Either Fulfill the Contract or Pay Up

Yara Song turned her head and glanced at the young man sitting there.

The young man stood up and walked past her, never once letting his gaze linger on her.

"Has he finally figured out where he stands?"

Yara raised her eyebrows and muttered to herself.

She had thought that someone as shameless as that guy would try to strike up a conversation or make some sort of connection as they got off the plane.

But now, it seemed he didn't have any other intentions at all.

A group of people lined up, got off the plane, and were sent to the exit.

Outside, the cars that had been waiting were already parked in the lot.

Just as Yara was about to get in the car with Victor Wu.

"Excuse me, Yara, did you forget something?"

Someone spoke up from behind.

"What is it?"

Yara was startled by the question and turned to look. Not far away, a man was walking over with a smile on his face.

"Sorry, my friend, Yara has something to do right now. She's not available for autographs or photos."

Seeing the man approach, Victor Wu immediately stepped forward to block his way.

"Autograph and photo?"

The man laughed and reached out, shoving Victor aside. "Sorry, I'm not interested in autographs or photos."

Victor was caught off guard, staggered, and nearly fell.

He frowned. "Are you looking for trouble?"

As Victor spoke, he signaled the driver waiting by the car with his eyes. Soon, two burly men got out of the vehicle.

They were the bodyguards assigned to protect Yara during her trip to Hong Kong for the film festival.

The two men quickly rushed to Victor's side, glaring fiercely at the newcomer.

"Yara, get in the car first."

Victor waved his hand, signaling Yara to go ahead.

Yara nodded, unfazed by the situation—she'd dealt with crazed fans before.

Male fans could do anything, but luckily Yara had plenty of people on her side. The other guy was alone, so he probably wouldn't cause much trouble.

"Hold on, who said you could leave? You haven't fulfilled your contract—trying to walk away?"

The man wasn't in a hurry. He shouted at Yara, then pulled out a stack of papers and waved them at her. "Yara Song, think carefully! If you leave now, be ready to pay a hundred million yuan in breach penalties!"

A hundred million yuan in breach penalties!

"Are you crazy?"

Hearing this, Victor was shocked, and Yara's heart skipped a beat. She couldn't help but turn and look at the man.

"When did I ever sign a contract with you?"

Yara stared at the man, utterly confused and furious at his confident attitude.

"It's all in black and white. If you don't believe me, let your manager take a look."

The man finished speaking and showed the contract to Victor Wu. "It's all written out. From now on, Yara Song is my signed actress. She has to follow me to the crew for a rushed shoot."

"If she's not willing, then pay up—a hundred million yuan in breach penalties. That's her own signature right here."

Victor glanced at the contract, saw the terms, and then noticed Yara's signature at the bottom. He was stunned.

"You're the one who asked her for an autograph on the plane!"

Yara was stunned, her mind blank for a moment before it all clicked.

Back on the plane, thanks to Evan Lin, her identity had been exposed.

Suddenly, a bunch of people started asking her for autographs.

Because they were all in first class, these people were either rich or powerful, at least had some money, and might even have special connections.

So Yara didn't turn anyone down—everyone who asked for her autograph got one.

But her mind was still partly on that strange boy, so she didn't notice anything shady while signing.

This man clearly took advantage of her distraction and got her to sign right on the contract terms.

"Miss Yara, you remember now?"

The man grinned. "Since you remember, it's time to make your choice."

"We're all reasonable people here. Either come with me now and fulfill the contract, or pay the hundred million yuan penalty for breach."

"How about it? I've already given Miss Yara plenty of face, haven't I?"

He said this leisurely, clearly convinced he had Yara completely cornered.

"You're clearly just taking advantage of the situation! I had no idea about this contract—it's not valid at all!"

Yara was furious and snapped at him.

"So Miss Yara is planning to breach the contract, then?"

The man wasn't fazed, just smiled calmly.

"Bro, that's just not cool. You're clearly bullying us because we're new here, right?"

Victor gave him a fake smile and signaled the two men beside him with his eyes.

He subtly stepped forward. "We're all decent people. You and I both know how this contract was signed."

"How about you give us some face? When you have time, I'll bring Yara to have a meal with you, and we call it even. What do you say?"

While Victor was talking, the two men quietly edged forward.

"Just call it even?"

The man laughed. "No way. If not, just breach the contract and pay up."

"So you're just refusing to take the face I've given you!"

Seeing they were close enough, Victor's face turned cold and he suddenly charged forward, shouting, "Grab the contract and tear it up!"

He roared and was the first to rush in.

The other two didn't hesitate and charged in at the same time.

After all, the guy with the contract didn't look like much of a fighter.

"Oh, so you're planning to snatch it by force?"

Seeing Victor and the other two move, the man sneered and stood his ground, unfazed. "I've been in this business for years, and no one's ever tried to snatch anything from me."

Keith Yang finished speaking.

Victor and the other two were almost right in front of him.

In an instant.

A lean, combat-trained young man darted out from the side, moving like a leopard. In a flash, he reached Keith Yang and landed three lightning-fast kicks.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three heavy thuds echoed.

Victor and his two men were sent flying.

They crashed to the ground, faces pale as death. Victor was in so much pain he rolled on the floor.

"You trash dare act tough in front of me?"

Keith Yang sneered, kicked Victor again, then turned to the stunned Yara Song. "So, Miss Yara, what's it going to be?"

"The contract's in my hand. Are you going to fulfill it or breach it? Give me a straight answer."

Keith Yang looked at Yara and grinned.

"You..."

Yara was so frightened her face turned pale. She stared at Keith Yang, gritting her teeth. "The guy who talked to me on the plane earlier—was he one of your people too?"

She suddenly remembered that unusual young man from earlier.

Back then, she thought he was just some idiot.

Now it seemed like it was all part of the plan.

"That kid you mentioned?"

Keith Yang shook his head. "That idiot? No way he'd be one of my people."

"But honestly, I should thank that idiot. If it weren't for him, I might not have gotten Miss Yara's signature so easily."

Keith Yang grinned. "If I ever run into him again, maybe I'll consider..."

He was holding the contract and talking, but before he could finish his sentence, he suddenly felt his hand empty.

The contract that was in his right hand vanished in an instant.

Vanished?

Keith Yang was stunned. He turned his head and saw that, somehow, a young man had appeared beside him.

For some reason, the contract was now in the young man's hand.
