The Wine Is Poisoned

Elder Liu's expression changed dramatically, and he hurried after the Palace Lord, trying to salvage the situation.

Evan Yang followed Faye Gale out of the Crimson Sanction Hall, while Mason Liu was escorted away by the hall's guards.

"What kind of place is Fiend Abyss?" Evan Yang asked curiously.

"It's the harshest punishment in Fiend Palace," Faye Gale replied with a smile.

"How harsh is it?" Evan Yang asked, still curious.

Faye Gale thought for a moment, then said, "It's a place that can make people lose themselves, go mad, and in the end ****."

"Is it really that bad?" Evan Yang said in surprise.

"Of course," Faye Gale said with a laugh.

"Looks like he's doomed," Evan Yang replied.

"Serves him right for trying to drug me," Faye Gale snorted coldly.

"What's your relationship with the Fiend Palace Lord?" Evan Yang asked curiously. He never expected Faye Gale would actually bring the Palace Lord here.

Faye Gale just smiled and said nothing, refusing to answer Evan. At that moment, a thunderous sound echoed through Fiend Palace.

"What's going on?" Evan Yang frowned. This was the first time he'd heard such a sound.

Faye Gale was startled. "This is bad—something big is happening!"

"What is it?" Evan Yang asked, confused.

"Whenever something major happens in Fiend Palace, it always sounds like this. Come on!" Faye Gale hurriedly pulled Evan along.

The two of them quickly followed the sound and found it was coming from the Crimson Sanction Hall. The hall was in chaos, with heavy casualties everywhere.

"What happened?" Faye Gale cried out, helping up a member of the Crimson Sanction Hall.

The person replied, "Elder Liu took people and forcibly took Mason Liu away."

"What?" Faye Gale was shocked, and Evan Yang also hadn't expected Elder Liu would resort to force. Just then, the Fiend Palace Lord appeared, and seeing the scene, he was furious. "Unbelievable!"

Elsewhere, similar sounds erupted, everything happening so suddenly.

Especially in the Tracking Hall, where many were loyal to Elder Liu, causing a slew of new problems.

Some rare medicinal herbs from Hundred Remedies Hall were also taken, and many were severely injured.

After receiving all the reports, the Fiend Palace Lord grew furious. "All elders, assemble in the main hall!"

The news quickly spread throughout Fiend Palace. Many elders rushed to the main hall. Evan Yang asked curiously, "Should we go too?"

"Yes, let's go," Faye Gale replied, eager to see what was really happening.

Soon, Evan Yang and Faye Gale arrived at the main hall, which was located in the upper right corner of Fiend Palace—a black building. Inside, more than a dozen elders had gathered, along with four first-class generals and dozens of second-class generals.

At the same time, they could hear the Fiend Palace Lord's angry voice: "I want a full-scale manhunt for the Liu Family!"

"Palace Lord, this is going to be a problem," someone said, frowning.

"What kind of problem?" the Fiend Palace Lord asked, struggling to contain his anger.

"Most of the Tracking Hall are Liu Family people, trained by the Liu Family. If we use Tracking Hall, we might never find them. If we don't, searching the whole Fiend Realm will be even harder," the person explained.

That hit the mark. The Fiend Palace Lord fell silent, and Faye Gale knew the Liu Family's power came from controlling key departments.

"Isn't there anyone else in Tracking Hall we can use?" the Fiend Palace Lord asked.

"That's hard to tell," the person replied.

Everyone knew that anyone recruited by the Liu Family was likely controlled—whether by drugs or other means. That's how they kept Tracking Hall in their grip.

The main hall fell silent again, until the Fiend Palace Lord spoke: "Elder Shaw, it's up to you. See how many people in Tracking Hall are still usable."

Elder Shaw understood what that meant and withdrew. Everyone waited. About half an hour later, Elder Shaw returned, exhausted and with a grim expression. "Palace Lord, we've got a problem."

"Speak," the Fiend Palace Lord said, already prepared for bad news.

"There are over a thousand people in Tracking Hall, but aside from a few new arrivals, everyone else has been compromised," Elder Shaw sighed.

"Can any of them find Elder Liu's whereabouts?" the Fiend Palace Lord asked.

"No," Elder Shaw replied.

"Damn it," the Fiend Palace Lord muttered. He never expected Elder Liu would rebel, and now he couldn't catch him—the man was long gone.

Everyone could only stand there until the Fiend Palace Lord spoke again: "Everyone, dismiss for now. Keep monitoring the Liu Family. If you spot any Liu Family members, seize them immediately. If you can't, report to me."

"Understood." The crowd responded and left.

The Fiend Palace Lord stayed, frowning. "Why are you here?"

"With things like this, how could I not come?" Faye Gale sighed.

"Damn it, that Liu Family is truly hateful," the Fiend Palace Lord snorted coldly.

"They've left, and they won't dare come back," Faye Gale replied.

"The Liu Family leaving isn't the real issue—it's that Tracking Hall is a special department of Fiend Palace. I never thought they'd leave so many hidden tricks behind," the Fiend Palace Lord said.

"Then just recruit new people," Faye Gale replied.
