"Thank you for the compliment." Joe Di had already calmed down. This man was indeed powerful, but now that Joe Di had regained control of space, he could escape at any moment. No matter how strong the opponent was, he would not simply surrender.
Although Zach praised Joe Di's cultivation method, it was clear he didn't take Joe Di seriously. As for Zane Han, in Zach's eyes, he probably wasn't even worth mentioning.
After addressing Joe Di, Zach fixed his gaze on Lucas Pearl and let out a low chuckle. "Of the few in Genesis City who have caught my attention, you're one of them. The fact that you can sense my presence means you have some skill. But tell me, why oppose me? Are you aiming to become the foremost in the Chaotic Cosmos?"
"I wouldn't dare," Lucas Pearl replied, his tone now calm. He suspected that Zach had already broken through his shackles and stepped into a new realm.
Zach shook his head. "Whether you dare or not is irrelevant—your actions are pointless. First, even if you join forces, you can't kill me. In a way, I am already immortal. Second, even if you did kill me, you still wouldn't become number one in the Chaotic Cosmos. You think too highly of yourself. The reason you stand here isn't because you're stronger than others, but because you've had opportunities they never did. That's all there is to it."
Lucas Pearl could only remain silent. If Zach's arrival had been unexpected, his overwhelming strength was even more so. When someone's power reached a certain level, all schemes became meaningless.
"You'll come with me in a moment. I need your help with something. Relax, I won't take your life." Zach didn't waste any more words on Lucas Pearl; his tone was calm, but his intent was unmistakably commanding.
"Yes." Lucas Pearl didn't dare object in the slightest. He knew that if he did, Zach would kill him without hesitation. As for Joe Di and Zane Han, they definitely wouldn’t intervene. First, their group hadn't even formed before Zach appeared. Second, Zach's strength far exceeded their expectations. Not to mention Joe Di and Zane Han—even if Lucas Pearl made a move, he would be doomed.
Zane Han was different from Joe Di. Although his cultivation was stronger, he lacked Joe Di's ability to remain unbound as long as his will existed. At this moment, like Lucas Pearl, he was trapped by Zach's domain. Any movement, and he sensed death was imminent.
Zach's gaze swept over Joe Di and Zane Han. He spoke with quiet authority, "You two will help me as well. There's something I want beneath the City Lord's Manor in Genesis City. Destroy the manor for me, and I'll retrieve it myself..."
Zane Han dared not move, but Joe Di sensed something was off. He noticed a tiny flaw in the domain that was locking him down—not because his will could move, but because the domain itself was imperfect. Joe Di's mastery over cosmic laws was nearly flawless, allowing him to detect even the smallest vulnerabilities.
As soon as Joe Di’s laws stirred, Zach sensed it and abruptly turned his gaze back to Joe Di.
Joe Di didn’t wait for Zach to act or speak. He immediately summoned Fate’s Loom. An arrow forged from Moment’s Edge was nocked onto the longbow, unleashing a violent, time-infused killing intent.
The instant Fate’s Loom was unleashed, Joe Di was tense to the extreme. If Zach made a move, it would be now. Clearly, Zach didn’t truly regard Lucas Pearl and Zane Han as mere bystanders. If he acted now, Lucas Pearl and Zane Han might desperately counterattack. Even if he wasn’t afraid, he could still be injured, and he wasn’t willing to take that risk.
Of course, it was also possible that Lucas Pearl and Zane Han were so intimidated by Zach’s domain that they wouldn’t dare make a move.
Joe Di was relieved that when the killing intent of Fate’s Loom swept out, Zach merely stared at him and did not attack.
Fate’s Loom, weaving life and death into oblivion—when I look back, I draw my bow northward to shoot the Celestial Wolf!
Time surged madly. This space turned into a graveyard of ages. Whether it was Joe Di wielding Fate’s Loom, Zane Han and Lucas Pearl at its edge, or Zach locked within it, all could feel time wildly slipping away, everything vanishing swiftly.
Endless time flowed before their eyes, turning into moonlight in a well, flowers in water…
The temples of Zane Han and Lucas Pearl began to turn gray. Even though they weren’t targeted by Fate’s Loom, their hair was graying just like Joe Di’s.
