companies to work. This is the perfect excuse to send them back to the office."
Mi Xiaoying tried not to laugh, "So does that mean I, as the manager, have nothing to do now?"
"It's a good chance for you to rest! You've been exhausted taking care of those troublemakers lately." Yin Yinuo openly favored her, "I'm giving you a vacation. Come back to work whenever things are settled here."

"By the way, I arranged for Ming Xin to stay in one of my apartments. I overheard some gossip today—Qin Zhong seems determined to win Ming Xin over, apparently because he couldn't win over Ming Xin's mother back in the day." Mi Xiaoying immediately shared the gossip she'd heard with Yin Yinuo.
Yin Yinuo said with some surprise, "There's actually a story like that? Qin Zhong really is regressing. Oh well, since we've helped this far, let's see it through! Where's your apartment again?"
"Dehai Apartments on Shunjiang Road," Mi Xiaoying replied.
Yin Yinuo thought for a long moment before saying, "I remember those apartments were developed by the Shang family, right? Didn't they give each of us a unit back then?"
Cherry Miller nodded with a smile, "You remember? Back then, Shang Xiaojin was upset with her family and wanted to run away from home—it was the two of us who helped bring her back. The Shang family was so grateful they gave us two top-tier apartments. You refused to accept them and said to put them both under my name. I couldn't turn down such generosity, so I accepted."
"There's another one?" Yina Yin asked.
"Yes, it's right next door," Cherry Miller replied. "The two apartments are symmetrical east-west units, each a spacious five hundred square meters. It's a shame they've sat unused all these years."
Yina Yin said, "It really is a shame. Since this place is about to become a construction site and we can't stay, let's just move to SeaView Residences for a few days. Shaohuai and Shang Xiaojin are heading home, Ziyue is being dragged off by his godfather for experiments, Yunchen and Shuangshuang are going to Province Y, and although Yuzhen has nothing to do, I heard his dad found plenty for him. So, the two of us are the freest—let's go stay there and warm up the place."
Of course, Cherry Miller had no reason to refuse.
Miles Gu and Ethan Yin were heading out for business, and Cherry Miller worried that Yina Yin, with her carefree personality, might get herself in trouble, so she decided to stick with her.
So Cherry Miller said right away, "I'll arrange for someone to clean up the place—should we move in today?"
"Sure," Yina Yin agreed readily.
So, that day, everyone left Sunset Manor and went off to handle their own business.
Miles Gu and Ethan Yin really were busy—they left that afternoon.
The others also left one after another around sunset.
Once the owners left, the lively Sunset Manor became quiet.
Cherry Miller arranged for workers and security guards to take shifts, ensuring Sunset Manor's safety and smooth operation.
Everyone else who wasn't needed was put on rotation for time off.
The little robot Bluey seemed to sense the separation and even recited a farewell poem, making everyone laugh out loud.
"If you can't bear to leave Bluey behind, let's just bring it to the apartment," Yina Yin said, seeing Cherry Miller's reluctance. "Neither of us likes being disturbed, and with Bluey around, we won't need to hire anyone for cleaning."
"Okay!" Cherry Miller instantly cheered up, patting Bluey on the head. "Bluey, do you want to go to a new home with me?"
Bluey's display screen immediately showed a red heart: "Yes! Bluey doesn't want to be apart from you, sis."
After everything was arranged, Yina Yin and Cherry Miller set off for SeaView Residences on Shunjiang Road.
Bluey obediently lay in its packing box and was sent along with them.
When they arrived at Dehai Apartments, Mi Xiaoying let Blue Gem out, turned it on, and said, "Blue Gem, this will be your new home for a while. You'll be in charge of all the cleaning here."
Blue Gem blinked, "Blue Gem will definitely complete the task!"
With that, Blue Gem started measuring the apartment and planning its cleaning route.
Blue Gem really lived up to its reputation as a housekeeping robot, diligently working without complaint.
Knock, knock, knock—
Someone was knocking at the door.
Mi Xiaoying and Yin Yinuo turned to look and saw Ming Xin standing at the door in shock. "You two are living here too?"
Mi Xiaoying smiled and nodded, "Looks like we'll be neighbors for a while. Please take care of us."
Ming Xin's face flushed instantly. "No, no, I should be the one asking you to take care of me! Thank you for letting me stay."
