"Alright! Then let's settle this the old-fashioned way—I'll give you this guy back! But he might spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair—" Shawn Young declared loudly, tossing Stanford, who was limp in his hand, toward Damian Shen.
"Thud—" The unconscious Stanford collapsed at Damian Shen's feet like a dead dog.
Damian Shen frowned, a cold glint flashing in his eyes. Suddenly, he clapped his hands. At that moment, several fierce-looking, oddly dressed men stepped out from the private rooms along the second-floor corridor. Each of them carried a unique weapon, and behind them surged a crowd of burly men in black, all wielding automatic submachine guns, their dark barrels aimed squarely at Shawn Young and his two companions.
Downstairs in the main hall, chaos erupted. The dozens of Eaststar boys mingled in Poison Bar received their orders and immediately started a riot. They violently overturned tables and chairs, stormed the stage after the pole-dancing girls, and even chased and harassed the waitstaff and bar girls. Many servers and hostesses screamed and scattered in terror, faces pale, shaking with fear!
It didn’t stop there—outside the main entrance, a cacophony of shouting and chaos quickly rose. Shawn Young activated his 'Celestial Sight' for a quick scan—he saw that outside Poison Bar, two gangs of thugs were already fighting, hacking at each other with machetes in a bloody brawl. The scene was gruesome, with flesh and blood flying everywhere. The other bars on the street, afraid of getting caught in the crossfire, had already shut down for the night! In an instant, the once lively Lan Kwai Fong had become a battlefield for gang warfare!
May Gu saw the situation turning dangerous and quickly ducked behind Shawn Young, pulling out her phone to call for backup. But she soon realized she had no signal, and when she tried to use the landline at the counter, she found the phone line had been cut. May Gu’s face changed—she understood: everyone here had been completely surrounded by Damian Shen’s Eaststar Triad inside Poison Bar!
Shawn Young hadn’t expected the enemy to be so well prepared. He knew he could fight his way out with May Gu and Yara Zen, but there were still the Thirteen Enforcers downstairs, innocent employees, and even the bar girls who got in trouble for helping Yara Zen. In this situation, there was no way he could protect everyone.
So, Shawn Young asked Damian Shen in a deep voice, "So you came prepared. Fine, how do you want to settle this according to the rules of the underworld? Speak!"
Damian Shen was clearly annoyed, but seeing Shawn Young’s calm face, he couldn’t help but secretly admire him. Then he sneered and said, "Heh—looks like you really are bold and talented for your age. A young hero, I respect that. But the grudge between us still needs to be settled!"
Shawn Young wasn’t in the mood to listen to his speech. Instead, he pulled out his phone and stared at the screen in confusion. Before Damian Shen showed up, his phone had rung several times, but the bar was too noisy and he’d been busy dealing with Stanford. Now, when he checked, he saw a string of missed calls and texts—all from Rain Cheng. Shawn Young wanted to call her back, but suddenly there was no signal, leaving him puzzled as he held his phone.
"Heh, Shawn, don’t be surprised. I’ve already ordered my men to block all signals in this area—no one can contact the outside world. You’d better focus on how to settle things according to the rules of the underworld! Now, let’s start with the first issue!" Damian Shen said coldly, waving to his men. Several black-clad thugs stepped forward and picked up the unconscious Stanford.
"Stanford has been with me since he was two—I treat him like my own son. Now, because of you and the Thirteen Enforcers, he’s crippled. So, we’ll settle this score with the Thirteen Enforcers first!" Damian Shen barked, waving his hand again. The black-clad thugs dragged another man out from a private room like a dog, threw him to the floor, and pressed a dozen guns to his head.
Shawn Young looked over and frowned—he didn’t recognize the guy. The burly man was tied up tightly like a dumpling, his mouth sealed with tape. His face was swollen, his black clothes were torn, and he was covered in shoe prints. Clearly, he’d taken quite a beating.
"Ah! Oxhead—how’d you end up caught by these guys?! Are you alright?!" May Gu’s face went pale when she saw the big guy, and she couldn’t help but rush forward to check on him.
"Mmm—mmm—" The big guy lit up when he saw May Gu and Yara Zen, but quickly shook his head, signaling them to stay back.
"Heh—Elder May, bet you didn’t think your screw-up little brother Oxhead would end up in my hands, huh? The guy thought he was some kind of Thirteen Enforcers tough guy and just crashed right in. I just did him the favor—" Damian Shen sneered, sounding casual as he talked to May Gu.
"Damian Shen—what do you want in exchange for my brother?!" May Gu knew she couldn’t act rashly now and could only grit her teeth and ask.
Shawn Young hadn’t expected the big guy to be May Gu’s actual brother—the difference between siblings could really be wild! Still, he knew the priority was to help May Gu save her brother. After all, Oxhead only got caught because Yara Zen called him for help, so Shawn Young quietly shifted his stance, looking for a chance to take down the gunmen.

Damian Shen noticed Shawn Young’s subtle movements. He pulled out a small, black matchbox-sized remote and sneered, "Kid, this is how things go in the streets! Saving Oxhead won’t be so easy! I’ve put a micro-bomb in his mouth—not very powerful, but enough to blow his head like a watermelon. One press of this button and boom! So I suggest you play by the rules if you want to keep your friend’s head intact!"
"Fine! Your adopted son Stanford got crippled because he messed with my woman. If you want to settle the score, put it all on me! How do you want to resolve this by underworld rules?" Shawn Young hadn’t expected Damian Shen to have everything planned out, so he forced himself to hold back. He knew saving Oxhead meant playing by Damian Shen’s rules, and he wasn’t sure he could beat him to the punch with that remote.
"Simple. I won’t bother with the details of how this started—things are messy in the underworld, and it’s hard to say who’s right or wrong. Since you’re taking the blame, I won’t make it harder for you. Just get through our Eaststar Triple Kill Gauntlet, and I’ll let Oxhead go! If you fail—well, too bad! The rest of tonight’s debts will be settled one by one. I like to resolve things all at once!" Damian Shen said coldly.
"Eaststar Triple Kill Gauntlet? Fine! Can we start now? Is it happening here?" Shawn Young looked relaxed, as if he were getting ready for a footrace.
"Not here! All the scores will be settled at once. So, come with me. This place belongs to the Thirteen Enforcers and Hung Brotherhood, and the police will be here soon. I’m not looking to start a full-blown gang war in Hong Kong just yet! You’ll come with me, and we’ll resolve everything at another location." With that, Damian Shen turned coldly and headed downstairs.