Zane Han could move now—Fate’s Loom had torn a small gap in Zach’s domain of death. But Zane Han didn’t dare move. He knew that if he did, he would trigger the wild surge of temporal energy and risk damaging his foundation.
He was filled only with shock—shock that Joe Di could still move under such terrifying domain suppression. Not only could he move, but he could unleash such a fearsome power of time… No, it was a space-time divine ability.
Joe Di was even more terrifying than he imagined. Someone like this could never be bound or suppressed by Slay Yi or Lucas Pearl.
He couldn’t understand why Joe Di dared to unleash Fate’s Loom instead of using the chance to escape. But he trusted Joe Di had his reasons. After all, Joe Di had left his Dao mark at the Saint Seat Plaza. Without hesitation, Zane Han summoned his artifact, ready to attack Zach the moment he could move.
Zane Han wasn’t a fool. Would Zach spare him? The answer was obvious: not a chance.
Lucas Pearl was just as stunned as he stared at Joe Di. To act under Zach’s crushing domain was already beyond his expectations. What surprised him even more was that Joe Di could escape, yet chose not to. Instead, he used his bow to lock down Zach—was he trying to help Lucas Pearl?
He had never met anyone like this before. But Lucas Pearl made his decision instantly: if Zach attacked Joe Di, he would risk everything to strike back at Zach.

Joe Di chose to act instead of fleeing—after careful consideration in a brief moment, he felt his choice was correct.
First, he didn’t believe Zach would really spare him or Zane Han. Zach existed solely for the Dao, with no personal feelings involved. Facing those who plotted against him, would he show mercy? Joe Di believed Zane Han and Lucas Pearl saw it too: if Zach attacked him, they would fight back.
What finally prompted Joe Di to act was the tiny flaw in the domain locking him down. For someone as powerful as Zach to suppress the three of them with his domain—could such a flaw really exist? Moreover, this gap wasn’t intentionally revealed, but was a gap of vitality. Only with the Jianmu Tree and his acute sensitivity to cosmic laws could Joe Di detect it. Without the Jianmu Tree or his mastery of the Grand Law, he wouldn’t have noticed.
For Zach’s domain to have a gap of vitality meant he was likely injured, or his Dao itself had a flaw. Since there was a weakness, the three of them working together might be able to wound Zach further. Zach probably wouldn’t pay the price to kill all three, and might not even succeed.
These thoughts combined to make Joe Di take the risk. After unleashing Fate’s Loom to lock down Zach, and seeing that Zach still didn’t attack, Joe Di knew he had guessed right.
Time flowed and the Dao rhythm of ages erupted. In the center of the domain, Joe Di actually sensed the Dao rhythm of Loom of Ages. Under the operation of his Grand Law, the rhythm of Loom of Ages merged with Fate’s Loom, greatly increasing its power—just like when his Time’s Third Loom and Fourth Loom were combined for maximum effect.
Loom of Ages—shuttling through time as swiftly as flight! Life is but a passing guest, never to see twilight!
Zach’s previously unchanged expression finally twitched; his hair began to turn gray as well. Under the flow of time and space, even he could not resist the passage of ages.
"You are strong. If I came at another time, you would not be able to resist me." Zach fixed his gaze on Joe Di, his tone no longer casual.
Joe Di’s hair grew even grayer. He stared at Zach, his tone just as calm. "You’re right."
"It’s good that you know. Opposing me is pointless. I can leave today, but do you understand the consequences of being targeted by me? When I return without any flaws, what chance will you have?" Zach’s voice remained steady and calm.
Joe Di looked at Zach and said coolly, "If you’re still here after ten breaths, I’ll shoot my long arrow. And my arrows are not limited to just one…"
As he spoke, another long arrow hovered at Joe Di’s side.
Zach’s eye twitched even more. Staring at Joe Di’s arrow, he said in a low voice, "To find Moment’s Edge at the Edge of Time and forge such arrows in the Temporal Void—you truly have the right to say that. Until we meet again."
With those words, Zach’s entire figure faded, as if melting away, and vanished.
Watching Zach vanish, Joe Di finally let out a breath. He would never yield to Zach’s threats. He resolved that this was the greatest gap in strength he’d ever faced. Next time he met Zach, he had to reach the Creation Realm—otherwise, in Genesis City, he would still have no chance.
(That’s all for today, friends. Good night!)
